3/15/16	Every time we go to one of the big industry conventions we begin anew missing the elegance that Michael Ninn brought to the genre. Sure there continue to be some very fine directors that do some very fine work — even a bit of it quite beautiful — but Michael just had a way with talent, and quite simply with light that sets him apart from mere mortals. Since he celebrates his birthday on this date every year, we miss him and thank him all at the same time. We have all made it one more year appreciating keen aesthetics, if nothing else. 12/31/15	As the year comes to a close, almost every media or news organization does some sort of “year in review” kind of program, which they follow with a “this year will be different in this way…” sort of thing. In our little part of California they did a survey where 55% of the people’s highest hope would be a new “forever home” for all the rescue animals out there. This seems nice until you read that coming in at #2 were 22% of the folks who most desired shelter for homeless people. … We’re not filled with optimism here, so we’re sticking with a Kristal Summers Naked Camshow.
