6/30/07	It may seem hard to believe, but we always read and (mostly) listen to the member emails that come in. Now we can’t say we always follow the “advice” since some of the “suggestions” seem to be physically impossible, but some of them are actually nice, and those we tend to pay attention to. We also like giving friends a semi-public chance to “vent” when life has given them lemons … or marshmellow bunnies, or something … and so we’re able to accomplish two goals very early in the process today. We get to see a lot of “Dee Behind the Scenes” changing clothes and generally being adorable and we get to learn some history that involves many, many naked women. All in all, with this much accomplished before nine o’clock in the morning, we’d better go spend some quality time with the dogs. 6/26/07	Details remain sketchy at this point, but it appears that D.Minion and Lon had a meaningful experience with Julia Ann over the weekend – which happened to include the use of a bed. We decided that while we’re uncovering (as it were) more details, today might just be a good day to recount some Julia Ann experiences with our old friend Inari Vachs. Apparently Julia Ann has developed some experience dealing with Naughty Amateurs – which would undoubtedly include both Lon and D.Minion, by the way. 6/17/07	We’re off to a geek convention so that we might learn new and improved ways to be confused in our everyday efforts, and then we’re staying down for the Erotica LA Convention next Weekend. Now as we understand it, one should make a practice of being kind to strangers, and so that’s what we’re doing in this particular mega-venture to entertain you in our absence. While Maverick doesn’t qualify as someone we don’t know obviously, we can assure you with absolute certainty that he is indeed stranger than most people you’ll ever meet. Lamenting his failure to arrange a visit to correspond with our upcoming parade with porn stars, he … let’s say, unhappily … pointed out that we never made time to publish his … let’s say unique … adventures at the AEE last January. So we’ve made the (considerable) effort to do that. Without providing too much editorial comment at this early juncture, let us just point out that you could read 1,000 words and look at 100 pictures on each of the seven days covering our little trip here, and you’d still have four more pictures to go – along with Heaven knows how many words. Culture is a curious thing; add it to the XXX world, and you’ve got an interesting animal to say the least. 6/14/07	You know what’s good about Mia Smiles? Well, darned near everything if you want to know the truth. So when Mia stepped in as wardrobe mistress, and cell phone aficionado, and talent to work with Katsumi, we decided we’d hang out and see if anything interesting happened. It seemed to oddly enough. 6/6/07	In keeping with our basically weird existence we have a special report today that’s a “Lala” shoot that doesn’t actually happen in LA. We know: It sounds confusing. Now we’ve said this before, but you really might consider just skipping to the 100+ pictures of the beautiful naked woman. Either that, or you’re gonna need a map, and you really have to be careful about paper cuts … at least on some parts of your person … that may be rather exposed while you’re looking … or maybe not. 6/2/07	Favorite shirt we saw at the rodeo this weekend: “Sure beer has no food value but food has no beer value either.” … OK. We didn’t really go to the rodeo this weekend, but there’s one in town and this guy wearing a cowboy hat had that shirt on, so we figure it’s a fair assumption that the shirt ended up at the rodeo too. 2/17/07	We’ve got another big trip down to LA planned, because Michael has decided that it’s a grand idea to shoot eight days in a row … because Michael is completely insane. That said, we figured we’d tag along anyway because odds are good that there’s going to be at least a few very interesting young women to talk to, and the fact that they’re likely to be scantily clad really doesn’t enter into the equation at all. OK. It might, but we were never very big fans of equations in general, so we plan on doing as little math as possible while we enjoy the ambiance. For your part, you can finally read about Redish’s big day with an also scantily clad Kristal Summers, and you can once again remind yourself about the value of genetics as you consider Anais. All in all, if this doesn’t keep you busy until we get back next weekend, then you can try solving equations for three variables or something, but don’t ask us for help. 2/14/07	The train she was a slowin’ down as we headed into the end of the trip for Lon’s AEE story. But we now know a whole lot of things we didn’t know before – none of which will help in the slightest if we ever want to be on Jeopardy, by the way. Still we’ve now managed to finish this particular trek and we hid a little Dee (and Georgia Adair) bonus in there for the detective-types among you. (OK. While her magazine won’t “officially” be hitting the stands for a couple of weeks, we thought we’d provide this Public Service Announcement so that y’all might begin saving your pennies so that you may purchase one. 2/3/07	Our bonus today includes 100 beautiful pictures of Ninn Worx’ contract star Heather. Well, we did include Lon’s Day One of the AEE today too, and depending on your perspective, that might be “wrong” – but we’re pretty sure it’s not going to make anyone physically attack us or anything. Historically, by the way, that has been our internal barometer of “wrong” – which probably means yet another thing we’d rather not think about. We also talk about Froot Loops. 2/1/07	According to the take-out packaging at the local’s Wendy’s restaurant, a “Zedonk” is a cross between a male zebra and a female donkey. Implied in this description must be the logical assumption that a female zebra would kick the begeezus out of a male donkey if he tried to mount her. Now we don’t know what exactly Lon’s beginning of the AEE would be a cross between, and we’re pretty sure the one thing it doesn’t have is implied logical reasons buried in it. But it does represent a rather wacky example of our lives, and we get to see Dee naked for a bit, and that’s always nice. You have to consider that we may not be the best judges of things around here, though, as we thought “Zedonk” was the sound your rotweiller makes when the car it’s been chasing for months finally decides to stop in the road. 1/24/07	Here’s a shirt you can’t wear just everywhere: “ASS. The New Vagina.” … This and other observations come through today in the first “Dear Readers Speak” in a couple of years it seems like. Sometimes the uninitiated are so darned cute. And sometimes they’re a bit painful in their honesty. It’s interesting how “regular” people look at an event like the AVN Awards Show, and it’s equally interesting (although certainly quite a bit more odd) how many pictures our own “three amigos” seemed to take of each other. Fortunately they at least had the courtesy to include various fetching women in the photographs too. In the midst of “plowing through” we seem to have wandered down a diversion. We love that. 1/20/07	We’re taking baby steps here, not so much because of the Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss movie but because that seemed like a reasonable way to start our assault on the current queue. Consequently we decided to open with a nice little D.Minion story about getting ready for the AVN Awards show this year … with Heather Vuur, Audrey Hollander, Faith Leon, Monica Mayhem, Ruby Flame, Lorraine Sisco, and of course Dee and Kristal. There were some boys there too, but who really notices them with this cast of females? We did read a wonderfully pithy quote in a Lawrence Block book that would fit right in here. Speaking of a particularly attractive female character Mr. Block described her as sending off “a subliminal message that said, Sleep with me and you will die. But it will be worth it.” If you haven’t read the Bernie Rhodenbarr “Burglar” series by Lawrence Block, by the way, you’re missing out on some very funny and entertaining times. While you’re checking Amazon, though, you might look at these pictures and Mav’s video. That’s a fine way to spend some time too. 1/15/07	Hey, we lived through it! (Of course “lived” would be a relative term here.) You know what’s a really bad idea? Reading a Steven King (technically Richard Bachman, though) book about a grueling and ultimately fatal competition whose only characteristic happens to be that it involves lots and lots of walking, precisely while you’re attending a convention that also necessarily involves lots and lots of walking. This is a bad idea. While we’re valiantly trying to make some semblance of order of the 2,000+ pictures, a couple hours of video, multiple audio files, and more autographs then we’ve even begun to count, we thought we’d share a little joy that can come from a virus. Hey, weirdness begets weirdness, and if the Risqué site doesn’t prove that theory for you, then you haven’t really been paying attention. On the upside, we’ve recently had many opportunities to use an almost forgotten phrase, “My dogs are barkin’ now.” And if you know what that means, while you may not be a Redneck yourself, you certainly know at least one. 1/8/07	You knew, of course, that we would not be allowed to leave the LA area and head for Las Vegas before we had accomplished DM’s task of adding the Essentially Juli AND Shayla Double-DVD to the catalogue, right? Well, we did that, and then we set up some things to keep you occupied for the next week as we converge (from many points of the world, truth be told) on the annual Adult Entertainment Expo for the next week. Consider it a bonus for today, and then consider coming with us next year. 1/3/07	We learned a fun fact about the entertainment industry today. The cost of shooting ONE episode of the formerly famous TV show, Maimi Vice, actually cost more money than the budget for the entire YEAR of Miami’s actual Vice Squad. Hmm. … Well, nobody said that the entertainment industry makes sense, and so we quickly gloss over our bit of insight into that and look at some pictures of beautiful Dee, gracing the shores of Jamaica. 1/1/07	It occurred to us that peering into a Facade might be a dandy way to start the New Year, considering the business we’re in and all. We didn’t really give that enough thought considering all the football on TV today though, as even just Day One on the Set with D.Minion turned out to be one of those “thousands of words and 225 pictures” sort of DM days. Ah, well we technically made it as a New Year’s Day post anyway, assuming you happen to live in the Pacific Time Zone at least. Some times you just need to channel some old country songs as you go through life. 2/26/06	Do you know how you know you’re in Los Angeles? I was sitting outside a little sandwich shop yesterday and a guy walked down the street in one of those t-shirts that have obviously been washed about 500 times – you know the “favorite shirt” kind of washing? The shirt said, “If we are what we eat, then I’m going to be you in the morning.” THAT’S how you know you’re in Los Angeles. Now you might want to decide if you’d rather spend a few days in LA, or (finally) peruse D.Minon’s account of the 2006 AEE. They should both take about the same amount of time, we’re betting, but the DM insights will still be cheaper, so they have that going for them. 2/21/06	We’ve got a Big Time Stall going on around here today, but that doesn’t matter as much because we’ve also got the luscious Sarah Blake to help us fill our time. We’ve often said that we lead a very strange life, but it may be that strangeness has no bounds around us. A graduating high school senior (Yes, he’s 18, D.Minon.) casually asked me at lunch if I knew anything about Porn Stars. It seems his final paper has to do with “Women Enslaved by Pornography.” And the only thing this kid knows about me is that I’m friends with his dad. I expect I’d better ask Dad how much I can tell the young inquiring mind. As it turns out, I probably do know something about this subject. The rest of you should probably just enjoy Sarah. So we figure he just has some special powers, but at least he only uses them for good, and he does share with us after all, so that’s OK. 2/1/06	We’ve said it before, but we really do lead very strange lives around here. And apparently the condition can be catching as we’ll learn today. Once a distant Kristal Summers fan, then a shy Members’ Party attendee, and eventually a regular visitor to the Risqué homefront, our friend Maverick has taken a professional turn that’s really hard to explain. Now it’s not so much that the industry has a new webmaster among its members as it is that Maverick is that new persona. We know Maverick, and Maverick does NOT shoot POV videos with professional adult entertainers. Something is very, very wrong in the universe. We’re calling this “Fayed to Maverick” but that’s only for as long as it takes us to find that “Turn Back Time” Machine.
