4/28/08	When the folks at the office learned that the Denver Broncos drafted guys with the names Eddie Royal, Carlton Powell, and Spencer Larson some people around here said it sounded like we’d have to start serving high tea at half time or something. … As it turns out, some people aren’t nearly as funny as they think they are. … On the other hand delving into a review of D.Minion spending time with Sean Michaels and his prodigious – um – persona on a porn set will probably be just as funny as you’d think it would be. 4/27/08	Well, we’re back from an odd combination of conventions down in L.A. again. This time the folks at “Fangoria” and the other folks at “Adult-Con” were kind enough to schedule their events at the same time, albeit at opposite ends of the Convention Center. Oddly the women at the horror gathering seemed to dress rather like the women at the porn convention, although they did seem to wear a lot more black and have a lot more holes poked in their faces – presumably for decorative purposes. We’re not sure we really understand that particular aspect of the sub-culture, but we do have D.Minion working diligently on explaining it all to us. We should mention that we’re not making any promises that this will in fact help, though. Until then (and as we’re working to wade through the “queue” here), we managed to uncover Mav’s still shoot that he somehow forgot to include with the “Cam Show” video entry, so maybe that will help. 4/20/08	Ah. Mr. U.K. seems to be poking around again, back from his sojourns getting various British women to disrobe and otherwise occupy themselves for his cameras. True, Maverick does seem a bit confused on the whole “and how does this make sense in the risqué scheme of things” approach, but he’s young yet and we have great faith in him. Of course we had great faith that Craig Morton was going to lead the Broncos to a Super Bowl Championship too, so it’s probably best if you don’t use our opinion as the barometer of reasonableness. 4/19/08	Darn it. We keep promising Dee that we’ll catch her up on her KSEX history – which seems much more important now that KSEX itself is basically history – and then she calls and mentions that … um … we don’t seem to have done that yet. … OK. Well this time we have taken the time to develop a Dee System, which beats the heck out of a regular ol’ system if you want to know the truth. 4/16/08	Alicia Rhodes Well Traveled. … Hmm. Rarely do we have a title that as effectively conveys the topic being addressed as this one does. OK, so technically Maverick didn’t literally use this title, but he’s just starting to seek out his investigative journalist muse, so we’re cutting him a little slack. And if his “investigation” actually reflects much more of a “personal reflection” point of view than meetings with any sort of Deep Throat character, and his role as a “journalist” really comes down to simply writing those thoughts down, well what’s the harm in the Grand Perspective? Besides, if you think about it, you’ll see that Alicia certainly reflects one sort of deep throat character. There’s that. Also, we get to admire a refreshingly different kind of porn star, and we get to learn about European geography – maybe. Things could be worse. … Life is short. Why stress over details? 4/12/18	We interrupt our regularly scheduled chaos to bring you a bit of insight on current events in adult. Now we don’t do this very often, as there are scads of web sites out there that stake “news” as their particular niche on the web, but sometimes a situation will just throw one low and outside, and you just have to swing for the fence. (Don’t you just love a good baseball metaphor?) We could tell you the topic for today, in fact that would be a completely logical thing to do right now, but honestly we can only take so much “convention” in one sitting. We can at least tell you that we’re using the unusually beautiful “Tall Goddess” and the captivating Renee Perez to illustrate some of our finer points – all the while showing off some of theirs. (Yeah, we’re topical and funny. It’s a gift.) Also, if you point out the exact topic in an introductory area like this, people can go back and figure out when that happened, thus “dating” your post in the future. All the really smart web people say that only news sites date their posts, as membership sites want to appear more “timeless” in their appeal. 4/9/08	D.Minion must have been bored last weekend, because she apparently spent a whole bunch of time watching XXX movies. Either that, or we missed one hell of a party over at her place. 4/8/08	Apparently, men are pigs. At least that’s the lesson we’re presumably supposed to learn from D.Minion’s review ofCheating Housewives #4. That would be like trying to write a book about Christianity using an imaginary wonderland that a bunch of kids find by wandering through a secret room at the back of a closet. … Oh. … So that happens sometimes. … Still, life-lessons do not happen this time. 4/3/08	Some video projects that we do for the web turn out to be a whole lot more “difficult” than we would have thought they’d be when we put them into the queue. Or maybe we just read about the process of Maverick coordinating a photo shoot for naked women utilizing almost no money. … Or (and this would be the more likely option, truth be told) we just look at a bunch of naked pictures of Kaz B and Masie and we pretty much ignore everything else. Not to give too much away, and we’ll tell you right up front that we haven’t honestly seen the necessary sales or income reports required to be absolutely sure, but we’re thinking that The Simpsons Movie probably made more money. We don’t really have that many people working around here and everyone seems to be in the middle of one of those “Mega-Posts” that take a lot of time and organization. Until then, we’ve taken a moment to appreciate Dee’s breasts, which if you’ve ever wondered turns out to be a dandy way to motivate people in the workplace. 7/31/07	Sometimes you just need to look at something from a different perspective to recognize the obvious. Of course usually the new “angle” on everything also brings its own myriad of confusion, but if you try to boil it down to its essence, the situation often becomes more clear. Then you can add in a little scientific analysis and that might help, and you might even consider a dash of philosophy or even a metaphysical conceit or two if you’re really brave. Very soon everything will just look even more complicated than it was before started trying to look at it clearly and so you just wing it and hope for the best. That’s what we do. 7/23/07	We’ve been working madly way behind the scenes here, and there’s a big announcement on the horizon. And at first blush while all of these conventions seem pretty much the same (especially to those of us that have been to 50+ of them) they all have their own … um … uniqueness, let’s call it. Of course there seemed to be surprisingly little blushing on the show floor this year, well except from Lon and D.Minion while they were smothered on a bed by Julia Ann’s breasts right in the middle of the crowd on Saturday. 7/5/07	We’re putting on an “Innocent” front today, at least while we’re putting the final touches on the Lon/D.Minion story of Erotica LA this year. We haven’t heard from his doctors but last we saw Lon he was still gasping from rolling around on the bed with Julia Ann – which seems perfectly understandable if you think about it. So you can take a moment to ponder how this might have come about in the first place, and then you can try to figure out how these two words go together Innocence: Rebel. We figure it’s only in the world of Michael Ninn, but that’s always an OK place to be, so we’re just going to go with it. We’ve seen the pictures, though, and while “rebellious” might come to mind, we didn’t get many “innocent” vibes here. Naturally, of course, we consider this to be a very good thing. 3/28/07	Usually when we go through 200+ photographs from a single post there isn’t one particular one that catches our eye as the “perfect” one to use as the little thumbnail on this page. Today we have found one. Now the story of Through Her Eyes, Day Two, contains all of the wonderful insights and photographs you’ve come to expect from D.Minion, but it also has a slight caveat at the end of the story before we let you see “everything” she has to offer. Of course if you don’t really want to see everything D.Minion has to offer (or you don’t know what “caveat” means), then you’re probably not a member here anyway. Enjoy. 3/24/07	Technology takes a giant leap forward today. Or maybe it just stumbles blindly in hopes that everything will turn out alright. Sometimes it’s really hard to tell with things like technology. We do know some things for certain, however. Michael has again graciously offered up the DVD Gallery from the upcoming Meet Heather. And we do have our first forays into the honestly baffling world of HD work on the web. We also know that Heather is the reigning Penthouse Pet of the Year. But we’re not really sure what her name is now, if you can believe that. With her contract on hiatus from Ninn Worx while she fulfills her Penthouse responsibilities it seems fairly certain that it’s “Vandeven” – at least for awhile. We figure we’ll just call her “Heather V.” until all the big boys figure it out. If you can avoid conflict completely you can usually just pretend it’s not there. It’s kind of peaceful in our world. 3/23/07	Sometimes it’s the simplest things in life that make it all seem worthwile. And sometimes it’s Kristal Summers hanging around set waiting for the action to begin. 3/10/07	Apparently people are all up in arms because we found out that a government agency abused the power granted them for a completely unrelated purpose. Gee. Did somebody miss the memo on the effects of “Absolute Power” and all that? Well, we’ve decided to forego political commentary (which is really easy to do when you have sexually adventurous people to talk about anyway), and venture into Day One of Through Her Eyes with D.Minion. Fortunately these eyes belong to Faith Leon, with her supporting cast of Sophia, Selina Draagon, and some boys. We don’t pay much attention to the boys if you haven’t noticed. … As for the government folks, maybe you should just try living life as if your mom were looking over your shoulder all the time. 3/5/07	If you’re a really, really good photographer, sometimes you like to take unusual pictures. And sometimes hanging around a porn set seems unusual to some people. And sometimes those things go together. Although not solving the mystery from a couple of days ago, at least we’ve found an interesting diversion while we continue our investigation. As a wise man once said, “You’ll be more successful if you always just play the hand you’re dealt.” Or maybe he said, “Always fold and walk away before you’re completely broke.” We’re not sure. We were never very good at card games. We are good at recognizing talent in those that recognize talent though. Bonus. (Or is that Sexy …?) We were going to just write this whole thing off as “bunk” but then we decided to concede the elements of viability here, and then we noticed that no one really uses the word bunk anymore, so we decided not to start yet another new fad.
