4/18/20	We took an internal Risqué poll and determined that providing naked pictures of Anais definitely qualifies as an Essential Service. While stuck at home watching [some adjective here] people lashing out at confinement and economic shutdown as they venture into public unprotected and in close quarters, we also had the following opinion: We can see how they might be questioning medical experts and government officials who talk in macro terms while we live in micro ones. That said, while we could not force them to be human test subjects for the omnipresent “this is a really bad idea” theory, we find ourselves perfectly willing to let them volunteer. We hope they’re all correct, and we can all go back to normal very soon, because all the panic has been completely over-blown. 4/13/20	One of the pitfalls of being around longer than some of the people making adult movies now have even been alive surfaces with the inevitable memory surges that some posts will trigger. Despite Presidential whinings about rich people losing money, it does seem like massive amounts of people — poor or not — being able to not die should trump (a word used intentionally, and hilariously, by the way) economic recovery in time for our leader to brag before the next national election. That said, while going into the grocery store wearing masks seemed just fine, we realized that now we could not tell if the store were being robbed by bandits. We could have been invaded by a Lesbian Teen Hunter and not even know it. … Turns out we were, as it happens. 4/5/20	Sometimes you have had a story to tell for a couple decades, but you just never get around to it. You might tell yourself that you were simply being benevolent, chivalrous even, as not all the characters in the story put themselves in the best of lights on this occasion. You would be lying to yourself in this case, of course, because really the occasion simply hadn’t come up where the story made any sense beyond petty annoyance resulting in mean-spirited discourse. 4/2/20	We were going to run this post yesterday and say something like, “Wow! We found four more previously unreleased full scenes featuring our favourite Super Siren and Horny Villains from Katwoman, and you can see them all right here!” (Naturally we had to add the extra vowel in “favourite” what with Katwoman being a U.K. production, and all.) Then we were going to say, “April Fools!” … But this year the first of April does not lend itself well to jokes, so we pushed a day. 12/31/09	Did you know that the term “Blue Moon” technically refers to the second full moon in a given calendar month? Now that pretty much sums up the educational value from a purely scientific perspective, but Maverick chose this last day of 2009 to celebrate his continuing love of breasts (which happens a lot more often than once in a blue moon, as you might know). Given close inspection here, we’re all perfectly prepared to defend the position that Syren Sexton has two characteristics relevant to this discussion that could give one a reminder of full moons, though, and there are, by definition then, two of them in a calendar month, so maybe this all closes out the year quite nicely. 12/23/09	We could make polite conversation about the weather, because it seems that the entire country finds itself suffering from a cold spell. (For what it’s worth, Ron specifically denied responsibility for the joke, maybe because that’s fair, or maybe because Ron specializes in making audiences groan yet another way these days.) … At any rate, you’ll probably be happy to know that we decided to focus on Chasey Lain today, rather than Mr. Jeremy, although we did manage to tuck in a brief discussion of humor as an art form, and even a little more Tiger, er Cheetah, Woods. We’re also unveiling yet another update to the navigational system in the Members’ Area, just so you know. Will it make it much easier to get around and much less cluttered while you’re trying to do so? The Geeks here say that it will. 12/7/09	Virtually a decade to the day since delineating our desires, we deploy the First Official Members’ Search Engine across the Risqué Commune. … We decided that December 7th might be the ironically perfect day to launch such a venture, in celebration of Chasey Lain’s birthday, an early risqué client, of course, and certainly not because of that other December 7th reason. Honestly we’re hoping that bit of historic misery does not portend anything at all in our circumstance. We’re a tad intrepid about this whole thing, as it turns out, as the effort could have the impact of foisting our foibles to the forefront. Suddenly it has become amazingly easy to uncover heretofore obscure links to very old stories, and it remains to be seen whether or not that constitutes a good thing. 12/5/09	Presumably one can become desensitized to anything. If you can believe detective novels, law enforcement officers begin to simply accept how bad human beings can be toward each other. An Emergency Medical Technician must develop some ability to accept the gore they might see as a regular part of life, and just get on with their jobs. Even lawyers eventually learn to accept one another. It seems to happen, after all. Similarly, in the sex business, our threshold for outrageous behavior must by definition expand as we go along.
