11/21/09	Cold weather brings thoughts of bitter cold, too many clothes, travel woes, and general mushiness in many aspects of life, right? Well, in Southern California we do what we can to empathize with the rest of the country, but we generally only get as far as Aurora Snow before we forget to be kind and start thinking how we really don’t miss this time of year back in our home towns. Unless you’ve spent some time here, you probably don’t know it, but despite the vast number of people in Los Angeles, no one really seems to be “from” here. A dandy collection has migrated in, however, so we’re all planning on getting together to feel bad for those of you whose “drift” still means a bunch of frozen water, and not a clever idea. 11/15/09	One of the basic tenets around here for the last ten years has been that we should always show the adult industry in its actual light, however dim that may be. After all, only network television routinely scripts “reality” shows, and having a bunch of isolated writers, some making tens of thousands of dollars per episode, set about determining how things “should” be to “look” real has always seemed, well, silly to us. (Yeah, yeah … So maybe TV in general elevated ludicrous to an art form, but that’s another discussion for a different day.) For now, we’re bringing in another of Maverick’s “Cam Shows” — which essentially involve simply putting a video camera on a tripod and pointing it at the beautiful women currently teasing Mav’s still camera. Even though it wouldn’t qualify as a dazzling new incarnation of applied technology, when Cate Harrington provides the talent pool, you don’t really need to over pay people completely inexperienced with the premise to tell us all how it should play out. 11/13/09	Friday the Thirteenth supposedly brings an ominous ambience. We fear. We fret. Or perhaps we happily embrace a “reason” to just stay home and look at porn — whatever works. In our case the day has for some reason always been a rather refreshing one, perhaps in part to the leader named “Lucky” we conjecture. On this particular day, however, we attribute our good feelings to a decision to once again let Kylie Ireland be in charge, and let D.Minion document the event. Much to Lon’s dismay, Steve happens to have been the very first member of the Risqué Commune Sites, before at some point we realized that we needed more help around here and enlisted his assistance. … More to point for today would be the conversation that began about Kristal Summers and her early days, and even more pertinent would be the actual visual evidence we have of that first memorable trip with the crew. 11/6/09	Steve here (AKA SteveD, Just Steve, for today known as “Mav’s Not Here So Let’s Give That Guy All The Work” ), on location from Risqué central. While bemoaning the Broncos first loss of the season, the topic of Julia Ann came up. I don’t remember exactly how, but if you’ve spent any time with us, you know the topic can quickly shift from just about anything to a beautiful woman — and then to that same woman naked. At some point I asked if anyone knew how many tattoos Julia has, which was a trivia question at one of the member’s parties. I didn’t know the answer then, and I still don’t today, but if anyone has a guess, I’d be willing to personally check with Ms. Ann to see if you’re right. … We had to cut Just Steve off here, explaining how we really try diligently not to ramble, at least in the introductory section of a story. 8/30/08	Oops. You’ve undoubtedly read somewhere about the importance of being a good example for your children, indeed for anyone around you as a practical matter. You know, “You lead much better by example than you ever will by direction” and all that. (For now let’s just forget about that whole Machiavellian philosophy and Sun Tzu, Art of War things. They’re overrated anyway.) … Well, somewhere along the line our buddy Maverick determined that our particular brand of humor must constitute the “proper” way of all web presentation. Consequently if you decide to foray further today, you’ll likely see some, um, video creation that firmly demonstrates our failure as exemplary figures. Of course Mav now thinks that every American uses “y’all” as a part of their normal conversation and all of us have alarm clocks that play “Titties ‘n’ Beer” every morning. 8/29/08	Oh, D.Minion was floating in the excited clouds today. 8/24/08	All good things come to an end, at least that’s what people who are trying to rationalize their condition after realizing that they won’t be able to enjoy something that has been really fun try to think. For us, having the Olympics on pretty much all the time in the office has been a splendid way to add a little mix to the mesh. We will miss it for the next couple of years, but we have learned about a whole lot of countries we’d never even heard of, so that’s a bonus. Also for us, assisting Maverick with his redesign has come to an end as well — which goes to show that even not necessarily all that good things come to an end too. Whew. Now we’re able to go back to the more fun adventures, this time involving our much more traditional entertainment in Kristal Summers and Dee. Everyone should have closets full of things like we do. 8/15/08	It seems like our invitation to the big premiere party for “The Four” must have gotten lost in the mail. Dang. Consequently we decided rather to spend our entertainment dollars on Rodney Carrington, who happened to be in town. We figured out why Mr. Carrington enjoys our site (at least as much as we’re sure he would if he actually knew who we are, naturally). Early in his act he relates a story about going to church that certainly sounds like us. “My heart’s in the right place,” he says, “It’s just my mind that wanders off into the gutter.” … Now this really has nothing whatsoever to do with D.Minion’s coverage of Angel Cassidy Exposed, but it was funny. 8/12/08	We can’t help it. International sports has been a common topic of conversation around the office this week, and so we got to wondering. 8/11/08	Oh, good grief! We turned on the Olympics each of the past two weekend mornings, and can you guess what NBC was showing? Yep. Rowing. … Worse yet, on Saturday, the UK team beat the US team, although we can’t say we were paying enough attention to determine if this happened to be some qualifying heat or some other kind. Still, what are the odds? Well, in addition to dodging phone calls from Maverick we also decided to show off something that not even one Olympic competitor can claim. Dee. 8/8/08	We had to post today, because all those eights are really good luck, and we can generally use all the luck we can find. If you knew about eights being good luck, and you’re not Chinese, then odds are good you’ve been watching all the hype for the opening of the Olympic Games in Beijing tonight. In the spirit of friendly competition we thought we’d feature a couple of a different kind of athlete today, albeit in slightly less clothing. 7/31/08	Did you ever do anything really dumb just because a good friend wanted you to? Yeah, well, this doesn’t exactly qualify as jumping off a cliff, or climbing up and painting the town water tower or anything, but we’re still putting up a story today that in good conscience we must simply encourage all of you not to read. For some undoubtedly deeply psychological reason, D.Minion has decided that we’re really all quite interested in a couple of aging domestic animals, and she has gone so far as to provide pictures (to our great shame). That said, we always make it easy for you to skip down to the bottom of an entry just by hitting the little camera icon at the top of the page, and you should definitely do that today. Once there you’ll find that we did manage to sneak in a bit of lesbian shower fun with Taren Steele and Juli Ashton — and there’s not a household pet in site. 7/9/08	You’d think we’d learn. Then, naturally, as we go through the process of adding our minutiae (which sometimes turns out not to be all that “minute” if you want to be technical about it) the posts seem to take on a life of their own — typically a very weird life. … Well, you’ll be happy (or maybe sad) to know that we’ve done it again with Erotica LA, 2008. 7/1/08	Reading a book the other day we realized that we don’t say “various and sundry” enough around here, particularly when you realize that this phrase pretty much sums up our lives. So we’re down shooting some more content and we stop for lunch. As we pull in to the lot for our favorite Valley-Local “Burger, Hot Dog, Chinese Food” joint, we notice a new bus stop bench out front advertising a “Topless Truck Wash” . Now presumably they don’t wash only topless trucks, but that’s still not overly odd. It’s LA, after all. Then we pop into a restroom inside and notice an expression of the quickly dying graffiti art written on the wall above the urinal. “Fuck the bitch, Suzie” it said, and it gave the anticipated phone number. Now other than obviously being less elegant than the traditional “For a good time” approach it didn’t really capture our attention until we read the last line reading, “Recommended by Ed.” … Don’t you just love style? Fortunately today we’re discussing neither men’s rooms nor Chinese restaurants that serve hot dogs. Instead we’ve unleashed even more “Dee on KSEX” entries, these being specifically from June 3rd and June 10th – of 2004. So those of you that have been members for some time probably realize that one could use that particular sentence referring to just about anything we’ve ever done around here. But we did make a conscious effort this time. After our last “topless girls pretending to wrestle” effort, we decided we should do something as far away from that “fluff” as possible. It didn’t take very long for someone to say, “Well, D.Minion on any of the Neo_ sets would fit that bill perfectly.” We decided this to be perfectly true, and so we’re heading into this particular “matrix” with DM on the set of Neo_Pornographia 4 – because why in the world would we start with number one, after all? Oh, and the person that came up with this idea has now received a very public “Thank You” for the suggestion, which turns out to be a lot cheaper than giving them an actual raise in salary.
