Laurent changed the music on the boom box from Gipsy Kings to funkified soul. [What other kinds of soul are there? Can you have bland soul? … Right. You don’t care. … More Heather. … ] Heather danced the “Robot” and Michael busted moves behind the monitors. As Heather slowed down the pace, Michael murmured, “She looks just like a perfume commercial….” I could see that. To me she resembled a prettier Catherine Deneuve from the 1970’s Chanel ads. [And that’s pretty high praise from D.Minion. (If you’re too young to remember, Chanel commercials were the equivalent of Victoria’s Secret ads from the 1970’s. We old folks used to consider a lot of things shocking.)]
“Time for the ‘bobcats’ to come out,” Michael Ninn directed. As Heather became topless, Michael joked, “I’d like to introduce you to ‘Cash’ and ‘Flow.’” [And now you have your porno economics lesson for the day.]
It was getting late. Heather was getting tired, but she persevered! Her last costume change was into the red coat-dress she also wore in Sacred Sin. A fitting ending to the day. PA Miguel hid behind Heather and held up her collar so Laurent could get the final pictures. [There are tricks to everything, aren’t there? And since we’re on the subject, becoming a PA on a shoot like this happens to be much trickier than you might think.]
It had been a magnificent photo shoot! I mentioned that spending the day with beautiful women never gets old, and spending the day with a beautiful woman who is nice, intelligent, and interesting is especially pleasant! [We have spent many days with Heather over the years, and it never fails to be both relaxing and entertaining. If every woman were like Heather, there would be no wars.]
Laurent took many spectacular photos of this incredible woman, so many that we had to run out and buy a portable hard drive to house the pictures. [Hey that was one of those shocking things as recently as 2006. Have some fun if you want to refresh your Geek Memory. See what technology was like way back then. ] (There were too many to burn to DVD’s.) So that means we’ll be looking at gorgeous Heather Vuur photo sets for a long, long time! [Oh, bother … . By the way, in honor of all this retro-speak, we decided to run D.Minion’s signature graphic from the old days. … As you can see, not everything was better then. On the upside, this little graphic does lead to 125 more (allowable) pictures of Heather on the members’ side. You don’t mind the cats so much then.]
