At the time, Shayla’s guy Anthony wasn’t performing much, and Shayla said she was surprised by the jealousy she felt at the beginning of the scene. Her man was having sex with Olivia Del Rio (and Shayla) and he (like the rest of the world) thought Ms. Del Rio was beautiful and sexy. [Trying to really understand porn stars is a bit like that old “singing pig” thing. You know the old saying? Never try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time and annoys the pig. That said, we pretty much all agree with Anthony’s assessment here.]

But Shayla was having sex with Olivia, too, (as well as Anthony), and SHE thought Olivia was gorgeous and hot. So she wasn’t surprised at Anthony’s feelings. [Of course “not surprised” does not equal “bubbly and happy” just so you know.] In addition, Shayla had been performing in Adult films for years, so she knew that it was a job – a FUN job, but a job. [Well, sort of.]
Shayla had a little talk with herself as the scene went on. “Everyone has jealousy,” she thought. “What are you going to do with it?” [Anthony probably had a little talk with himself as the scene went on too. It probably went something like, “I’m already going to be in trouble for this, so I might as well do what I can to get the most out of it.” Call it a hunch.]
Instead of seething, Shayla “talked (herself) out of” the green-eyed monster, and just concentrated on giving and receiving pleasure. After that she really enjoyed the scene! [Uh-huh. I believe that. Sure.]
