3/27/09	Aren’t they peculiar, the turns life often makes? Somehow, and against odds no actually knowledgeable person could have taken, we have found ourselves once again mentoring an adult production company. This time, though, it happens to be a brand new one, which makes the challenge unique, and that’s always fun. If we do a reasonable job, you may well be hearing about Night Moods Productions — hopefully in a positive way, come to think of it. On the upside, we do find ourselves consistent with our most dear philosophy as we approach life’s peculiar turns: At the very least we should try and accomplish new and different mistakes. 3/22/09	Our Newbie completes his task this weekend, as we wrap up the Uncle Gibby tribute to the 2009 AEE. He even did such a bang-up job on its companion video compilation that we demanded he allow us to double his salary — which if you know us at all means that this constitutes a guest editorial. We love our guest editorials, but the writers don’t honestly get much in the way of what most people would call “salary” — probably. Of course, we’ve never been overly concerned with what “most people” would do. As it turns out, that’s a very good thing around here. We’d spend most of our time being depressed. 3/21/09	The Vernal Equinox visits us again, reminding us of freshness, hope, and rebirth. Consequently we thought about Phoenix. … What can we say? We’re clever that way. Also, it’s generally sufficiently entertaining to read D.Minion’s Phoenix account, that you almost don’t notice the decidedly strange slant that she can bring to adult situations. If, however, you do happen to notice, take some advice from the ancient ones around here: Just pretend you don’t. 3/17/09	It seemed we should celebrate one of the few global holidays that don’t involve giving gifts, since that’s a tiny group. Consequently, Maverick finished up his Day Two of the AEE ’09, providing at least what may pass for edification in the process. We’re not sure about that, but we will tell you what we’ve learned about St. Patrick’s Day around here: You don’t technically need green beer; if you have enough of it, pretty much everybody at the party will be green. 3/15/09	Because of the weirdness of yesterday we didn’t actually get to the “bitty bonus” with Dee as soon as we wanted to. That said, there’s never really a bad time for Dee, and we did promise to keep plodding through her KSEX backlog. (OK, so we promise that every time she brings it up, but we always really mean it.) Also, we were obligated to make a couple of instructional additions to the new Message Board system, and we got a chance to blame Maverick for some more things. … All in all, this worked out as a fine addendum. 3/14/09	So we had perfectly wonderful news yesterday, cleverly coinciding with a rare second Friday the 13th in consecutive months. You see, THE MESSAGE BOARD IS BACK! Naturally this means that members can once again correspond with our favorite females directly, and that pretty much makes everybody happy. … Then we learned that a little bit of knowledge can still be a dangerous thing as D.Minion pulled rank a bit and “offered” her consultation services to the post. 3/11/09	Another Michael Ninn shoot is in the can, and at least one judge even says Michael has the right to use that name. A bit overcome with glee, though, we found ourselves in the midst of an unusually long movie trek over the last few days. On the upside that meant we had to spend an unusually long time on the set with Monique Alexander and Jenna Haze, though, so it was pretty hard to complain. Of course none of this has much to do with Uncle Gibby’s expose on Days Two and Three of the AEE, but it does give us more to look forward to, right? Oh, and because Dear Maverick decided that an autograph from Monique wasn’t worth waiting in line for, Tori Black has decided she’s going to “kick his butt” next year. 3/6/09	Our new friend Titillating Tenaya trots before us again today. … OK. 3/4/09	Apparently modern technology allows a humble young man in Wisconsin to fire a shot clear over the Atlantic Ocean and get the attention of a similarly humble man over in London, England. Wow. How cool is that? … Maverick read Uncle Gibby’s Day One of the 2009 AEE post, and immediately began his serious efforts at getting up the 247AdultStars version of the events. For our part we get to see them both, naturally, as we pretty much use any excuse we can to get it up. (As it were.) 3/1/09	Back when he first started 247AdultStars.com Maverick began by working closely with an English performer named KazB. In fact, they worked so closely together that Mav even created an entire section in 247 called “Kaz Picks” where Kaz did exactly that. Now back in the early days of the site, Kaz always “picked” various sexy women to perform with her, but as you’ve probably seen in your own lives, women change as they get older. As we see the Ides of March on the horizon here, Kaz has apparently broadened her own horizons, to, well, not include a “broad” — as it were. 3/29/08	And now for something completely different. … OK. So those of you that have been members for some time probably realize that one could use that particular sentence referring to just about anything we’ve ever done around here. But we did make a conscious effort this time. After our last “topless girls pretending to wrestle” effort, we decided we should do something as far away from that “fluff” as possible. It didn’t take very long for someone to say, “Well, D.Minion on any of the Neo_ sets would fit that bill perfectly.” We decided this to be perfectly true, and so we’re heading into this particular “matrix” with DM on the set of Neo_Pornographia 4 – because why in the world would we start with number one, after all? Oh, and the person that came up with this idea has now received a very public “Thank You” for the suggestion, which turns out to be a lot cheaper than giving them an actual raise in salary. 3/28/07	Usually when we go through 200+ photographs from a single post there isn’t one particular one that catches our eye as the “perfect” one to use as the little thumbnail on this page. Today we have found one. Now the story of Through Her Eyes, Day Two, contains all of the wonderful insights and photographs you’ve come to expect from D.Minion, but it also has a slight caveat at the end of the story before we let you see “everything” she has to offer. Of course if you don’t really want to see everything D.Minion has to offer (or you don’t know what “caveat” means), then you’re probably not a member here anyway. Enjoy. 3/24/07	Technology takes a giant leap forward today. Or maybe it just stumbles blindly in hopes that everything will turn out alright. Sometimes it’s really hard to tell with things like technology. We do know some things for certain, however. Michael has again graciously offered up the DVD Gallery from the upcoming Meet Heather. And we do have our first forays into the honestly baffling world of HD work on the web. We also know that Heather is the reigning Penthouse Pet of the Year. But we’re not really sure what her name is now, if you can believe that. With her contract on hiatus from Ninn Worx while she fulfills her Penthouse responsibilities it seems fairly certain that it’s “Vandeven” – at least for awhile. We figure we’ll just call her “Heather V.” until all the big boys figure it out. If you can avoid conflict completely you can usually just pretend it’s not there. It’s kind of peaceful in our world. 3/5/07	If you’re a really, really good photographer, sometimes you like to take unusual pictures. And sometimes hanging around a porn set seems unusual to some people. And sometimes those things go together. Although not solving the mystery from a couple of days ago, at least we’ve found an interesting diversion while we continue our investigation. As a wise man once said, “You’ll be more successful if you always just play the hand you’re dealt.” Or maybe he said, “Always fold and walk away before you’re completely broke.” We’re not sure. 3/26/06	It depends on how you look at today’s first Ninn Worx Weekend in too long a time. It could be a deep and philosophical commentary on legal trends spanning the globe, particularly as those issues pertain to technology. Or it could be a thinly-veiled excuse to look at Anais, Georgia Adair, Angel Cassidy, Mia Smiles, and a handful of their female porn friends doing … well, what female porn friends do. Consider it Unbridled – in various fashion, and then just enjoy it. That’s what we’d do. Who cares about lawyers anyway? 3/19/06	You know how sometimes you get these “technological advances” that turn out not to be so helpful? Well, for some inexplicable reason we looked up the “Word Count” in D.Minion’s article On the Set of Fem: Diva and Lost Angels: Olivia Del Rio before we started to compile it for you members. This was not a smart thing to do. We have no idea what possessed us. All we accomplished was scaring ourselves to death, and then we still had to do the work anyway. If we hadn’t, you see, you’d have missed the 245 pictures of Anais, Dee, Olivia, and even Kristal Summers (albeit in a “crew” capacity). On the other hand you would have missed the pictures of horses, cows, old farm equipment, and a couple of Port O’ Potties too, so you can look at this two ways at least. Still, the beautiful women (and Eric Masterson, Carol) probably make up for it. At the very least you’ll learn that city-people are funny. And if you think about it logically, you’re probably going to want to pinch Wendy pretty much whatever she’s wearing (or not); on a good day, she might let you too. 3/11/06	Well, a lot of things have happened to the Risqué clients over the years, but oddly enough (particularly considering their vocation) this is the first time we can remember that one of them got pregnant. We’ve had a few marriages over the years, but this will be the first offspring – at least that we know about. Now that doesn’t really have anything to do with the Night Calls post today, but we did want to publicly congratulate Juli Ashton, and wish her the best.
