2/28/08	We’re reaping the rewards of the UK extension today with a new gallery on KazB. We thought we’d mention it here too, just in case people aren’t yet used to looking at the 247AdultStars main page yet. Maverick uses a more traditional approach with his site, that being essentially just adding new gallery (or video) links to a star’s "main" page to update. Apparently not everyone on the web talks as much as we do. Go figure. That’s hardly the only non-traditional thing about us if you really want to know the truth. 2/23/08	Granted we’re paying a not-so-subtle tribute to yet another UK influence with our "Stray Cats" references. On the upside, though, our particular bent on this musical reference involves our own friends Kristal Summers, Georgia Adair, and Dee (which is way better than a bunch of hairy, sweaty guitar players from England). If you think about it, the Web has made microculture potentially profitable enough to ensure its survival, and Cam Shows are living, breathing, sexual proof of the theory. 2/19/08	Well the Geeks around here are all abuzz about some new Flash Video player they’re designing, or working with, or modifying … or some such silliness, and the rest of us have been forced to watch our own Kristal Summers in a bunch of her recent releases as we try to come to terms with where exactly the term MILF came from and why anyone is surprised that women over 22 years old can be sexy. Well we found out that although we’ve talked a lot about Kristal’s first Award Winning MILF movie, we never actually ran D.Minion’s On the Set Piece, and we figured we should do that one before we do the next ones. … And by the way, we’re renewing our public offer to "do" Kristal any time she offers too – purely in the interests of scientific research of course. 2/16/08	We actually aim to be a little puzzling today, which stands in direct contrast to our usual method of simply being inadvertently so. On the upside, the effort involves our old buddy Becca and a couple of adult "novelties" (which have nothing to do with ice cream, oddly enough). There’s also yet another Sybian in sight, which seems to work well for some people – even those presumably not riding one while they read. 2/14/08	Well Update Phase 1.5 has gone off with nary a hitch. But seeing as how we’re now hitching Mav’s 247AdultStars.com venture into the members’ area of our humble presence here, Valentine’s Day seemed like the perfect day to launch Our European Purview. 2/8/08	Big news on the horizon usually means silly amounts of code work in the office. And we can assure you that it takes a special kind of person to spend hours and hours tweaking miniscule amounts of code to the point where when people see it, they simply say, "Cool." … And the name for that special kind of person is weird in case you’re curious. Consequently while the alleged boss dude was distracted, someone from the Blue Collar Comedy writing corps obviously infiltrated our ranks as we were working on the next installment of the AEE 2008 review. Somebody better settle that writers’ strike in Hollywood pretty quick because those folks can be a bad influence on the young and impressionable it seems. On the upside, "Porn Princess" Christina and Redish will be happy, because they can finally know that all of their "stuff" will be shipping out this week. 2/3/08	We were going to post the final episode of the "Pink Makes Dee Think" Cam Show to celebrate the final day of the 2007 NFL season. … But then someone here pointed out that this is not in fact technically the last day of the season. We won’t mention whom, since that might be unnecessarily critical, but we will say that her name rhymes with "See Em" (if you note that we haven’t used an apostrophe in that second word). So we’re making it "Episode Two" and we’re trying to be nice about it. Still, has anyone actually watched a Pro Bowl in the last 15 or 20 years? … Well we haven’t either. … Basically we all know that the Pro Bowl just serves as methadone for football addicts. … Our final advice would be to just wait a day or so on this and watch the Super Bowl. And if you don’t like football, just do what "DM" does: Read a book during the game and look up to watch the commercials. (OK. 2/1/08	In an uncharacteristic burst of logic around here, we actually went searching for the "follow up" report on yesterday’s bit. We’ve heard that history is doomed to repeat itself, which seems nothing if not sad taken in conjunction with the core issue today. Fortunately, it doesn’t seem to repeat all that often, which makes the "head in the sand" people feel better about life. For the rest of us, we also have a peek into the early "pro" life of Exclusive Performer Julie Meadows. 10/28/07	We learn about money and naked British women today. Or maybe we just read about the process of Maverick coordinating a photo shoot for naked women utilizing almost no money. … Or (and this would be the more likely option, truth be told) we just look at a bunch of naked pictures of Kaz B and Masie and we pretty much ignore everything else. 10/25/07	Relationships are tricky animals. And relationships in the porn industry can be downright treacherous. Of course that doesn’t keep them from happening, and thus nothing keeps us from talking about them. Of course none of this technically has a great deal to do with Inari Vachs creating some “Pier Pressure” of her own, but we do find a way to work in Winkin’, Blinkin’, and Odd. We actually open with a brief reality check as we’re poised on the regular American Political Proving Ground, and eventually we even transition into some heretofore not publicly known intrigue involving Juli Ashton’s Night Calls, her original cohort, Doria Rone, and Playboy TV’s foray into the “Let’s Make a Movie About Our Series” business. Not to give too much away, and we’ll tell you right up front that we haven’t honestly seen the necessary sales or income reports required to be absolutely sure, but we’re thinking that The Simpsons Movie probably made more money. 10/11/07	As you read the varied historical perspective we’ve provided as accompaniment for a title called a capella, you’ll probably pick up on the irony. 10/9/07	We’ve done it to ourselves again. We don’t really have that many people working around here and everyone seems to be in the middle of one of those “Mega-Posts” that take a lot of time and organization. Consequently, if we ever make it through the queue, we’re quite certain you’ll be fascinated and intrigued … or maybe just entertained. We can live with either. Until then, we’ve taken a moment to appreciate Dee’s breasts, which if you’ve ever wondered turns out to be a dandy way to motivate people in the workplace. And we certainly have no idea what a “Neu Wave Hooker” might be, presumably because we’re much to old. 8/29/07	Just “Dip me in chocolate and throw me to the Lesbians” advises one “novelty” product D.Minion and Bijou highlight in their account of the recently completed 2007 Adult Novelty Manufacturers Expo. As you might expect while some of the products are certainly “novel” – and there were the occasional porn stars hanging around – like most of these shows we left truly wondering about the capacity of human being to devise objects that primarily involve sex. We also wonder what Freud would think of all of this, but fortunately we keep those philosophical ruminations to ourselves today. 8/28/07	Well we’ve been off working on a “real” movie which we’ll obviously tell you about when it’s done. Suffice it to say so far that it seems much like we envisioned, where they use “gore” in places we use beautiful naked women. All in all, beautiful naked women are more interesting. Which is why, by the way we’ve decided to offer up a little bit of Kristal Summers Then and Now as a fine way to venture back to more comfortable surroundings. Apparently D.Minion had some predictable dreams in our absence and they seem to have involved Kristal, which many of our dreams do as it turns out. You have lots and lots of video with a Kristal Cam Show Replay, and you have a couple of photo sets that just so happened to come almost exactly five years apart. 8/14/07	Woo-Hoo! The NFL is back with us, albeit with a month of basically meaningless games, but it’s still better to win than lose. Now for all you purists out there, the 2007 season may have technically started before Monday Night Football last night, but if you’re from Denver it didn’t. And if you’re from the San Francisco area, like bradcom, for example, you probably didn’t enjoy last night as much as the people from Denver did, even though it was a meaningless game. Fortunately, people from Denver are always supremely gracious in victory, and would never, ever, berate a friend whose team lost. … Well, we certainly wouldn’t do it before the games actually counted. … The point here being of course that apparently we missed an eventful wildlife trip that our newest member Bijou took. If we weren’t so happy with pro football being back, we might think Bijou’s novice take on our industry showed a little sarcasm, truth be told. As it turns out, though, we were talking to SteveD (in Colorado, btw) during the game and he mentioned a writing style he personally enjoys. I hope he hasn’t created a monster. Well, in a blazing exhibition of efficiency, D.Minion has already completed her On The Set piece for last week’s shoot, even before we set off again for the “Empire” of the high desert outside of Los Angeles. While last week we had to suffer through Sophia Lynn and Renna Ryann (and a few dudes, but they don’t really count), now this week we’re apparently shooting another All-Female Festival so it looks to be even more grueling. 11/19/06	Naturally most of you will be way too busy today watching football to see any of the insights that Maverick finally decided to give us (along with the “documentary” video naturally) from his last g/g shoot. Still, since they only have “that other kind of football” over there in the U.K., though, today seemed like a good time to give those dern foreigners (which is pretty much what we call everyone that doesn’t watch football, regardless of their place of domicile) something to do. The rest of you can catch it on Monday after work. No. … That won’t work because of Monday Night Football on ESPN, and since Thursdays are now gone starting this week with new night games on the NFL Network, you’re pretty much going to have to fit it in on Tuesday or Wednesday, or just make an excuse for being late for your weekend dates. 11/15/06	Oh, goodness we have many, many pictures today. We’re off for a couple of days to attend a Digital Video Convention down in LA, and we thought we’d give you a little to look at while we’re gone. Silly us. Maybe we should have thought this through a little more carefully before we plopped down some 300-odd (and some very odd) photos to go through in Days Two and Three of D.Minion’s typically epic coverage of the shoot. Ah well, it is the rest of the Aperture shoot, and so it is Heather Vuur, and Marie Luv, and Daisy Marie … and yada, yada. Sometimes people over-complicate things in life. 11/10/06	Ah-Hah! We have found the solution to the temptation to run off at the mouth/keyboard that we sometimes see around here. If you just limit the day to one scene, and then you place it in a location that’s functionally impossible for D.Minion to get to, you actually end up with a manageable amount of text and pictures that now define Day One on the set of Aperture. Wow. … Still, we see two sort of major problems with this. First, no human being we’ve ever met can claim any sort of influence over how Michael will do anything at all associated with his movies, and second, the trouble with finding solutions to temptations seems historically to be that the pesky temptations simply mutate into something a lot more formidable. 11/9/06	Sometimes things get lost in translation. That happens. … It doesn’t often happen, however, between the U.S. and the U.K. it would seem. Other than the odd “knickers” reference and a “fag” here or there confusion, we can really communicate fairly well we’ve always thought. Granted, we’ll never understand blood sausage, and although rugby has its appeal, to us a “cricket” will always be a harmless little bug that makes pleasant noises in the evening. Still, overall, we pretty much understand each other. Consequently, our scientists ought to be able to communicate just fine as well, right? Well obviously something got mucked up in the trek across the Atlantic because although we all know that carrots are good for our eyesight, the way that we get that nifty vitamin A into our systems somewhat differs from how they appear to over in Maverick’s land. 11/7/06	Another Ninn Worx shoot is in the books, or on the HD Tapes, or whatever, and we’re back in a much more peaceful land. Our favorite crew t-shirt of this shoot read: I’m like a Superhero – with no powers or motivation. That may not excuse much, but as an explanation we found it wonderful. Speaking of not having excuses, GO OUT AND VOTE TODAY. We’ve provided a little visual humor on which you can ruminate during your travels to the polls, and we don’t even care how you vote. It is most important that you do so, however. Pictures are just very brief moments in time, and your actions today have a chance to be a little more than that. OK.
