11/30/08	Ah, the holiday season begins, and we’ve all the more reason to party with porn stars. As it turns out, though, even way over in “Merry Ol’ England” one needs to be a bit careful about distinguishing between what people say and what we can actually expect. On the other hand, when Mav attended such a learning experience over in London earlier this month, he at least got to spend some time with beautiful women he’d previously not met, and he got to drink a lot of beer. In keeping with our own traditional spirit of Giving Thanks, in our own unique way, we’re offering up our own Best Wishes to all of you before we retreat to post-gluttony stupor. 11/26/08	Post Scripts have never been a big part of the risqué site, and by that we mean that to our knowledge we’ve never done one before, but a degree of uncharacteristic efficiency in the office mandated the approach today. Before D.Minion had technically completed her story of Shayla, Juli, et. al. in Head Trip an adventurous little beaver had gone ahead and compiled the report for upload and then posted it. Consequently we’ve found ourselves in the position of needing to provide the aforementioned Post Script as a solution. 11/24/08	After many, many moons Minion Maverick has meandered back. During his hiatus forced by the ever-so-capable and friendly ISP company in the U.K., though, he did manage to cook up a collection of newly refined skills to aid his web presentations. … Sadly, he did seem to forget all the basic steps he used to actually make posts work, but after some time (and perhaps some recreational taunting) we did manage to get Mav’s latest KazB Bonanza off the ground. Interestingly we did have some “parts left over” when we finished and not being ones to waste leftover naked lady bits, we’ve included them for you here. … Three weeks away and he can’t remember a thing. 11/8/08	Pundits say that this past Presidential Election will have marked historical significance because “you will always remember where you were when Barack Obama became President.” Now we’re including this bit of information not because this pundit theory actually demonstrates any sort of keen insight, but rather because you just don’t get to say the word “pundit” very often in life, and so you should always take advantage of the opportunity when it presents itself. 11/5/08	Well, that was an unusual election, right? Most of us around here have lived long enough to understand the surreal feeling that swept the nation when the results actually became final last night, and for the younger members of our team we released an Official Memo that covers their situation quite succinctly: They have to be quiet until they’re at least 30. We’ll cover the political insights that surfaced on the set last week in a future post, be we will say that Charlie Laine had some of the most logical takes on our socio-economic position, gay rights, and even religion in general. Gosh it was good to talk to Charlie. … Naturally that got us to thinking about the dear lass, and that got us to remembering old friends in general, and that got us to today’s diversion to all the “What the heck happened to the Republicans, and whose fault is it?” discussions littering the networks and the web. 6/28/08	You know, when we called Maverick yesterday to joyously tell him about the new Kristal Summers post from his trip here, he said, “Hey! 6/22/08	“Titillating” seems to be a reasonable goal around here, and sometimes we even manage to accomplish that without resorting to the obvious pun references the word implies. Theoretically we set out today to allow you members to see a much more visual distinction between the “Las” Vegas Adult Convention and the “Los” Angeles Adult Convention. Now the LA part this year involved trips to (count ’em) three new restaurants, though, including one rather lavish buffet, albeit perhaps not up to Las Vegas standards. We will see. 6/15/08	Sadly, as a result of the recent major earthquake, one of the giant pandas at the Wolong Research Center in China lost its life. As do people throughout the world the children of the land love the pandas, prompting one distraught youngster to question which fine animal passed away. “Who died, papa? Which one was it? Papa, papa, who?” … At least this was how one of the major networks here reported the news. Probably because of time constraints the network cut away before airing the father’s reply, but we’re pretty sure it went something along the lines of “Papa, papa who? Mao Mao.” (… And if you know how to pronounce the most famous leader of the People’s Republic of China to date, and know a little American popular music history, well, it won’t make that the most impressive joke you’ve ever heard, but it will help a lot with understanding it.) … Fortunately today we’re taking a video look at our old friend Cheyenne Silver, and we’re not even mentioning a thing about natural disasters anymore. Still, it’s good to remain at least somewhat aware of world events, and it is Father’s Day, so we had to at least mention dads out there. (Besides, they might know The Beach Boys in China.) 6/10/08	Well, we have to start somewhere, so we might as well start with the artistic angle, right? Or maybe we should start with the bizarre. That’s always fun. … Or we could show off some fancy Photoshop collages too; that would be nice, as would a custom video segment showing off the general weirdness of our existence. Those are always popular. … So that’s how we started bright and early this morning, and then we figured out that we’re in LA, and we just got back from Erotica LA …. And that pretty much ties together all these things. OK. So it’s not earth-shattering logic, but we’re really a lot better after a few cups of coffee. 6/5/08	Ah, but we love the BTS footage. We find it a wonderful way to really see not so much what movie sets are like (because even if you’ve never been on one you’ve probably seen enough clips on television to pretty much know what they’re like) but because this type of footage gives the most accurate capture of the moods of the actors and actresses at a precise moment in time. (And you’ve probably seen enough clips on television to know that those little moods are nothing if not volatile too.) As is his now tradition, Maverick has also put together some screen grabs for Carol, since she still can’t see video on the web, as most of you probably know even if you’re not a member. By our estimation, Mav’s either a very nice man, has a not-so-secret crush on Carol … or he just thinks it would be very handy to marry an American. … For today, color us cynical and entertained. 5/5/08	It’s “Cinco De Mayo” which technically means “the fifth of May” but apparently it’s a reason to celebrate. Still, it did seem a reason to celebrate some degree of multi-cultural happiness, not that we’ve ever really needed much of a reason to do that. 4/28/08	When the folks at the office learned that the Denver Broncos drafted guys with the names Eddie Royal, Carlton Powell, and Spencer Larson some people around here said it sounded like we’d have to start serving high tea at half time or something. … As it turns out, some people aren’t nearly as funny as they think they are. … On the other hand delving into a review of D.Minion spending time with Sean Michaels and his prodigious – um – persona on a porn set will probably be just as funny as you’d think it would be. 4/27/08	Well, we’re back from an odd combination of conventions down in L.A. again. This time the folks at “Fangoria” and the other folks at “Adult-Con” were kind enough to schedule their events at the same time, albeit at opposite ends of the Convention Center. Oddly the women at the horror gathering seemed to dress rather like the women at the porn convention, although they did seem to wear a lot more black and have a lot more holes poked in their faces – presumably for decorative purposes. We’re not sure we really understand that particular aspect of the sub-culture, but we do have D.Minion working diligently on explaining it all to us. We should mention that we’re not making any promises that this will in fact help, though. Until then (and as we’re working to wade through the “queue” here), we managed to uncover Mav’s still shoot that he somehow forgot to include with the “Cam Show” video entry, so maybe that will help. 4/20/08	Ah. Mr. U.K. seems to be poking around again, back from his sojourns getting various British women to disrobe and otherwise occupy themselves for his cameras. 4/16/08	Alicia Rhodes Well Traveled. … Hmm. Rarely do we have a title that as effectively conveys the topic being addressed as this one does. OK, so technically Maverick didn’t literally use this title, but he’s just starting to seek out his investigative journalist muse, so we’re cutting him a little slack. And if his “investigation” actually reflects much more of a “personal reflection” point of view than meetings with any sort of Deep Throat character, and his role as a “journalist” really comes down to simply writing those thoughts down, well what’s the harm in the Grand Perspective? Besides, if you think about it, you’ll see that Alicia certainly reflects one sort of deep throat character. There’s that. Also, we get to admire a refreshingly different kind of porn star, and we get to learn about European geography – maybe. Things could be worse. … Life is short. Why stress over details? 4/12/18	We interrupt our regularly scheduled chaos to bring you a bit of insight on current events in adult. Now we don’t do this very often, as there are scads of web sites out there that stake “news” as their particular niche on the web, but sometimes a situation will just throw one low and outside, and you just have to swing for the fence. (Don’t you just love a good baseball metaphor?) We could tell you the topic for today, in fact that would be a completely logical thing to do right now, but honestly we can only take so much “convention” in one sitting. We can at least tell you that we’re using the unusually beautiful “Tall Goddess” and the captivating Renee Perez to illustrate some of our finer points – all the while showing off some of theirs. Also, if you point out the exact topic in an introductory area like this, people can go back and figure out when that happened, thus “dating” your post in the future. 4/9/08	D.Minion must have been bored last weekend, because she apparently spent a whole bunch of time watching XXX movies. Either that, or we missed one hell of a party over at her place. 4/3/08	Some video projects that we do for the web turn out to be a whole lot more “difficult” than we would have thought they’d be when we put them into the queue.
