9/29/25	Most of us have had some really good friends that we just sort of lost touch with over the years as life took us in different directions. A great many of those friendship probably existed in school, truth be told, mostly because we tend to go through those years together with a core group — but also because when you grow up you realize that most people at the office are either dicks, idiots, or both. If, however, you have the same sort of remembrances from your school friends as does the group in our show finale, well, you may have lost touch, but dang don’t those memories rock?

9/27/25	Most of us (maybe) have fairly horrible memories of vacations as a child. Seems like mom and dad were always fighting, and there was lots of tension about getting all the details — and the kids — all together so that we could rush off being miserable in order to get to whatever destination and relax — dammit! … Now as adults we get to bring in modern sensibilities that make life ever-so-much better, focusing on the JOURNEY, not the DESTINATION. That summarizes our approach while D.Minion spends time on vacation, at least. … Find the perfect tequila? Now that seems like a journey we can embrace.
9/26/25	To put it plainly, it takes a healthy ego to make your career as on-camera talent in adult movies. Just imagine if you had to do your job completely naked. All day. Every day. Even without the sexual aspect, just the whole nude thing scares the bejeezus out of most of us. (We like to keep our bejeezus safely buttoned up, thank you very much.) … Although not originally intended as such, certainly, as we continue to look for lost vibrators, we also see evidence of the particular risk males face in this environment. If you find yourself not up to the task, as it were, we can all pretty much tell. You young bucks just remember that sometimes it can be darned handy to have an old professional around to save the day.

9/21/25	Most of us probably tend to believe that we strive to be receptive to the needs of our romantic partners. The most successful relationships may indeed depend upon both parties making a defined attempt to put the happiness of the other before their own. Granted, men are pigs, and thus conventional wisdom would indicate that the women do quite a bit more sacrificing than does the “thinking with their dicks” crowd. Given our current situation, though, a considerable number of women and men see this coordination as both reasonable and even preferable. Even those, though, might reach a turning point beyond which they will draw a line. We consider that logical barrier today, albeit with tongue firmly in (someone else’s) cheek.
9/20/25	Have you ever found yourself thinking that if we only knew about those pivotal moments in our lives as they were happening, it would have made it a whole lot easier to decide which path we ought to take? Instead, we look back years — sometimes many years — later and think, “Golly. Perhaps I really should have given it just a tad more thought before I jumped off that particular bridge.” … On the other hand, the unexpected keeps life interesting — although admittedly occasionally scary. Come to think of it, we tended to consider Cassidy in exactly the same fashion.

8/15/25	Making movies in general tends to be a heck of a lot of fun. Making movies set in a time period other than the modern day one, though, can really ramp up the excitement. No matter what you hear, nobody really outgrows the joy of playing dress-up, and when you make a “period piece” (or a science fiction or fantasy movie), everyone seems to enjoy it just a little bit more. Granted, often you will hear actors complaining, wondering aloud how people ever actually wore clothes like that, but they still have fun. Well, everyone has fun except for the producer, who will now be experiencing a wardrobe budget several times higher than usual. … As our parody involving the stolen vibrator continues, though, we do not really mind. 7/4/25	Perhaps the song which most exemplifies almost all days in our industry might be “Time of My Life” — from a movie with an entirely appropriate title, oddly enough. That said, even in really fun jobs, not every day can be ice cream with rainbow sprinkles. Regardless of our chosen career, most of us have at one point or another in our lives suddenly realized the weight of some choice we have made, and nobody has ever thought, “Oh, great! More weight!” … Still, one needs to view life on balance, and given that perspective, it’s probably a lot better to look like Gemma Massey than not. As her spy story concludes today, we do not find ourselves particularly worried about her, actually. Currently we have begun a search for more rainbow sprinkles. 7/2/25	One of the great things about this job comes from being able to do something fun and different pretty much every day. Like remember when Twitter was Twitter, and people would Tweet things? These days, of course, everything sounds like it should be a part of our industry, which we don’t mind, of course, but it’s not nearly as fun. Well, we decided to have fun with How Tweet It Is this time around, and the fact that we were technically dealing with text messages instead of tweets did not bother us in the slightest. Honestly, working up a good sense of indifference might be your best defense these days. … Also, it’s not too early to start thinking about the Vegas convention in January. 6/27/25	You may have noticed that we have been hitting the 247AdultStars remasters atypically hard lately. (Or you may simply have been thinking, “Hey! Euro-Babes!! Nice!!!” That would have been a logical response too.) Well, there has been method to this madness, presuming one considers this crazy of course. You see, there was a time when Summer of Chantelle rolled out over a few glorious months during the hottest time of year in the Northern Hemisphere. Now Maverick did not ask specifically that we repeat this raucous fun in a similar time-frame, but he’s British, and they’re altogether too polite, as we know. Still, in a manner of homage to our Dear Friend, we plan on doing just that. As a beginning, we can let you know that the previous AEE with Chantelle (celebrated in our Summer of Chantelle) was such a wonderful event that one of our eldest members has never again returned to a convention. His opinion as he departed was that we could never top that as a finale for his annual trips. You will need to draw your own conclusions, but that will be an exceedingly fun task.

Seriously, who wants to be Goody-Two-Shoes all the time anyway? Heck, some of the most fun you can have does not require any shoes at all.

6/21/25	As we welcome in the first full day of summer, things do indeed seem to be heating up around the country — and we’re not just talking about the air temperature outside. Having lived through the same last 100+ days in the U.S. as everyone else here, it occurs to us that some people may need a bit more in the way of political education than they have had a chance to learn simply by being on the planet a long time. You can sum up the logic quickly, but honestly it may take a lifetime to be at peace with it. First, no matter who wins an election, fairly nearly half the population will believe that the world will soon be coming to an end. Second, no amount of whining, or yelling, or bemoaning, or even protesting will make the other side go, “Oops! Our bad. We’ll change now. You’re right.“ … Nope. Only one thing will make it so the other side will be sad next time: VOTING. We have thoughtfully provided a recent example. … Now our example happens to include Shayla LaVeaux and Kristal Summers naked on video, so while you’re getting ready for the next election, you might as well be doing something fun. Depending upon your politics, those feelings can be hard to come by. (As it were.)

6/17/25	Any general contractor can tell you that coordinating a group of independent subs tends to be the most cost-efficient way to accomplish a relatively large amount of work in the least amount of time. As with most theories, though, when things do not go according to a well-honed plan, they can spin out of control very quickly, leaving the poor general contractor to wonder whether or not it would have been better to simply have gone with a potentially slower, but ultimately less expensive plan. In basic terms, this analogy explains how Hollywood Portraiture ended up as a feature here on Risqué today. On the upside, it might technically be possible to have too much Mia Malkova, but we’d likely need imaginary numbers to do that calculation.
6/15/25	Every so often in our industry, you will run across a title where even the normal — not to mention quite massive — suspension of disbelief becomes difficult. People have spent hundreds (more likely thousands) of hours trying to come up with a “hook” that will make their release stand out in a pool of … well, usually altogether too interchangeable bodily fluids. On occasion, even we will be stumped, and thus we end up with things like Almost Jailbait, etc. which provides both accuracy as well as editorial comment. We love that.

6/13/25	What better way can there be to celebrate a perfectly safe Friday the 13th than to spend it with beautiful but deadly trained spy/assassins? You know that feeling when your heart drops into your stomach even as your brain still struggles with the reality of this new and entirely unexpected situation? Think about like, say, you have disrobed in your room gleefully, and as you verily sprint toward your bed your little toe happens to crush up against the mattress frame, or if you happen to be one of those fancy people with a little bench at the foot of your bed, into the leg of that. … Yeah, OUCH! and DREAD! at the same time. … Well, so far all the toes remain intact here, but as we were remastering Holly Hollywood and Dee, we suddenly realized that when this originally went live, it did so without any way to get to the 50 extra pictures or the video from the article itself. … So not exactly broken phalanges here, but still a disappointing discovery.
