11/26/05	We have, you may have noticed, perhaps a slight tendency toward the insouciant. Believing fully in the value of the irreverent, though, we’ve nonetheless somehow managed to offend sufficiently few individuals to still be around a full decade after venturing into the now antiquated BBS form of the Internet. Well, things have a tendency to keep moving along, and the value of this retrospective potential spawned the last post of our “Thanksgiving Week, 2005.” We had one remaining D.Minion story for an old compatriot, and we decided this would be a good time to use it. So we did. Hey, once we finally decide something, at least we get right with the program. By the way, if you ever hear us plan on putting up a post every day for a week, no matter what our benevolent intentions, will someone please call a doctor? Someone’s clearly very ill at the office. 11/25/05	So today’s one of those days you’re supposed to be sitting around remembering the 70’s commercial: “I can’t believe I ate the whole thing.” Well, maybe that’s what you’re supposed to be doing. What you’re probably doing is sitting around remembering how many variations on a turkey theme you’re going to have to go through to get rid of all of the leftovers and swearing you’re having pizza for Christmas dinner this year. Enter Taren Steele. Now you really don’t need to say much more than that, as we’ve found it a fairly useful phrase for completely reorganizing whatever train of thought you happen to be on. 11/24/05	Now you’ve got your basic “history” and you’ve got some ever-more-interesting “herstory” today, featuring some of the very early days of a Risqué Business. Now that wouldn’t be all that captivating perhaps, but we do get a chance to show off the early work of Alexis DeVell and Shayla LaVeaux, although I don’t recall either of them “working” too hard during this particular trip come to think of it. 11/23/05	Michael’s finally got a new home for Ninn Worx, so he’s happy. And when Maverick sees today’s post about Kristal Summers’ Sensitivity Training, he’s going to die, but at least he’ll die happy. And D.Minon’s happy as long as everyone else it happy. And tomorrow we get to see Santa Claus in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, so what’s not to be happy about? 11/22/05	We’re continuing our thankful ways today with a look back at Dee – before she had her own show on Playboy/Spice TV, and before she had her own show twice a week on KSEX. It’s a Night Calls sort of a post, this being rather of the Night Calls 411 variety. You know, we’re even fairly confident that we can think of at least one anonymous, but faithful, member that will be very thankful for these shots of Nikki Nova and her sidekick Crystal Knight. 11/21/05	Well, it’s the beginning of Thanksgiving Week, and so we thought we’d do some giving of thanks this week. We’ve always thought that if you can’t be clever, you can always just be literal. So we’re starting with Julia Ann because quite honestly Julia came to us near to perfect and she moved on just the same way. It would be nice to think that we had a lot to do with Julia’s success over the years, but that’s just not the case. Julia’s seriously one of the most sincere and caring individuals we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with, and the fact that she used to spend time naked over at the house just kind of worked as a bonus over the years. Now if you ever happen to see Julia Ann on tour somewhere, be sure and tell her about all of the nice things we’ve said about her, and then see if she’ll get naked for you. 11/19/05	Oops. Juli Ashton and Tiffany Grannath make a quick appearance today, as we’ve once again been baffled by the “regular” Night Calls schedule that Playboy TV promises. Now the Halloween Episode did provide its predictable wackiness, and D.Minion even got a picture of a naked band member this time around, although before you get too excited we should “note” that it happens to be a male, so his member may not be as interesting as you might imagine. That said, we also snuck a secret bonus from last week, in our typically Maverick attitude around here. 11/6/05	Our “Ninn Worx Weekends” make a stellar return today with its usual bevy of comely lasses, which is really rather funny when you consider that we’re talking about the latest installment of POP. We also debut the appearance of the Existential Comic in what may turn out to be his only appearance in these wonderful pages – not that he’d care much one way or the other. It’s all meaningless anyway, after all. On the upside, Terrell Owens has a lot of time to read today, what with him losing his job and all. He should really think about existentialism as an alternative to his “whining as a professional art form,” don’t you think? It doesn’t take much intellect to figure out which one of these might be the most fun, but let’s just say both are inifinitely preferable to coming to the realization of just how effectively the world can go on in our absence. 11/27/03	Being big fans of irony around here, we take particular pleasure in noting that our Thanksgiving Treat actually comes from a friend across the Atlantic, the place we’re being thankful we left. That said, it remains a wonderful present, and we wanted even non-members to be able to appreciate it. Being cheap, however, we took all the images and compressed them into one for the free side. You’ll actually be able to appreciate them more more if you look at our Maverick Appeal, we’re thinking. Oh, and we noticed a couple of mistakes too, and we’ll get him to correct them if you’re kind about letting us know. This was a hell of a lot of work, as are most things that seem easy at a glance. Maybe that’s the secret to the kind of happy and successful life you can be thankful for: Work hard, but don’t feel you have to make everyone around you aware of it. 11/25/03	We’re going out on a limb a bit today, as we’re giving Maverick his present a little early. That said, however, only the really, really cool people have the NFL Direct Ticket on DirecTV, and so some you poor souls out there may have some moments when there are no football options for you today. That just makes you kind of tear up, doesn’t it? Well, we decided to be kind, and do our part for the less priviledged, and so we published yet another Ninn Worx Weekend, looking back at our lovely Georgia Adair, and the more and more omnipresent Dee. 11/14/03	Having been motivated by yesterday’s interesting, but technically inferior fornication photography, we thought we’d debut a new series here (hopefully, if we can pin her down) and let you see our first “Wendy Works Weekend.” Don’t worry: We haven’t replaced the Ninn Worx (now you get the pun) variety, as they’ll return next week, but this is Wendy’s week, and we’re making sure everyone knows that. Before we begin, we thought we’d pass along some professional advice for all of you budding “Art” and “Figure” Photographers out there. It’s important to have good equipment and accessories, and it’s even more important to be able to use that equipment to its potential. However, the most important ingredient to a successful nude shoot in our opinion would be having a Devilishly Sexy model on whom to practice your wares. Oh, and to save those of you that might have to look it up some time, a “cretin” is a person whose brain did not fully develop. This will become important later. 11/29/02	Now that the Christmas season can officially begin, despite what Southern California retailers have been thinking since before Halloween, we’re taking a moment to appreciate the time of year for its emphasis on retrospect. Words like “tradition,” and “history,” and other such creche phrases (sorry, Lon) bring about a peacefulness, and a comfort with one’s place in the cosmos. Were that not so we would never have the nerve to draw attention to what a half-decade in Risqué evolution has meant. Each of us represents the sum total of our experiences, and the people with whom we’ve come in contact. Were it not for everything that happened in our past, none of us would be in precisely this position today. So we’re showing off a good bit of our past, and hoping sincerely you forgive us our graphic transgressions of the day. (Honestly, some of the graphics are down-right ugly.) If you do nothing else, take a look at what Nikita can draw with a trackball; these were some extraordinary women in wonderful times. 11/26/02	We’ve just decided to stop trying to make any sense of what we do. After putting together what in retrospect turns out to have been one of our largest single posts ever, we noticed that as a technical matter, this subject rests at best tangentially related to us. Still, when people catch our eye (our experienced and critical eye, actually), it seems worth note. Consequently, we created “A Stormy Brewing on the Horizon” and put it up for you. Hey, Stormy’s funny, and y’all know that’s our favorite characteristic around here. Sexy, willing to get naked, and funny: You’re a shoo-in for accolades. 11/21/02	Contrary to popular belief, the most powerful person on the planet is not the President of the United States. The President has “checks and balances” and a whole bunch of folks that look over each and every decision, mostly trying to see what personal benefit they can get, but looking nonetheless. The most powerful person in the world is the cable guy. With almost no verifiable supervision, this person (and we admit “guy” may be “girl” ) determines whether or not your Internet business can actually connect to the Internet. They have evolved the “blank stare” into an art form; they can utter the simple phrase, “Hmmm” with devastating accuracy and result. They control our lives, and we can’t vote them out of office; you can’t really even talk to them without developing a nervous tick in your left eye. Dang. We say all this because FINALLY we can get back to work — four modems, two routers, no less than seven “service calls,” and 42 hours later — but who’s really counting? You know how it is when you clean house and get rid of a lot of things that have been cluttering up the place? Well, that happens in offices too, and so we’re just tidying up.
