11/26/05	We have, you may have noticed, perhaps a slight tendency toward the insouciant. Believing fully in the value of the irreverent, though, we’ve nonetheless somehow managed to offend sufficiently few individuals to still be around a full decade after venturing into the now antiquated BBS form of the Internet. Well, things have a tendency to keep moving along, and the value of this retrospective potential spawned the last post of our “Thanksgiving Week, 2005.” We had one remaining D.Minion story for an old compatriot, and we decided this would be a good time to use it. So we did. Hey, once we finally decide something, at least we get right with the program. By the way, if you ever hear us plan on putting up a post every day for a week, no matter what our benevolent intentions, will someone please call a doctor? Someone’s clearly very ill at the office. 11/25/05	So today’s one of those days you’re supposed to be sitting around remembering the 70’s commercial: “I can’t believe I ate the whole thing.” Well, maybe that’s what you’re supposed to be doing. What you’re probably doing is sitting around remembering how many variations on a turkey theme you’re going to have to go through to get rid of all of the leftovers and swearing you’re having pizza for Christmas dinner this year. Enter Taren Steele. Now you really don’t need to say much more than that, as we’ve found it a fairly useful phrase for completely reorganizing whatever train of thought you happen to be on. 11/24/05	Now you’ve got your basic “history” and you’ve got some ever-more-interesting “herstory” today, featuring some of the very early days of a Risqué Business. Now that wouldn’t be all that captivating perhaps, but we do get a chance to show off the early work of Alexis DeVell and Shayla LaVeaux, although I don’t recall either of them “working” too hard during this particular trip come to think of it. 11/23/05	Michael’s finally got a new home for Ninn Worx, so he’s happy. And tomorrow we get to see Santa Claus in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, so what’s not to be happy about? 11/22/05	We’re continuing our thankful ways today with a look back at Dee – before she had her own show on Playboy/Spice TV, and before she had her own show twice a week on KSEX. It’s a Night Calls sort of a post, this being rather of the Night Calls 411 variety. You know, we’re even fairly confident that we can think of at least one anonymous, but faithful, member that will be very thankful for these shots of Nikki Nova and her sidekick Crystal Knight. 11/21/05	Well, it’s the beginning of Thanksgiving Week, and so we thought we’d do some giving of thanks this week. We’ve always thought that if you can’t be clever, you can always just be literal. So we’re starting with Julia Ann because quite honestly Julia came to us near to perfect and she moved on just the same way. It would be nice to think that we had a lot to do with Julia’s success over the years, but that’s just not the case. Julia’s seriously one of the most sincere and caring individuals we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with, and the fact that she used to spend time naked over at the house just kind of worked as a bonus over the years. Now if you ever happen to see Julia Ann on tour somewhere, be sure and tell her about all of the nice things we’ve said about her, and then see if she’ll get naked for you. 11/19/05	Oops. Juli Ashton and Tiffany Grannath make a quick appearance today, as we’ve once again been baffled by the “regular” Night Calls schedule that Playboy TV promises. Now the Halloween Episode did provide its predictable wackiness, and D.Minion even got a picture of a naked band member this time around, although before you get too excited we should “note” that it happens to be a male, so his member may not be as interesting as you might imagine. That said, we also snuck a secret bonus from last week, in our typically Maverick attitude around here. 11/6/05	Our “Ninn Worx Weekends” make a stellar return today with its usual bevy of comely lasses, which is really rather funny when you consider that we’re talking about the latest installment of POP. We also debut the appearance of the Existential Comic in what may turn out to be his only appearance in these wonderful pages – not that he’d care much one way or the other. It’s all meaningless anyway, after all. On the upside, Terrell Owens has a lot of time to read today, what with him losing his job and all. 4/30/05	We counted 17 separate references to old television theme songs in D.Minion’s story of Carol’s visit to Southern California. We’d actually worry about our sanity, but we’re much too crazy for this kind of deep introspection. Fortunately, the 125 photos from Michael Ninn (who didn’t even meet Carol, by the way) can make up for a lot of blatent silliness. 4/29/05	We get to visit with a bunch of old friends today, and D.Minion’s got 180 pictures and some 3,000-odd words to prove it. She was on the set of The Devinn Lane Show, Part 3: Attack of the Divas a couple of years back, and she got to spend some time with Julia Ann, Dee, Lola and Devinn. (D.Minion should pay us for this job.) By the way, we should state for the record here that, although we haven’t always agreed with her “career” decisions, Devinn Lane has always been beautiful, innovative, daring, and extremely motivated. In short, Devinn Lane is a very good director. She also happens to be wearing one of my favortie shirts during this shoot. “I can only be nice to one person a day. Today is not your day. 4/20/05	Pretty much every day, everyone pretty much has to do something. So today we pretty much figured we’d just spend some time looking at Wanda Curtis. All in all, in our experience, this turns out to be pretty much of a fun thing to do, and so we’re encouraging you to do it too. I don’t know if any of you ever had the opportunity to see Wanda in person, but she looks like a drawing or something. When artists draw their idealized visions of the perfect female form, they generally look like Wanda, actually. If Barbie Dolls had a human incarnation, they would look like Wanda too. 4/17/05	… [DMinion wrote this. 4/15/05	In the movie business, a “side” is a small part of the script that the director intends to record on a particular day. Generally, when the “players” show up in their really groovy (or at least ego-gratifying) trailer room, some nameless person will have placed the sides in the room — most often directly upon the only horizontal seating area in said ego-gratifying room. The point, here, being that sometimes things don’t always turn out the way they “historically” should. In our ongoing efforts to convince Juli to release some of her “owned, albeit heretofore hidden,” footage of Essentially Inari, we’re providing a peek into the past lives of, not only Inari Vachs, but Dee, Kristal Summers, a very happily endowed man, a couple of genuinely nice women from Juli’s past, and even Juli herself. We call it “Old Irony-Sides” … but we’re like that. We would also like to point out that using words like “albeit” and “heretofore” should be at least a misdemeanor in any civilized country. 4/8/05	Well we’re still plowing through Tax Hell, which wouldn’t be as bad if you didn’t have to do it every year, we’re thinking. And as it turns out, although it really, really sucks to move with a broken leg right before Christmas, it’s even worse if you didn’t think about putting all of the various tax document areas from the office and warehouse in one box so you could find it easily when you needed it. (I don’t know why they were always in various places; that was not my job.) So we decided to make up for it with a Night Calls post from Juli and Tiffany’s February Show this year. This one turned out to be extra long, as it included the soon to be more famous Justine, along with a side trip to a Dee dance gig. We decided, “What the heck, let’s put a bunch of exclusive pictures of Anais up too. What, you want to spend more time on the Quicken Category and Transfer List?” Too many numbers in your life make you talk to yourself, you know. 10/29/04	So the newspaper yesterday said, “… the frustrated, fanatic but ever faithful fans of the fatalistic franchise from the Fens gathered ….” You have to be a sports writer, or possibly a webmaster, to get away with that kind of alliteration, but isn’t it “fun?” As Bronco fans around here, we’re well versed in this whole International Humiliation thing, and so our hearts go out to the St. Louis hopefuls out there. Naturally, we congratulate those rooting for the Red Sox, because as every fan of any sport knows, we are each personally responsible for the successes of “Our Team.” Because of our deep empathy for the Cardinal fans, however, we’ve decided to grab a bit of attention from CafeAnais and show everyone a solo scene from her most recent Ninn Epic. It won’t take away the pain of losing so soundly, but it will certainly provide a pleasant distraction. 10/26/04	The weather seems to be rapidly moving colder in much of the country, and so we thought we’d do something a little different today, so you have an excuse to stay inside. 10/24/04	Today’s Ninn Worx Weekend is even more dazzling than usual. In fact, we liked the contribution from Angel Cassidy’s latest movie so much that we decided to run the story even before you can even buy the DVD. (Sorry, DM.) 10/21/04	If you think about it, the term “Rain-Aid” sounds like a Willie Nelson concert. Fortunately, thinking about this issue does not constitute the important part of today’s insight. Actually, you might find it a lot more interesting to contemplate Juli Ashton’s Pocket Rocket, as seen through the eyes (well, and other parts) of Dee and Anais during one of their cam shows. There seems to be a lot going on with Anais these days, thanks to the bumbling of some executives we won’t name over at the company that distributes Ninn Worx’ pictures, and if you needed any more proof that we should just put Dee in charge of everything, you need only look at these pictures … If everyone just did what they are good at, life would be much simpler. Actually she might think about someone larger than Dee deliver them for her next time. It’s a good thing it wasn’t bee season on the last set of Naked Hollywood, or D.Minion’s story might have had a different ending. 10/5/04	We took some time to watch the Vice Presidential debate tonight, as we’re sure all of you did, being fine, upstanding, citizens and all. (Those of you that live out of the country are excused from this duty. Be thankful.) Tom Brokaw said that Dick Cheney reminded him of George Forman. Other than being grilled by his opponent, I must confess that I didn’t draw the connection. Dick Cheney did, however, remind us a lot of Grandpa Munster which would have made the voting “choice” easy except for the fact that John Edwards seemed just a bit too much like Wally Cleaver. Fortunately in America we can make our own decisions, so it might be best to decide to hold off on major, potentially life-changing, decisions and check out the propoganda videos and pictures from Georgia’s newest Michael Ninn movie instead. 10/1/04	Tinker called this morning, and when I answered the phone she said, “Did you happen to find a piece of American cheese in the driveway?” Thinking that this was a lot like, “Do you by any chance happen to have six fingers on your left hand?” I responded logically with, “Do you always start conversations this way?” Now why this happened turns out to be not nearly as important as the 189 pictures from Anais’ latest Ninn Worx feature, Faith: In the Garden of Shadows, Book 2. Throw in the fact that most of the early morning discussions centered almost entirely on politics, and you’ll see why we figured “American Cheese” just seemed perfect as a topic for the day.
