6/30/07	It may seem hard to believe, but we always read and (mostly) listen to the member emails that come in. Now we can’t say we always follow the “advice” since some of the “suggestions” seem to be physically impossible, but some of them are actually nice, and those we tend to pay attention to. We also like giving friends a semi-public chance to “vent” when life has given them lemons … or marshmellow bunnies, or something … and so we’re able to accomplish two goals very early in the process today. We get to see a lot of “Dee Behind the Scenes” changing clothes and generally being adorable and we get to learn some history that involves many, many naked women. All in all, with this much accomplished before nine o’clock in the morning, we’d better go spend some quality time with the dogs. 6/26/07	Details remain sketchy at this point, but it appears that D.Minion and Lon had a meaningful experience with Julia Ann over the weekend – which happened to include the use of a bed. We decided that while we’re uncovering (as it were) more details, today might just be a good day to recount some Julia Ann experiences with our old friend Inari Vachs. Apparently Julia Ann has developed some experience dealing with Naughty Amateurs – which would undoubtedly include both Lon and D.Minion, by the way. 6/17/07	We’re off to a geek convention so that we might learn new and improved ways to be confused in our everyday efforts, and then we’re staying down for the Erotica LA Convention next Weekend. Now as we understand it, one should make a practice of being kind to strangers, and so that’s what we’re doing in this particular mega-venture to entertain you in our absence. While Maverick doesn’t qualify as someone we don’t know obviously, we can assure you with absolute certainty that he is indeed stranger than most people you’ll ever meet. Lamenting his failure to arrange a visit to correspond with our upcoming parade with porn stars, he … let’s say, unhappily … pointed out that we never made time to publish his … let’s say unique … adventures at the AEE last January. So we’ve made the (considerable) effort to do that. Without providing too much editorial comment at this early juncture, let us just point out that you could read 1,000 words and look at 100 pictures on each of the seven days covering our little trip here, and you’d still have four more pictures to go – along with Heaven knows how many words. Culture is a curious thing; add it to the XXX world, and you’ve got an interesting animal to say the least. 6/14/07	You know what’s good about Mia Smiles? Well, darned near everything if you want to know the truth. So when Mia stepped in as wardrobe mistress, and cell phone aficionado, and talent to work with Katsumi, we decided we’d hang out and see if anything interesting happened. It seemed to oddly enough. 6/6/07	In keeping with our basically weird existence we have a special report today that’s a “Lala” shoot that doesn’t actually happen in LA. We know: It sounds confusing. And if you think that’s bad, just wait until you get to the European Geography part. Uh-Huh. Now we’ve said this before, but you really might consider just skipping to the 100+ pictures of the beautiful naked woman. Either that, or you’re gonna need a map, and you really have to be careful about paper cuts … at least on some parts of your person … that may be rather exposed while you’re looking … or maybe not. 6/2/07	Favorite shirt we saw at the rodeo this weekend: “Sure beer has no food value but food has no beer value either.” … OK. We didn’t really go to the rodeo this weekend, but there’s one in town and this guy wearing a cowboy hat had that shirt on, so we figure it’s a fair assumption that the shirt ended up at the rodeo too. 8/29/06	If all really is well that ends well, then this is well. And if you missed the first part of the “episode” yesterday, you can read the entire saga (and enjoy the full “bonus” we were discussing) today. As it turns out, Official People are very tired at 2:00 in the morning, whereas Annoying People are just more Annoying. We have learned a valuable lesson. 8/28/06	Hmm. Now this isn’t our best thing, that’s for sure. We’ve pretty much told it like it “is” on the inside here, but seeing as how these “New Stuff” posts end up on the free side at the end of every month, some people think we need to be more politically correct out here. And I thought we got into this business so we didn’t have to bother with pissant PC crap all the time (and that wasn’t really meant as a metaphor but it suits the mood just fine). Consequently you may consider this a nice, polite, and even fresh-smelling comment about what’s in store for today, but that’s about all we can say about it. This picture probably doesn’t help at all, but then why would it? The point of being “Politically Correct” is to obscure the point, right? 8/24/06	In the midst of all the chaos here (which pretty much could begin just about every paragraph we ever type, come to think of it) somehow, somebody (who may not work here much longer, come to think of that) discovered that we’d forgotten to put up D.Minion’s fawning coverage of Justine playing Audrey Hollander’s body double (or more accurately “out of body” double) on day one of the Catherine shoot. Then this somebody went so far as to mention it to D.Minion, who then proceeded to scream and yell and loudly complain about it. OK. D.Minion doesn’t really scream and yell, but those hurt little puppy eyes that she’s learned from the many dachshunds around here work even better. Consequently we quickly caved in our resolve to be done with the last big movie Michael shot until at least we finished talking about this latest big movie Michael shot, and so we’re righting our wrong today. 8/21/06	We figured it out. A picture is worth 1,000 words, and there are 30 pictures every second that run through a typical video moment (at least in the U.S., but let’s not overcomplicate here). Therefore D.Minion saved us over a half a million words in her Day Three post, although it may not seem like it once you’re done going through it. Oh, and this was just on the part she didn’t talk about at all. Go figure. One the upside, Day Three did include naked visions of not only the stars of Sacred Sin Heather Vuur and Jassie, but also some memorable visits from A.J. Bailey and Nevaeh. Then of course there’s the captivating scene where no one got to have sex with Dee, but we’re not bitter or anything. We are going to have to speak to the Director about this, though. 8/19/06	Perhaps “Art Theory” would best describe our timid foray into understanding the mind of Lorraine Sisco today. Actually the only words we’re completely sure of in that last sentence would be “timid” — at least upon reflections. You’ll pretty much have to judge for yourself the art vs. plain weirdness debate that could plague us (if only we cared much about it), but at least you’ll get to see some pretty darned interesting video from The Catalyst in the process. 8/17/06	So here’s the story … We happen to be talking to Lon about coming out to the Eddie Van Halen party at the end of September, and during the course of the conversation we happen to ask, “Hey, whatever happened to that Erotica LA story you said you were writing?” (We’re a lot more subtle sometimes, but not very often.) Anyway, Lon says, “I sent it to you a long time ago.” (What he left unsaid but implied was that we sometimes get a little busy and a “few” weeks go by without stories ever making actually onto the site, but we got the point.) “We never got it,” was the honest reply. “Well, I wondered why it never ran,” said a very patient Lon, “I’ll send it to you again.” (He’s nice and very helpful too, that Lon.) “Excellent!” we immediately reply, “Now we can stall some more before we have to do Day Three.” So while you won’t see 100-some-odd photos from D.Minion, you can see a bunch of porn stars hanging around a sex convention and hear about Lon and DM as a couple. 8/15/06	One of the really odd things we’ve noticed over the years is how much things seem to go in “spurts” in our business, if you’ll please pardon the pun. For example, sometimes you won’t go to a location for years, and then all of the sudden you’re there three times in a month. And sometimes you won’t have any wonderful pictures video on Dee (and Anais) for a long time, and then all the sudden everywhere you look it’s popping up, again pardon the pun. Well, this is NOT Day Three of DM’s Sacred story but that’s coming soon, and wouldn’t you know it, Dee’s on that day too. It’s a very good thing Dee’s easy on the “Ayes” … You don’t have to pardon that pun, as we did it on purpose. (You don’t have to like it though; it’s America, after all.) 8/9/06	It’s a couple of interesting tidbits with a peek into the magic and mechanics of filmmaking that we’re looking at today, but you’ll really have to read the story to see what specifically we’re talking about. Since this eventually ends up on the “free” side of the site, we can’t say too much about it where just anyone could read it some day. Suffice it to say that a wonderful collection of Dee as a nude talk show host on KSEX barely scratches the issue, and even on the free side we can point out that a naked Dee makes for a stellar beginning to just about any event we can think of. 6/29/06	We have a curiously brief report on Erotica LA today, possibly having something to do with D.Minion’s sudden (and almost unexplained) incapacity. Gee. We just can’t figure out what happened. But there are 60 pictures here, and some video clips of items seen at the show that almost uniformly have no practical application. Come to think of it, that pretty much defines our goal in life. 6/25/06	LA Erotica was actually a bit wackier this year than it has been historically, and we’re blaming D.Minion. That seems fair since she’s been hanging out with Lorraine Sisco altogether too much and has plastered us with 310 pictures, a secret mpeg, and 3000+ words covering the bizarre second day of Lorraine’s The Catalyst. These two women should quit hanging out so much together, and so we’ve decided just to tie DM to a chair in the office, or maybe to one at her house so she could commune with her cat. We’re definitely breaking her keyboard, so enjoy these Mega-Epics while you can. Some day we’ll look back on this and laugh … She swears. 6/20/06	It’s a bit of nostalgia, with stories of a young Devinn Lane, and it’s a bit of awe, as we look at all the Wicked Pictures can do with a DVD release, and it’s more than a bit of the shamelessness that makes us loveable that we’re offering today. Well, maybe we’re not loveable, per se, but that’s really the only word we could think of on the spur of the moment, and we didn’t want to delay you any further from D.Minion’s review of Wicked’s Camp Cuddly Pines Power Tool Massacre. 6/19/06	Well don’t everyone fall off of their chairs or anything, but we’re back again. The new system seems to be working remarkably well (although we’ll almost certainly regret saying that). We’re going with just a typical little D.Minion story today, this being her “pre-production observations” of Sacred Sin. We looked at the entire story in Word and learned, much to our dismay, that the entire discourse covers some 10,027 words. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, our immediate suggestion was to just give y’all a dozen pictures and let you keep the change. D.Minion’s look was not one of adoration at this suggestion, however. So we’re breaking it up, and we promise to get through it all – if for no other reason than everyone here is pretty much afraid of D.Minion. Women in their 40’s get a little scary you know … . 6/18/06	This isn’t so much a “let’s see if this works” kind of thing as it is a “OK. Fine. We’ve been promising you we’d do this since the Dark Ages (translation: Before Sacred Sin), so now we’re finally doing it.” sort of thing. That said, we still ended up with a rather intimate portrayal of a Fine English Lass named Faye, courtesy of our friend Maverick. Granted, Mav sometimes forgets to focus, and he never once looked into the background of the shot, but considering what Faye was doing and what she was (or was not) wearing, we can kind of understand the scattered approach. For an evolved amateur, Maverick seems to be catching on just fine. He even included a couple of variations on a video theme that we’re just going to stop talking about now, and for the record, we’re just going to assume he’s not the “P” in “POV” … . 6/17/09	Experimentations and Confirmations continue as we struggle desperately to find something to serve the dual purpose of being interesting for you, and giving us a chance to stretch the limits of our server capabilities. 1/29/06	Call it a hunch, but we’re thinking we’ve got the first of a few of the “Seen on the AEE 2006 Scene” reports here. We’re trying to start everyone off easy by not subjecting you to the feared mass of a typical D.Minion elucidation on the annual event in Las Vegas, so we figured we’d start with lil’ ol’ SteveD – a man of few words and many pictures – a man, in other words, close to the hearts of many members. So if you’re looking for Kristal Summers, Juli Ashton, Christy Canyon, Julia Ann, or anyone else that might hang out at a porn convention, well, so was Steve. And all of the women seemed very happy to pose for Steve. He must be a very kind man. In a past life, maybe SteveD was Ghandi. 1/28/06	All in all, waking up every morning to the sounds and smells of the Pacific Ocean beats the heck out of waking up to the sounds and smells of millions of automobiles. Still, if you have to hang out in Los Angeles it doesn’t hurt to hang out with Miko Tan and Eva Angelina, particularly when you can make fun of the folks from the city. Out here, let’s just say we had a Fabulous time. Inside, of course, you’ll see (and read if you’re so inclined) much more … um … detail. It’s all about “d” tail around here, y’all. Speaking of tales, just when you think you’ve heard everything in this business, you realize you’re wrong. Now I’ve been in the XXX industry for 15 years now, and even I get suprised. While on this Ninn Shoot, one of the male performers looked over to the monitors and said, “She’s too tight.” Understandably confused, the young Director looked at me and asked what to do. Naturally I gave the most obvious answer that came to mind. “Give me her phone number,” I suggested. One need always maintain perspective I’ve learned. 1/23/06	It occurs to us that some people may need something to take their mind off of fumbles, interceptions, general embarrassment and overall ickiness. In our vast experience with these feelings of sadness, we’ve found that Anais can be a dandy diversion. If, for example, you have some stunning exclusive pictures of Anais practicing her modeling on a country set, and then you have visual evidence of Anais being somewhat skilled at self-satisfaction, you might be able to avoid burning everything orange and blue in your wardrobe. 1/22/06	Have you ever felt like important things just take an eternity to come to fruition? 1/20/06	Sometimes the simplest things in life can make all of the difference, can’t they? Take for example a week where you get stuck doing all sorts of really un-sexy things like upgrading servers and checking php code for a new catalogue system that no one else is even going to know is there if it works right. And then say you still have like 70,000 images from the Vegas convention to go through (well, there probably aren’t that many, but there are a lot) and some of them are quite frankly just a little oogey. When you’re having a week like that, it turns out Monique Alexander can just brighten your whole day. Come to think of it, she’s always pretty much had that effect on the office. 1/15/05	Well, we’re still going through a bazillion pictures and mpegs from the recent AEE show, and we finally took a break to let everyone know we’re still alive, despite having had to listen to all of the sportcasters across the country explaining how wonderful the Indianapolis Colts are, and how sadly overrated the Denver Broncos are. Odd, that. More to the point, however, we took some time to put together a quick set of Kristal Summers hanging around the hotel room, when she wasn’t hanging around the convention. 1/9/06	Apparently while we were gone the “New Year’s” post (below) kept appearing and disappearing. Not being sure what exactly happened, we decided to blame it on Gremlins, since we don’t want to waste all of our “Blame it on D.Minion” chits this early in the year. That said, we’re trying something different, which for us generally means we’re going to end up in a place completely different from the one we imagined we’d end up when we set out, but at least we’re used to that. 1/2/06	Consider these our New Year’s Nudity Resolutions. Now these are a lot like regular New Year’s Resolutions, but they’re a lot more fun to keep. If you factor in Juli Ashton, Nikita, Vicca, and some (close, it seems) friends of theirs, you get one dandy equation that will hopefully keep y’all busy for the week we’ll be away in Las Vegas mingling, mixing, doing interviews and taking pictures … basically doing all the fun stuff Maverick doesn’t get to this year. If you have to struggle through these tedious work exercises, at least you should be able to taunt your friends about it. Hmm. That’s another fine New Year’s Resolution, come to think of it.
