8/30/08	Oops. You’ve undoubtedly read somewhere about the importance of being a good example for your children, indeed for anyone around you as a practical matter. You know, “You lead much better by example than you ever will by direction” and all that. (For now let’s just forget about that whole Machiavellian philosophy and Sun Tzu, Art of War things. They’re overrated anyway.) … Well, somewhere along the line our buddy Maverick determined that our particular brand of humor must constitute the “proper” way of all web presentation. Consequently if you decide to foray further today, you’ll likely see some, um, video creation that firmly demonstrates our failure as exemplary figures. Of course Mav now thinks that every American uses “y’all” as a part of their normal conversation and all of us have alarm clocks that play “Titties ‘n’ Beer” every morning. 8/29/08	Oh, D.Minion was floating in the excited clouds today. She’s learning video editing — because creative people always get bored, basically — and she decided to start with a video scene from Essentially Juli between Taren Steele and Juli Ashton. Yeah, well … …So we had to substitute a scene featuring Taren Steele and Shayla LaVeaux (albeit on their own, so to speak) from Screen Play (not available anymore). Still if you have to pull a substitute off the bench, it’s good if you have Shayla in reserve. Everyone should. 8/24/08	All good things come to an end, at least that’s what people who are trying to rationalize their condition after realizing that they won’t be able to enjoy something that has been really fun try to think. For us, having the Olympics on pretty much all the time in the office has been a splendid way to add a little mix to the mesh. We will miss it for the next couple of years, but we have learned about a whole lot of countries we’d never even heard of, so that’s a bonus. Also for us, assisting Maverick with his redesign has come to an end as well — which goes to show that even not necessarily all that good things come to an end too. Whew. Now we’re able to go back to the more fun adventures, this time involving our much more traditional entertainment in Kristal Summers and Dee. Everyone should have closets full of things like we do. 8/20/08	We’ve all heard that “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.” … Uh-Huh. 8/15/08	It seems like our invitation to the big premiere party for “The Four” must have gotten lost in the mail. Dang. Consequently we decided rather to spend our entertainment dollars on Rodney Carrington, who happened to be in town. We figured out why Mr. Carrington enjoys our site (at least as much as we’re sure he would if he actually knew who we are, naturally). Early in his act he relates a story about going to church that certainly sounds like us. “My heart’s in the right place,” he says, “It’s just my mind that wanders off into the gutter.” … Now this really has nothing whatsoever to do with D.Minion’s coverage of Angel Cassidy Exposed, but it was funny. 8/12/08	We can’t help it. International sports has been a common topic of conversation around the office this week, and so we got to wondering. Don’t you think they could draw in a lot more consistent interest in gymnastics if they just took that little 4” beam and raised it up about 30 feet into the air? You could at least pull in the NASCAR and Ultimate Fighting Fans, and they drink beer. Somebody should tell Budweiser. …Well, it was just a thought. And as it turns out, a rather adventurous woman had a thought of a slightly different kind as she showed up during one of Dee’s KSEX shows and proceeded to — well, let’s call it try to make her team. While Dee was busy being au naturel, D.Minion was naturally providing visual documentation of the event. No word from the judges yet, but you members let us know. 8/11/08	Oh, good grief! We turned on the Olympics each of the past two weekend mornings, and can you guess what NBC was showing? Yep. Rowing. … Worse yet, on Saturday, the UK team beat the US team, although we can’t say we were paying enough attention to determine if this happened to be some qualifying heat or some other kind. Still, what are the odds? Well, in addition to dodging phone calls from Maverick we also decided to show off something that not even one Olympic competitor can claim. Dee. 8/8/08	We had to post today, because all those eights are really good luck, and we can generally use all the luck we can find. If you knew about eights being good luck, and you’re not Chinese, then odds are good you’ve been watching all the hype for the opening of the Olympic Games in Beijing tonight. In the spirit of friendly competition we thought we’d feature a couple of a different kind of athlete today, albeit in slightly less clothing. OK, actually Faith Leon and Puma Swede basically have no clothing at all, which really makes it hard to get those endorsement deals, you know. Maybe if Nike starts making high heels or something. … So in the spirit of friendly taunting (that often accompanies that friendly competition), we called Maverick to ask if the Brits even watch the Olympics or if it’s just too depressing. Mav said they often do well in “rowing” …. Uh-Huh. We often pop down to the sports bar and slug down some beers while we watch “rowing” on TV. That sure gets exciting. 7/31/08	Did you ever do anything really dumb just because a good friend wanted you to? Yeah, well, this doesn’t exactly qualify as jumping off a cliff, or climbing up and painting the town water tower or anything, but we’re still putting up a story today that in good conscience we must simply encourage all of you not to read. For some undoubtedly deeply psychological reason, D.Minion has decided that we’re really all quite interested in a couple of aging domestic animals, and she has gone so far as to provide pictures (to our great shame). That said, we always make it easy for you to skip down to the bottom of an entry just by hitting the little camera icon at the top of the page, and you should definitely do that today. Once there you’ll find that we did manage to sneak in a bit of lesbian shower fun with Taren Steele and Juli Ashton — and there’s not a household pet in site. 7/20/08	Apparently, there has been grumbling among the ranks. Allegedly the senior member of the “team” here has been absent altogether too much as of late, causing the whiners to commence with their harmony. 7/9/08	You’d think we’d learn. Every time we put up a “D.Minion at a convention” story we’re amazed at the amount of quirky information she manages to uncover — even when she tries to “tame” her approach. Then, naturally, as we go through the process of adding our minutiae (which sometimes turns out not to be all that “minute” if you want to be technical about it) the posts seem to take on a life of their own — typically a very weird life. … Well, you’ll be happy (or maybe sad) to know that we’ve done it again with Erotica LA, 2008. If you do nothing else in life, at least you should try to be consistent, we think. Consistently good occasionally happens as a bonus, but we always strive for that. It’s good to have a plan. 7/1/08	Reading a book the other day we realized that we don’t say “various and sundry” enough around here, particularly when you realize that this phrase pretty much sums up our lives. So we’re down shooting some more content and we stop for lunch. As we pull in to the lot for our favorite Valley-Local “Burger, Hot Dog, Chinese Food” joint, we notice a new bus stop bench out front advertising a “Topless Truck Wash” . Now presumably they don’t wash only topless trucks, but that’s still not overly odd. It’s LA, after all. Then we pop into a restroom inside and notice an expression of the quickly dying graffiti art written on the wall above the urinal. “Fuck the bitch, Suzie” it said, and it gave the anticipated phone number. Now other than obviously being less elegant than the traditional “For a good time” approach it didn’t really capture our attention until we read the last line reading, “Recommended by Ed.” … Don’t you just love style? Fortunately today we’re discussing neither men’s rooms nor Chinese restaurants that serve hot dogs. Instead we’ve unleashed even more “Dee on KSEX” entries, these being specifically from June 3rd and June 10th – of 2004. 5/30/08	We love summer time around here. It brings wonderful experiences each and every year. … Long days and warm evenings. Homemade ice cream. Picnics. Vacations, short and long. Consequently, suddenly he’s now got all kind of formats over there at 247AdultStars. 5/5/08	It’s “Cinco De Mayo” which technically means “the fifth of May” but apparently it’s a reason to celebrate. Still, it did seem a reason to celebrate some degree of multi-cultural happiness, not that we’ve ever really needed much of a reason to do that. Let’s face it: After DM shot down our approach we basically just decided to write enough to make it seem like we’re paying attention up here. You may be sensing a theme this time around. 4/28/08	When the folks at the office learned that the Denver Broncos drafted guys with the names Eddie Royal, Carlton Powell, and Spencer Larson some people around here said it sounded like we’d have to start serving high tea at half time or something. … As it turns out, some people aren’t nearly as funny as they think they are. … On the other hand delving into a review of D.Minion spending time with Sean Michaels and his prodigious – um – persona on a porn set will probably be just as funny as you’d think it would be. 4/27/08	Well, we’re back from an odd combination of conventions down in L.A. again. This time the folks at “Fangoria” and the other folks at “Adult-Con” were kind enough to schedule their events at the same time, albeit at opposite ends of the Convention Center. Oddly the women at the horror gathering seemed to dress rather like the women at the porn convention, although they did seem to wear a lot more black and have a lot more holes poked in their faces – presumably for decorative purposes. We’re not sure we really understand that particular aspect of the sub-culture, but we do have D.Minion working diligently on explaining it all to us. We should mention that we’re not making any promises that this will in fact help, though. Until then (and as we’re working to wade through the “queue” here), we managed to uncover Mav’s still shoot that he somehow forgot to include with the “Cam Show” video entry, so maybe that will help. 4/20/08	Ah. Mr. U.K. seems to be poking around again, back from his sojourns getting various British women to disrobe and otherwise occupy themselves for his cameras. 4/16/08	Alicia Rhodes Well Traveled. … Hmm. Rarely do we have a title that as effectively conveys the topic being addressed as this one does. OK, so technically Maverick didn’t literally use this title, but he’s just starting to seek out his investigative journalist muse, so we’re cutting him a little slack. And if his “investigation” actually reflects much more of a “personal reflection” point of view than meetings with any sort of Deep Throat character, and his role as a “journalist” really comes down to simply writing those thoughts down, well what’s the harm in the Grand Perspective? Besides, if you think about it, you’ll see that Alicia certainly reflects one sort of deep throat character. There’s that. Also, we get to admire a refreshingly different kind of porn star, and we get to learn about European geography – maybe. Things could be worse. … Life is short. Why stress over details? 4/12/18	We interrupt our regularly scheduled chaos to bring you a bit of insight on current events in adult. Now we don’t do this very often, as there are scads of web sites out there that stake “news” as their particular niche on the web, but sometimes a situation will just throw one low and outside, and you just have to swing for the fence. (Don’t you just love a good baseball metaphor?) We could tell you the topic for today, in fact that would be a completely logical thing to do right now, but honestly we can only take so much “convention” in one sitting. We can at least tell you that we’re using the unusually beautiful “Tall Goddess” and the captivating Renee Perez to illustrate some of our finer points – all the while showing off some of theirs. (Yeah, we’re topical and funny. It’s a gift.) Also, if you point out the exact topic in an introductory area like this, people can go back and figure out when that happened, thus “dating” your post in the future. All the really smart web people say that only news sites date their posts, as membership sites want to appear more “timeless” in their appeal. 4/9/08	D.Minion must have been bored last weekend, because she apparently spent a whole bunch of time watching XXX movies. Either that, or we missed one hell of a party over at her place. Whichever the case may be, Kristal has once again caught DM’s fancy (or fantasy) as a MILF, this time along with our old friend Wendy (Maya) Divine in The MILF Chronicles. 4/8/08	Apparently, men are pigs. At least that’s the lesson we’re presumably supposed to learn from D.Minion’s review ofCheating Housewives #4. Of course people don’t usually make porn movies that try to teach actual life-lessons. That would be like trying to write a book about Christianity using an imaginary wonderland that a bunch of kids find by wandering through a secret room at the back of a closet. … Oh. … So that happens sometimes. … Still, life-lessons do not happen this time. On the other hand, you’ve got Nina Hartley, Kylie Ireland, Brittany Andrews, Lola and Kristal Summers to distract you from all the lessons you’re not learning this time around, and that helps a lot as it turns out. 4/3/08	Some video projects that we do for the web turn out to be a whole lot more “difficult” than we would have thought they’d be when we put them into the queue. That said, some projects involve a beautiful Kristal Summers and one of her Cam Shows, so that just logically seems like something worth a little extra effort. For those of you with good Internet connections, we’re getting a jump on the weekend today – even as we’re completing still details for the “Carol Faction” …. Give yourself some time on this one.
