We’re not exactly sure what millennials use as status symbols, perhaps an ability to tell an entire story in 140 characters without using even one actual word. Do you get points for being able to use the most sequential emojis to convey your feelings or the least? More importantly what exactly is the difference between an emoji and an emoticon, and should we care? Should we worry that we even know those words? What happened to the important, meaningful yet

So one benefit of the new Presidential Administration has been the increase in necessary word-pairings in order to try and explain our current situation. We have already learned phrases like “alternative facts” and just recently the local newspaper attributed an “incredulity-defying comment” to the leader of the free world. We kept hoping that maybe he just got confused and thought that every day except April Fools was when you were supposed to stun people with confusion and disbelief.
