2/26/06	Do you know how you know you’re in Los Angeles? I was sitting outside a little sandwich shop yesterday and a guy walked down the street in one of those t-shirts that have obviously been washed about 500 times – you know the “favorite shirt” kind of washing? The shirt said, “If we are what we eat, then I’m going to be you in the morning.” THAT’S how you know you’re in Los Angeles. Now you might want to decide if you’d rather spend a few days in LA, or (finally) peruse D.Minon’s account of the 2006 AEE. They should both take about the same amount of time, we’re betting, but the DM insights will still be cheaper, so they have that going for them. 2/21/06	We’ve got a Big Time Stall going on around here today, but that doesn’t matter as much because we’ve also got the luscious Sarah Blake to help us fill our time. We’ve often said that we lead a very strange life, but it may be that strangeness has no bounds around us. A graduating high school senior (Yes, he’s 18, D.Minon.) casually asked me at lunch if I knew anything about Porn Stars. It seems his final paper has to do with “Women Enslaved by Pornography.” And the only thing this kid knows about me is that I’m friends with his dad. I expect I’d better ask Dad how much I can tell the young inquiring mind. As it turns out, I probably do know something about this subject. The rest of you should probably just enjoy Sarah. 2/19/06	Kaylan Nicole is “Certifiably Anal” … and that’s a dandy way to start a discussion, isn’t it? 2/17/06	It’s quite possible that we have a Secret Agent as a member. At least that’s the latest philosophy around here, as we all went through Mr. Moto’s Photos from the AEE. After looking at over 1,000 pictures, not to mention actually attending the event, you’d think we wouldn’t be surprised by the people that our good friend managed to photograph. So we figure he just has some special powers, but at least he only uses them for good, and he does share with us after all, so that’s OK. 2/11/06	Yeah, we know we’re putting up a story today with a date on it from a couple of days ago, but we’ve got so many different stories, and pictures, and clips and so forth in the queue that we didn’t want to hit everybody with too many things right in a row. Besides, this has Dee, and Holly Hollywood, and Mia Smiles, and a Big Star that we’d rather forget, honestly. And that doesn’t happen every day. 2/7/06	Georgia Adair has come up recently on the Message Board, and naturally that got us thinking about her. Then in the midst of a feared Temporary Restraining Order we decided to do more than just think about Georgia; we decided to show her off. So we did. We enjoy easy things sometimes. We call it Beauty and Bubbles make the Babe. We also have Lon’s account of the Adult Entertainment Expo, all 3,407 words of it actually. Oddly this account seems to include complete details on every meal Lon ate in our presence. Hey, we just post ’em as we get ’em, y’all. 2/1/06	We’ve said it before, but we really do lead very strange lives around here. And apparently the condition can be catching as we’ll learn today. Once a distant Kristal Summers fan, then a shy Members’ Party attendee, and eventually a regular visitor to the Risqué homefront, our friend Maverick has taken a professional turn that’s really hard to explain. Now it’s not so much that the industry has a new webmaster among its members as it is that Maverick is that new persona. We know Maverick, and Maverick does NOT shoot POV videos with professional adult entertainers. Something is very, very wrong in the universe. We’re calling this “Fayed to Maverick” but that’s only for as long as it takes us to find that “Turn Back Time” Machine. 8/31/05	Did you ever notice how life tends to go in cycles? You know how you won’t even think about a certain restaurant for months and then all of the sudden you’ll end up there three times in two weeks? Weird, isn’t it? Well, that seems to be what’s happened here, although it certainly didn’t originate as any sort of a plan or anything. We seem to have gone from the Ninn Worx barrage to Angel Cassidy week as today we find D.Minion “Enraptured” with the comely lass as she was on set shooting the last of her contract movies for Michael. All we know is we’ve gone from the “camel through the eye of the needle” analysis to a movie called Rapture. We’re thinking we’d better be on our P’s and Q’s for a little bit, which we define around here as Perspicaciously Quixotic. 8/29/05	What do you do if you have to spend all day with Anais, Angel Cassidy, and Wanda Curtis, watching them get naked and pose glamorously for the multiple cameras in the room? Well, if you’re D.Minion you forget all about it, at least that’s what happened this time. We were going through a bunch of discs, looking for a good shot for the upcoming Angel Cassidy Exposed, and D.Minion became positive she had never seen these sets before. “Um,” I said. (I often use eloquent speech patterns such as this.) “You were there,” I explained (as I endeavor to be both erudite and patient). “You even wrote a story about it,” I concluded. “I did?” said our Diminutive One. “Did you ever put it up?” “Probably not,” I confessed. “I miss a lot of old stuff because of all of the new stuff.” Well, as you may have guessed, D.Minion found the story and the accompanying pictures, and now you can see them today. Also, we have concluded that not only do we occasionally dazzle with our impressive use of the English language, we often have some trouble just getting to the point. Have you noticed? We call it … Promotion on an Angelic Scale … And we’ll just be quiet now. By the way, this would be Angelic Anais, Angelic Angel, but Wanda Curtis is not pictured (and that’s a damned shame). 8/28/05	Ah, vacation is nice. You take a couple of days off, and you come back and work through a couple of nice little stories about Dee from the early days of KSEX, those being 2/12/04 and 8/19/04 and you look through about 50 nice pictures. Then you read some nice D.Minion insights, and you watch the Broncos win a meaningless game that has the Denver press advising the NFL to just go ahead and ship the Super Bowl XL Lombardi trophy to Colorado now. 8/24/05	Now this post was supposed to go up before we took off out of town to shoot the next batch of Ninn Worx shows, these being Neo_Pornographia 3 and Angel Cassidy Exposed. That was the plan anyway. We even bribed a couple people to stay late on Friday just to help put all of the galleries together for what we’re calling Catherine … The Finished. (Available in both the Standard Double-Disc and Limited Editition Collector’s versions, don’t you know.) But the combination of being in a hurry, and being all but beaten to death turned out not to be really very helpful. For some reason, we couldn’t get the darned images to show up when we tried to test the pages on the web. This morning, back from LA, and much better rested, we discovered that we forgot to put the pictures and the trailer on the server. 8/20/05	Well, it’s done. We still can’t really say the name of it without fear of irritating the nervous twitch we’ve developed, but IT has been delivered to the replicators, all 5+ hours of it, not counting the 10 or so it would take someone to go through all of the DVD ROM part of the Bonus Disc. … So we were going to put up one last post to advertise it, and we asked D.Minion to pick “a few” shots from the show to give you all. Deep in the [censored]-throws, she came up with 240 of them. Rather than wait to get all of these processed, we decided to just pop in a nice little Night Calls story, with nice little Juli Ashton and Tiffany Granath antics. It’s got to be about time for another episode of the series, and this way we’ll actually be caught up here ahead of time. 8/15/05	We’ve got just about enough time before Monday Night Football starts on ESPN to Pop up a quick little diddy about our Dear friend Dee. 8/12/05	We don’t want to talk about it. We’re not mentioning the name of the movie, and we’re not mentioning the name of the lead character, because that would be mentioning the name of the movie. 8/4/05	Hmm. We’re not quite sure how to respond when the guy brought in for a few weeks to help out starts making fun of the guy that signs the paychecks around here — publicly. Well, that’s not exactly accurate, as the various members of our motley crew seem to be quite amused by the turn of events, and it’s only the “Geeky Guy” that’s having some issue with it. Ah, well, it does appear that something’s gone amiss (yet again, I know) with some of the scripts on the server, and after going through what remains of Catherine late yesterday, and then looking at a calendar, I just decided to laugh about everything anyway. Sometimes that’s what you gotta do. When life gives you lemons, as we’ve learned, you find someone that life has given vodka — and have a party. So while I’m off in search of vodka, or a few more hours in the day, enjoy some wonderful shots of Inari Vachs that I happened to run across “unpublished” as they were. Naturally, I found these when I was looking for something else entirely — naturally. You know, back when Deb was writing for us, she used to call me the “Big Dick” on the site. Hell, if we went anywhere to hide, we’d certainly fall asleep, and then we’d never get this sucker done. You know what we need? We need some more nice little movies all about Dee, or Kristal, or even Wendy or Anais. We need something that didn’t involve thousands of miles of travel and tens (of tens) of thousands of dollars to work on. That’s what we need. 6/30/05	You know what? We haven’t been talking about Dee enough. For awhile we just thought these uncomfortable feelings were just from the long hours at Ninn Worx, or trying to get a deep understanding of really sexy subjects like “video compression techniques” or something. We even gave the “must have had some bad seafood” theory a brief visit, but then we realized that unless it comes wrapped in paper, we haven’t eaten it lately. Then we saw Dee at LA Erotica and we realized the obvious truth of the matter: We haven’t been talking about Dee enough. You know, you can spend time with your head buried in codec geekdom, on machines that cost many thousands of dollars, and you still miss the simple stuff. 6/27/05	Conventions and Events pretty much describe the modern working world in America. No matter what you do for a living, there’s almost certainly a convention somewhere (every year) that brings all of you like-minded people together … probably to talk amongst yourselves about how hideous it is to try to do what you do for a living. … well … We have those also. And we also have those Events that really, really want to be in this “essential” catagory, so that they might make a bunch of money off of all of us too. Consider LA Erotica. Now the people that attend this paticular convention are much more interesting than the folks that pay money to display their wares, as it were, but it’s still a rather fun place to hang out for a bit. This year it cost $30 per person, per day, and that probably makes some accountant happy somewhere. We just went for the pretty girls. Sometimes simple is best. 1/31/05	We don’t know quite how to describe Mav’s MEGA Report on Internext, the AEE, and the AVN Awards show except to say it’s BIG. It’s really, really BIG. There are well over 300 pictures and 7,000 words. Heck, we had to build the mother of all index pages, just to try to help people figure out where they are in the story when they come back to it. Let’s put it this way, from within the story and picture pages there are FORTY THREE individual links back to the index page. You’re going to need a lot of beer for this one, folks. Lots of pretty girls, though, and Lon becomes a Hip Hop artist. I guess if you’re really interested there are a lot of pictures of Juli Ashton, Kristal Summers, Paola Ray and Dee, and quite a few of Inari Vachs and Alicia Rhodes, surprisingly. Even more surprising are the pictures of Chasey Lain and the fact that Maverick was able to tell us every minute detail of his trip, except where he got the DVD that Christy Canyon asked him about. Allegedly there’s going to be another episode this Friday, so we’ll check with Juli for you. Basically today we’re just pointing out the apparent stupidity of Playboy TV executives sometimes. 1/15/05	Not taking anything away anything from Mav’s recent contribution, we felt it time to present a set of Dee in a more “professional” setting. Dee’s a particularly apropos subject today for many reasons, not the least of which is that she’s just so darned pretty that it’s just hard not to talk about her. There are actually 100 photos today, AND an underwater view of Dee that … well … you really have to see it …. By the way, as far as we can tell, none of this has anything at all to do with “Wells Fargo Wagons,” or “Trouble,” or even “Lida Rose” … although I always liked “Lida Rose” … Good day, our someones; isn’t this almost like being in love? 1/13/05	“Seventy-Six trombones led the big parade,” as I understand it. So that means that today’s post is better than a big parade, as it has 77 more pictures of the 2004 KSEX Awards show, this time taken by Foreign Correspondent Maverick. Now we need to explain three things. 1. We’re making no attempt to draw any correlation between trombones and photographs of partying porn stars, rather leaving to future generations of literary students an attempt to try to decipher what deep and tortured reasonings led us to this strange juxtaposition. 2. A simple fact of corporate America rejoices in giving someone a grand-sounding title like “Foreign Correspondent” rather than actual money, and 3. No. We do not think it at all strange that a straight man might know a few show tunes. I can also cook, but I can’t sew … so there. Ready to move on now? 1/8/05	If you’re reading this, well then Praise the Digital Dieties. That means you’re looking at the new server like you’re supposed to be. By the way, really, really smart people wouldn’t have chosen the end of the year … over the holidays … right before the largest annual industry convention in Las Vegas … at the same time as moving a home and office … as the perfect time to change hosting and billing companies for the two biggest sites we operate. Nope. That’s certainly not what a really, really smart person would have done. That’s just what we did. On the upside we still have many good contacts with some exceptionally beautiful women, like … let’s see … this is Kristal Summers, Becca, Dee, Inari Vachs, Cheyenne Silver, Juli Ashton, and Wendy Divine. It might be easier to just look inside the members’ area, rather than just believe us. The pictures get bigger in there. Actually a lot of things get bigger around these women. Go figure.
