8/31/10	Did you ever see The Wedding Crashers? … Well we can assure you that you’ve never seen the concept explored quite the way that Cytherea does it. Come to think of it, Cy’s little “version” might have made a wonderful addition to the actual movie, and would even have contributed some exceptional comedic tension. … Of course if they had included this Cytherea bit, the movie probably wouldn’t have played in as many theaters as it did. 8/27/10	Let’s say you’d really enjoy a job where all you have to do all day long boils down to taking pictures of Shayla LaVeaux naked. To wit, Lon noticed an amazingly relevant article in his local Las Vegas paper that could have deeply personal ramifications for all of us at the January convention. It brings into play the potential for pithy commentary from our British arm, via the reporting of Dear Maverick, and it may quell feelings of despair for a situation that last year we felt portended ill for our favorite bargain lodging on the Strip. … To make it a little more interesting, assuming it be possible that you’re not planning on attending AVN’s annual shin-dig, we have also popped in a few rather sultry photos of Inari Vachs in bright yellow thigh-high boots that we’ve had floating around the office for some time. 8/22/10	We have formally resolved, you may be glad to hear, to keep putting the “fun” back in dysfunctional. … OK. So as a technical matter that falls more into the “analysis of our usual situation made by a visiting friend this past week” than it does the “resolution” category. Still, we can’t see anything particularly wrong with this approach to life, and we certainly can’t argue with the assessment. 8/18/10	You English majors out there may remember that the final line of The Great Gatsby reads, “So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.” Now if you’ve actually read the book you’ll probably be a little worried here, but we can assure you that D.Minion’s fond account of Vicca and Nikita happens to be a whole lot more cheery than the resolution with Jay Gatsby (or Nick Carraway, if you’re a stickler for literary details). 8/31/09	This weekend we learned that “nothing is impossible when you have scaffolding” – which honestly has nothing whatsoever to do with traveling with porn stars, ostensibly the topic for today. On the other hand, it does seem like an interesting life philosophy, and those can come in handy. Specifically we consider the beauty of French Kissing in France today, along with a whole bunch of other philosophical muck you can feel free to ignore. 8/20/09	You know the best thing about summer interns? OK. They’re free, but do you know the other best thing about summer interns? … They’re always amazingly happy to go back and blow the dust off of all the things we’ve meant to do, oh, for about a decade or so now. Of course they also find some truly bizarre things, some sadly uncomfortable things, and some things that make perfectly clear why we didn’t use them years and years ago when they were new. 8/16/09	Big cities certainly have their appeal, but there really is nothing like local news in a small town. Why just last night we learned that officials have authorized air support for fighting all the fires currently blazing in California “24-hours a day, during daylight hours” . You just can’t make this stuff up. And why are we mentioning this? Well, because we start off with classic Polish Literature today, meander through people disguised as oversized rodents, and then end up with adult stars happily seducing camera operators. 8/13/09	Vicca has a birthday today, and in her honor we decided to continue our celebration of Uncle Gibby’s birthday with New Anais Avenues. Well, to be 100% accurate here, Gibby has been having trouble with our new javascript system for displaying the photos, and Maverick thought it would be “wonderfully cruel” to put even more Anais material up that poor Gibby wishes he could see on his Mac. … Now if any of the rest of you seem to be having the same problem (The screen darkens, but nothing else happens when you click on a picture.), we would appreciate you letting D.Minion know. So far we’ve been unable to duplicate the problem on any operating system or browser we can find, and we can find a lot of them, actually. 8/11/09	Double, double, toil, no trouble … . And if you’re acquainted with the Bard, then you can see how one little change can really throw the whole meaning out of whack. On the upside, we did keep the meter the same, and that should count for something. … OK. So it probably doesn’t count for much, since one syllable substitutions are pretty easy, but hanging out with Dee while she’s naked certainly counts for a great deal, and sharing the day with you for even more, we’d think. 8/9/09	Traditionally one thinks of birthdays as happy occasions. Being a fan of happy occasions, then, we decided to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the birth date of our new old friend, Uncle Gibby. OK, so as a purely technical matter we’re not sure how many times now His Gibbness has celebrated this same 50th birthday, but we definitely missed the real 50th one, so we decided to just go with that. Besides, it seems a safe bet that he didn’t have Anais and Chasey Lain to help him with the original one, so we’re thinking he won’t really mind. Also, he decided to share this bit of good fortune with everyone, which demonstrates just a bit of his sterling character, and he’s not even British. It’s good to know people that know people. We also have learned that Sirius Radio has a Hip-Hop station. Who knew? On the upside we’re a lot more comfortable with music for “young people” than we used to be as one of the songs we seem to hear a lot has the title, Wetter, and includes an oft’ repeating line of, “Will you be my daddy?” … Clearly listening to songs about lonely orphans in Seattle can’t be bad for one, right? … Have any sense of how crazy today may be in the Members’ Area yet? 8/30/08	Oops. You’ve undoubtedly read somewhere about the importance of being a good example for your children, indeed for anyone around you as a practical matter. You know, “You lead much better by example than you ever will by direction” and all that. (For now let’s just forget about that whole Machiavellian philosophy and Sun Tzu, Art of War things. They’re overrated anyway.) … Well, somewhere along the line our buddy Maverick determined that our particular brand of humor must constitute the “proper” way of all web presentation. Consequently if you decide to foray further today, you’ll likely see some, um, video creation that firmly demonstrates our failure as exemplary figures. Of course Mav now thinks that every American uses “y’all” as a part of their normal conversation and all of us have alarm clocks that play “Titties ‘n’ Beer” every morning. 8/29/08	Oh, D.Minion was floating in the excited clouds today. She’s learning video editing — because creative people always get bored, basically — and she decided to start with a video scene from Essentially Juli between Taren Steele and Juli Ashton. 8/24/08	All good things come to an end, at least that’s what people who are trying to rationalize their condition after realizing that they won’t be able to enjoy something that has been really fun try to think. For us, having the Olympics on pretty much all the time in the office has been a splendid way to add a little mix to the mesh. We will miss it for the next couple of years, but we have learned about a whole lot of countries we’d never even heard of, so that’s a bonus. Also for us, assisting Maverick with his redesign has come to an end as well — which goes to show that even not necessarily all that good things come to an end too. Whew. Now we’re able to go back to the more fun adventures, this time involving our much more traditional entertainment in Kristal Summers and Dee. Everyone should have closets full of things like we do. 8/15/08	It seems like our invitation to the big premiere party for “The Four” must have gotten lost in the mail. Dang. Consequently we decided rather to spend our entertainment dollars on Rodney Carrington, who happened to be in town. We figured out why Mr. Carrington enjoys our site (at least as much as we’re sure he would if he actually knew who we are, naturally). Early in his act he relates a story about going to church that certainly sounds like us. “My heart’s in the right place,” he says, “It’s just my mind that wanders off into the gutter.” … Now this really has nothing whatsoever to do with D.Minion’s coverage of Angel Cassidy Exposed, but it was funny. 8/12/08	We can’t help it. International sports has been a common topic of conversation around the office this week, and so we got to wondering. Don’t you think they could draw in a lot more consistent interest in gymnastics if they just took that little 4” beam and raised it up about 30 feet into the air? You could at least pull in the NASCAR and Ultimate Fighting Fans, and they drink beer. Somebody should tell Budweiser. …Well, it was just a thought. And as it turns out, a rather adventurous woman had a thought of a slightly different kind as she showed up during one of Dee’s KSEX shows and proceeded to — well, let’s call it try to make her team. While Dee was busy being au naturel, D.Minion was naturally providing visual documentation of the event. No word from the judges yet, but you members let us know. 8/11/08	Oh, good grief! We turned on the Olympics each of the past two weekend mornings, and can you guess what NBC was showing? Yep. Rowing. … Worse yet, on Saturday, the UK team beat the US team, although we can’t say we were paying enough attention to determine if this happened to be some qualifying heat or some other kind. Still, what are the odds? Well, in addition to dodging phone calls from Maverick we also decided to show off something that not even one Olympic competitor can claim. Dee. 8/8/08	We had to post today, because all those eights are really good luck, and we can generally use all the luck we can find. If you knew about eights being good luck, and you’re not Chinese, then odds are good you’ve been watching all the hype for the opening of the Olympic Games in Beijing tonight. In the spirit of friendly competition we thought we’d feature a couple of a different kind of athlete today, albeit in slightly less clothing. OK, actually Faith Leon and Puma Swede basically have no clothing at all, which really makes it hard to get those endorsement deals, you know. Maybe if Nike starts making high heels or something. … So in the spirit of friendly taunting (that often accompanies that friendly competition), we called Maverick to ask if the Brits even watch the Olympics or if it’s just too depressing. Mav said they often do well in “rowing” …. Uh-Huh. We often pop down to the sports bar and slug down some beers while we watch “rowing” on TV. That sure gets exciting. Don’t they have a silly name for it like skullduggery or something? Sometimes the world stage ain’t all it’s cracked up to be, and you should really just watch girl on girl porn. 8/29/07	Just “Dip me in chocolate and throw me to the Lesbians” advises one “novelty” product D.Minion and Bijou highlight in their account of the recently completed 2007 Adult Novelty Manufacturers Expo. As you might expect while some of the products are certainly “novel” – and there were the occasional porn stars hanging around – like most of these shows we left truly wondering about the capacity of human being to devise objects that primarily involve sex. We also wonder what Freud would think of all of this, but fortunately we keep those philosophical ruminations to ourselves today. 8/28/07	Well we’ve been off working on a “real” movie which we’ll obviously tell you about when it’s done. Suffice it to say so far that it seems much like we envisioned, where they use “gore” in places we use beautiful naked women. All in all, beautiful naked women are more interesting. Which is why, by the way we’ve decided to offer up a little bit of Kristal Summers Then and Now as a fine way to venture back to more comfortable surroundings. Apparently D.Minion had some predictable dreams in our absence and they seem to have involved Kristal, which many of our dreams do as it turns out. 8/14/07	Woo-Hoo! The NFL is back with us, albeit with a month of basically meaningless games, but it’s still better to win than lose. Now for all you purists out there, the 2007 season may have technically started before Monday Night Football last night, but if you’re from Denver it didn’t. And if you’re from the San Francisco area, like bradcom, for example, you probably didn’t enjoy last night as much as the people from Denver did, even though it was a meaningless game. Fortunately, people from Denver are always supremely gracious in victory, and would never, ever, berate a friend whose team lost. … Well, we certainly wouldn’t do it before the games actually counted. … The point here being of course that apparently we missed an eventful wildlife trip that our newest member Bijou took. If we weren’t so happy with pro football being back, we might think Bijou’s novice take on our industry showed a little sarcasm, truth be told. As it turns out, though, we were talking to SteveD (in Colorado, btw) during the game and he mentioned a writing style he personally enjoys. I hope he hasn’t created a monster. 8/3/07	Feast of Famine. That’s supposed to be the general state of life, right? Well, in a blazing exhibition of efficiency, D.Minion has already completed her On The Set piece for last week’s shoot, even before we set off again for the “Empire” of the high desert outside of Los Angeles.
