8/31/09	This weekend we learned that “nothing is impossible when you have scaffolding” – which honestly has nothing whatsoever to do with traveling with porn stars, ostensibly the topic for today. On the other hand, it does seem like an interesting life philosophy, and those can come in handy. Specifically we consider the beauty of French Kissing in France today, along with a whole bunch of other philosophical muck you can feel free to ignore. 8/22/09	Have you ever called up a friend and said, “Um … Why do we have pictures of you being tied up naked in the office?” As it turns out, if Shayla LaVeaux happens to be your friend, you might just have to make such a call. So far, we don’t know the answer, since Shayla just got the call (technically a “text” ) a few minutes ago, but we’re figuring that whatever we hear will make the basis for yet another typical day in the Life of Risqué. 8/20/09	You know the best thing about summer interns? OK. They’re free, but do you know the other best thing about summer interns? … They’re always amazingly happy to go back and blow the dust off of all the things we’ve meant to do, oh, for about a decade or so now. And you know what? They find some truly wonderful and fun things some of the time. Of course they also find some truly bizarre things, some sadly uncomfortable things, and some things that make perfectly clear why we didn’t use them years and years ago when they were new. 8/16/09	Big cities certainly have their appeal, but there really is nothing like local news in a small town. Why just last night we learned that officials have authorized air support for fighting all the fires currently blazing in California “24-hours a day, during daylight hours” . You just can’t make this stuff up. And why are we mentioning this? Well, because we start off with classic Polish Literature today, meander through people disguised as oversized rodents, and then end up with adult stars happily seducing camera operators. When your day starts weird, you’d best just go with it. There’s too much anxiety in life already. 8/13/09	Vicca has a birthday today, and in her honor we decided to continue our celebration of Uncle Gibby’s birthday with New Anais Avenues. Well, to be 100% accurate here, Gibby has been having trouble with our new javascript system for displaying the photos, and Maverick thought it would be “wonderfully cruel” to put even more Anais material up that poor Gibby wishes he could see on his Mac. … Now if any of the rest of you seem to be having the same problem (The screen darkens, but nothing else happens when you click on a picture.), we would appreciate you letting D.Minion know. So far we’ve been unable to duplicate the problem on any operating system or browser we can find, and we can find a lot of them, actually. 8/11/09	Double, double, toil, no trouble … . And if you’re acquainted with the Bard, then you can see how one little change can really throw the whole meaning out of whack. On the upside, we did keep the meter the same, and that should count for something. … OK. So it probably doesn’t count for much, since one syllable substitutions are pretty easy, but hanging out with Dee while she’s naked certainly counts for a great deal, and sharing the day with you for even more, we’d think. 8/9/09	Traditionally one thinks of birthdays as happy occasions. Being a fan of happy occasions, then, we decided to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the birth date of our new old friend, Uncle Gibby. OK, so as a purely technical matter we’re not sure how many times now His Gibbness has celebrated this same 50th birthday, but we definitely missed the real 50th one, so we decided to just go with that. Besides, it seems a safe bet that he didn’t have Anais and Chasey Lain to help him with the original one, so we’re thinking he won’t really mind. Also, he decided to share this bit of good fortune with everyone, which demonstrates just a bit of his sterling character, and he’s not even British. It’s good to know people that know people. 8/5/09	A dandy distraction from too much technical information can be a beautiful young woman like Jana talking dirty and performing willing intimate acts for a camera. Now you might say that such a diversion would be preferable to many things besides simply being geeked out, and you would be correct, obviously. 8/1/09	This has been an unusual summer in that we’ve had the unanticipated pleasure of working with a very talented 19-yr-old intern, although in honesty we do spend a good bit of our time telling him he’s not allowed to make fun of his elders as he’s explaining his current geek endeavors. We also have learned that Sirius Radio has a Hip-Hop station. Who knew? On the upside we’re a lot more comfortable with music for “young people” than we used to be as one of the songs we seem to hear a lot has the title, Wetter, and includes an oft’ repeating line of, “Will you be my daddy?” … Clearly listening to songs about lonely orphans in Seattle can’t be bad for one, right? … Have any sense of how crazy today may be in the Members’ Area yet? 8/30/08	Oops. You’ve undoubtedly read somewhere about the importance of being a good example for your children, indeed for anyone around you as a practical matter. You know, “You lead much better by example than you ever will by direction” and all that. (For now let’s just forget about that whole Machiavellian philosophy and Sun Tzu, Art of War things. They’re overrated anyway.) … Well, somewhere along the line our buddy Maverick determined that our particular brand of humor must constitute the “proper” way of all web presentation. Consequently if you decide to foray further today, you’ll likely see some, um, video creation that firmly demonstrates our failure as exemplary figures. Of course Mav now thinks that every American uses “y’all” as a part of their normal conversation and all of us have alarm clocks that play “Titties ‘n’ Beer” every morning. 8/29/08	Oh, D.Minion was floating in the excited clouds today. She’s learning video editing — because creative people always get bored, basically — and she decided to start with a video scene from Essentially Juli between Taren Steele and Juli Ashton. Yeah, well … …So we had to substitute a scene featuring Taren Steele and Shayla LaVeaux (albeit on their own, so to speak) from Screen Play (not available anymore). Still if you have to pull a substitute off the bench, it’s good if you have Shayla in reserve. Everyone should. 8/24/08	All good things come to an end, at least that’s what people who are trying to rationalize their condition after realizing that they won’t be able to enjoy something that has been really fun try to think. For us, having the Olympics on pretty much all the time in the office has been a splendid way to add a little mix to the mesh. We will miss it for the next couple of years, but we have learned about a whole lot of countries we’d never even heard of, so that’s a bonus. Also for us, assisting Maverick with his redesign has come to an end as well — which goes to show that even not necessarily all that good things come to an end too. Whew. Now we’re able to go back to the more fun adventures, this time involving our much more traditional entertainment in Kristal Summers and Dee. Everyone should have closets full of things like we do. 8/20/08	We’ve all heard that “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.” … Uh-Huh. 8/15/08	It seems like our invitation to the big premiere party for “The Four” must have gotten lost in the mail. Dang. Consequently we decided rather to spend our entertainment dollars on Rodney Carrington, who happened to be in town. We figured out why Mr. Carrington enjoys our site (at least as much as we’re sure he would if he actually knew who we are, naturally). Early in his act he relates a story about going to church that certainly sounds like us. “My heart’s in the right place,” he says, “It’s just my mind that wanders off into the gutter.” … Now this really has nothing whatsoever to do with D.Minion’s coverage of Angel Cassidy Exposed, but it was funny. And if you know us at all, you know that this pretty much covers the minimum threshold requirements for us to talk about it. If you aim low in life, you’re rarely disappointed. Feel free to quote us. 8/12/08	We can’t help it. International sports has been a common topic of conversation around the office this week, and so we got to wondering. Don’t you think they could draw in a lot more consistent interest in gymnastics if they just took that little 4” beam and raised it up about 30 feet into the air? You could at least pull in the NASCAR and Ultimate Fighting Fans, and they drink beer. Somebody should tell Budweiser. …Well, it was just a thought. And as it turns out, a rather adventurous woman had a thought of a slightly different kind as she showed up during one of Dee’s KSEX shows and proceeded to — well, let’s call it try to make her team. While Dee was busy being au naturel, D.Minion was naturally providing visual documentation of the event. No word from the judges yet, but you members let us know. 8/11/08	Oh, good grief! We turned on the Olympics each of the past two weekend mornings, and can you guess what NBC was showing? Yep. Rowing. … Worse yet, on Saturday, the UK team beat the US team, although we can’t say we were paying enough attention to determine if this happened to be some qualifying heat or some other kind. Still, what are the odds? Well, in addition to dodging phone calls from Maverick we also decided to show off something that not even one Olympic competitor can claim. Dee. 8/8/08	We had to post today, because all those eights are really good luck, and we can generally use all the luck we can find. If you knew about eights being good luck, and you’re not Chinese, then odds are good you’ve been watching all the hype for the opening of the Olympic Games in Beijing tonight. In the spirit of friendly competition we thought we’d feature a couple of a different kind of athlete today, albeit in slightly less clothing. OK, actually Faith Leon and Puma Swede basically have no clothing at all, which really makes it hard to get those endorsement deals, you know. Maybe if Nike starts making high heels or something. … So in the spirit of friendly taunting (that often accompanies that friendly competition), we called Maverick to ask if the Brits even watch the Olympics or if it’s just too depressing. Mav said they often do well in “rowing” …. Uh-Huh. We often pop down to the sports bar and slug down some beers while we watch “rowing” on TV. That sure gets exciting. Don’t they have a silly name for it like skullduggery or something? Sometimes the world stage ain’t all it’s cracked up to be, and you should really just watch girl on girl porn. 8/29/07	Just “Dip me in chocolate and throw me to the Lesbians” advises one “novelty” product D.Minion and Bijou highlight in their account of the recently completed 2007 Adult Novelty Manufacturers Expo. As you might expect while some of the products are certainly “novel” – and there were the occasional porn stars hanging around – like most of these shows we left truly wondering about the capacity of human being to devise objects that primarily involve sex. We also wonder what Freud would think of all of this, but fortunately we keep those philosophical ruminations to ourselves today. 8/28/07	Well we’ve been off working on a “real” movie which we’ll obviously tell you about when it’s done. Suffice it to say so far that it seems much like we envisioned, where they use “gore” in places we use beautiful naked women. All in all, beautiful naked women are more interesting. Which is why, by the way we’ve decided to offer up a little bit of Kristal Summers Then and Now as a fine way to venture back to more comfortable surroundings. Apparently D.Minion had some predictable dreams in our absence and they seem to have involved Kristal, which many of our dreams do as it turns out. 8/14/07	Woo-Hoo! The NFL is back with us, albeit with a month of basically meaningless games, but it’s still better to win than lose. Now for all you purists out there, the 2007 season may have technically started before Monday Night Football last night, but if you’re from Denver it didn’t. And if you’re from the San Francisco area, like bradcom, for example, you probably didn’t enjoy last night as much as the people from Denver did, even though it was a meaningless game. Fortunately, people from Denver are always supremely gracious in victory, and would never, ever, berate a friend whose team lost. … Well, we certainly wouldn’t do it before the games actually counted. … The point here being of course that apparently we missed an eventful wildlife trip that our newest member Bijou took. If we weren’t so happy with pro football being back, we might think Bijou’s novice take on our industry showed a little sarcasm, truth be told. As it turns out, though, we were talking to SteveD (in Colorado, btw) during the game and he mentioned a writing style he personally enjoys. I hope he hasn’t created a monster. 8/3/07	Feast of Famine. That’s supposed to be the general state of life, right? Well, in a blazing exhibition of efficiency, D.Minion has already completed her On The Set piece for last week’s shoot, even before we set off again for the “Empire” of the high desert outside of Los Angeles. While last week we had to suffer through Sophia Lynn and Renna Ryann (and a few dudes, but they don’t really count), now this week we’re apparently shooting another All-Female Festival so it looks to be even more grueling. Gosh. All those beautiful young naked women just looking for a little guidance (and probably some cold water, truth be told). Whatever are we to do? … Oh. 8/28/06	Hmm. Now this isn’t our best thing, that’s for sure. We’ve pretty much told it like it “is” on the inside here, but seeing as how these “New Stuff” posts end up on the free side at the end of every month, some people think we need to be more politically correct out here. And I thought we got into this business so we didn’t have to bother with pissant PC crap all the time (and that wasn’t really meant as a metaphor but it suits the mood just fine). Consequently you may consider this a nice, polite, and even fresh-smelling comment about what’s in store for today, but that’s about all we can say about it. This picture probably doesn’t help at all, but then why would it? The point of being “Politically Correct” is to obscure the point, right? 8/24/06	In the midst of all the chaos here (which pretty much could begin just about every paragraph we ever type, come to think of it) somehow, somebody (who may not work here much longer, come to think of that) discovered that we’d forgotten to put up D.Minion’s fawning coverage of Justine playing Audrey Hollander’s body double (or more accurately “out of body” double) on day one of the Catherine shoot. Then this somebody went so far as to mention it to D.Minion, who then proceeded to scream and yell and loudly complain about it. OK. D.Minion doesn’t really scream and yell, but those hurt little puppy eyes that she’s learned from the many dachshunds around here work even better. Consequently we quickly caved in our resolve to be done with the last big movie Michael shot until at least we finished talking about this latest big movie Michael shot, and so we’re righting our wrong today. 8/21/06	We figured it out. A picture is worth 1,000 words, and there are 30 pictures every second that run through a typical video moment (at least in the U.S., but let’s not overcomplicate here). Therefore D.Minion saved us over a half a million words in her Day Three post, although it may not seem like it once you’re done going through it. Oh, and this was just on the part she didn’t talk about at all. Go figure. One the upside, Day Three did include naked visions of not only the stars of Sacred Sin Heather Vuur and Jassie, but also some memorable visits from A.J. Bailey and Nevaeh. Then of course there’s the captivating scene where no one got to have sex with Dee, but we’re not bitter or anything. We are going to have to speak to the Director about this, though. 8/19/06	Perhaps “Art Theory” would best describe our timid foray into understanding the mind of Lorraine Sisco today. Actually the only words we’re completely sure of in that last sentence would be “timid” — at least upon reflections. You’ll pretty much have to judge for yourself the art vs. plain weirdness debate that could plague us (if only we cared much about it), but at least you’ll get to see some pretty darned interesting video from The Catalyst in the process. 8/17/06	So here’s the story … We happen to be talking to Lon about coming out to the Eddie Van Halen party at the end of September, and during the course of the conversation we happen to ask, “Hey, whatever happened to that Erotica LA story you said you were writing?” (We’re a lot more subtle sometimes, but not very often.) Anyway, Lon says, “I sent it to you a long time ago.” (What he left unsaid but implied was that we sometimes get a little busy and a “few” weeks go by without stories ever making actually onto the site, but we got the point.) “We never got it,” was the honest reply. “Well, I wondered why it never ran,” said a very patient Lon, “I’ll send it to you again.” (He’s nice and very helpful too, that Lon.) “Excellent!” we immediately reply, “Now we can stall some more before we have to do Day Three.” So while you won’t see 100-some-odd photos from D.Minion, you can see a bunch of porn stars hanging around a sex convention and hear about Lon and DM as a couple. 8/15/06	One of the really odd things we’ve noticed over the years is how much things seem to go in “spurts” in our business, if you’ll please pardon the pun. For example, sometimes you won’t go to a location for years, and then all of the sudden you’re there three times in a month. And sometimes you won’t have any wonderful pictures video on Dee (and Anais) for a long time, and then all the sudden everywhere you look it’s popping up, again pardon the pun. Well, this is NOT Day Three of DM’s Sacred story but that’s coming soon, and wouldn’t you know it, Dee’s on that day too. It’s a very good thing Dee’s easy on the “Ayes” … You don’t have to pardon that pun, as we did it on purpose. (You don’t have to like it though; it’s America, after all.) Since this eventually ends up on the “free” side of the site, we can’t say too much about it where just anyone could read it some day. Suffice it to say that a wonderful collection of Dee as a nude talk show host on KSEX barely scratches the issue, and even on the free side we can point out that a naked Dee makes for a stellar beginning to just about any event we can think of.
