| 1/22/24 | Well, the bags are packed; we’re ready to go. We’re standing here outside your (virtual) door, but it seems highly unlikely we woke you up to say goodbye. We’re not leaving on a jet plane anyway, because the trip to Vegas by car takes roughly the same amount of time from Los Angeles as a flight, and you can carry a lot more equipment. You can also see the World’s Tallest Thermometer, buy bougie beef jerky, and peruse Alien stuff along the way too. We’ll be back in a week, though, and to tide you over we’re leaving you with heretofore untold secrets about Sasha Grey along with some illustrative video support from other “Girls Next Door” — allegedly. … That would be allegedly on the next door part. The women are definitely real. [STAR TAGS: Celina Cross Video, Sasha Grey Video, Ashley Anne Video, Allison Pierce Video, Jasmine Video, Kandi Hart Video] |

| 1/20/24 | Most of us are spending the weekend confirming meetings, sorting and testing gear, being sure we have a myriad of charged batteries (and the cables to charge them later), and, y’know, being sure we have enough clean underwear. The annual pilgrimage to Las Vegas for the AEE show happens this coming week, you see. Since Steve has opted out of visiting with us this year, we decided to both offer up a little bit of fantasy that the stars provide with “Nailed It!” as we not-so-subtly remind our dear friend of what he’ll be missing — in addition to the obscene amounts of steak and impressively-caloried desserts. | 1/19/24 | Don’t you just love it when a plan comes together? Of course in this business that expression takes on a rather different meaning — risqué, even. We do not care about that part, though, although we do count ourselves as fans of a story coming together as it nears its conclusion. In this vein, we lead you to Scandalous, part five (of six) as we hope it makes perfect sense to you … so that you might explain it to us later. We’ll be in Vegas again this year, and we promise to buy you a nice frosty beverage if you clue us in on what kind of people ever act this way in real life. … Then again, maybe fantasy is the point. | 1/15/24 | We have another one of those “Rules that Should Govern Your Life” notes today. If you ever hear that there are New Girls on the Block, you should really, really hope that Adrianna Luna happens to be one of them. Admittedly Adrianna still might prevail in the “sounds the least like she looks” contest, but that hardly matters. She just happens to be a person who enjoys life to the fullest, and she really shows that in her performances — and we mean even before she takes her clothes off. As for after that, well, we will leave you to your own conclusions, but we’re going for really fun then too. [STAR TAGS: Adrianna Luna Video, Trisen Lee Video] |
| 1/13/24 | The more stuff you have, the easier it will be for your really good stuff to get stored away then leaving your conscious mind altogether. All those really important things that you just had to keep become of no value to you because you forget you ever had them. This must be one of the saddest facts of life. Unless you move A LOT, you will eventually find things you totally forgot about, though, and this will make you very, very happy — for example the Kristal Summers Journals from her first two years in the business. We heard an “efficiency expert” theory once claiming that if you move a box twice without opening it, you should simply throw away the box. Of course we consider that advice useless, which resulted in a very happy day today. Seriously, what kind of pathology would it take in one to be able to throw away a box without even looking inside it? [STAR TAGS: Kristal Summers Exclusive Video, Anais] |

| 1/10/24 | We have been around business in general — and this business in particular — for decades now. Just the other day a former friend pointed out that we have been running the risque site for more than a decade-and-a-half longer than some people performing in adult movies today have even been alive. (Now you should understand why we used “former” when referring to that friend.) … Regardless of that, we can tell you with authority that we have personally observed many, many ways to Chair a Meeting, but no matter how successful or wealthy some of those leaders might have been, none of them could really compete with Becca, brought to light again by Dear Maverick. For the record, we have not been running this site longer than Maverick has been alive. Barely. [STAR TAGS: Becca Exclusive Video, Shayla LaVeaux Exclusive Video] |

| 1/6/24 | This would of course be the time of year when we all try to “get back to normal” — whatever that means, and however far from what we thought would be “normal” growing up. If you have ever taken the time in your life for personal reflection, you probably know what we mean. The answer to the deceptively deep question, “How in the heck did I end up here?” can be amazingly therapeutic — y’know, along with just a tad terrifying. … No fear for us today, though, as we start with simple reflections and end up with The Camshow that Redefined the Genre. … Even all these years later, we still stand by that assertion. Right after the annual AEE (Adult Entertainment Expo) convention in Las Vegas, the sites all get flooded with at least what passes for coverage of the event. Granted, very few if any of them include photographs of hotel bathrooms, photos shot intentionally blurry, or even photographs of ceramic donuts. We have all the standard shots of beautiful women (and Evan Stone) too, but we hate to get lost in the shuffle and have everyone miss The Penthouse Boss in Silhouette. Besides, NOW you should be finalizing plans to meet us all at Resorts World this year. Doing the “homage” picture has a long history in the adult movie business, although admittedly with very different levels of success. You start with an already familiar cast of characters and, at least in theory, a story/scenario already built in for you. That said, one must always be careful of trademark violations. You cannot, say, use a giant splooge shot dripping down a Batman costume on your cover and hope to get away with that. Now wildly overstating the cost of a movie also has a long and inglorious history in the movie business, so now we have two things to think about as we begin our Babe Runners journey today. Odds seem good there will be other things to think about too. [STAR TAGS: Madelyn Marie Video, Victoria Lawson Video, Dani Jensen Video]
On this day of Presidential celebration, we deftly ignore the fact that most people are really celebrating the paid day off of work rather than a couple of old heros who seem to get more and more misunderstood every year. Instead, we embark upon an admittedly self-interested tangent by celebrating our own President of the U.G.P.E — the Uncle Gibby Philanthropic Endeavor. True, this group does not have all that many members, but a President is a President at some level. Besides, who can argue with U.G.’s fasciation with all

One cannot equate the experience of all auditions equally. Most of them, for example, entail living with the fact that the odds are very stacked against you before you even begin. Everyone you see in the waiting room looks exactly like you do, and most of them have better resumés to make matters worse. A couple of them might even be related to someone on the production staff or have worked with the director before on some other project. Bottom line: It ain’t pretty, and it ain’t for the faint of heart. … On the other hand, some auditions have none of those drawbacks, as you have the job before you even show up. Dandy trick, that. Apparently they scheduled a football game today in order to celebrate Rihanna’s return to the stage after a seven-year absence. Overall, that seems like a very nice thing to do, all things considered. Maybe the NFL has begun to develop a heart, after all. Folks were so excited that they even paid upward of $7 million just to air a 30-second spot during the Rihanna event. They have even set it up so that they will play 90 minutes in a pre-concert phase, and then conclude with another 90 minutes as a celebration of her greatness… Wow. Right? … We have made peace with the fact that we cannot compete with Rihanna, but maybe either before or after you will be able to enjoy a full movie supporting a different kind of female power in She’s Down to
As team-building exercises go, we’re pretty much down with the whole pool-side lesbian orgy idea in general. It sounds a like a whole lot more fun that a “trust fall” when you really have no trust in those on your team, or a “retreat” into some wilderness area where the bugs eat better than the people. … Given that, then, we might suggest our initial alternative the next time you find yourself in need of
You may recognize this reference. “Let me explain. No. There is too much. Let me sum up.” … Even if you cannot place that quote (from the very best movie ever made, just sayin’) you probably understand the meaning. This becomes important because it very clearly explains our situation today. True, we do not have sword fights, or revenge, or a really funny giant, but we do have
As most of us know, you should never try to teach a pig to sing, because it wastes your time and annoys the pig. Pigs are cute little things (or less cute big things), so we would never wish to annoy them. On the other hand, as Cytherea has taught us, you can
When in doubt, throw an orgy. When your scene has no villain to douse everyone with horny-spray in order to induce the orgy, have your heroine vaccinate everyone against this diabolical spray, even though it has the side-effect of … you guessed it … making everyone horny. Just sit right back and you’ll read a tale, a tale of a fateful … decision. So now the rest of the song makes no sense. Never mind. … Seeing as how we did not make this decision, and thus only seek to assist those that did make it, though, we do not really feel all that concerned about any perceived change of direction. Basically, we find ourselves simply trying to help out some friends and using a bevy of beautiful maidens in the process. Think what you wish, but telling
The talk about our various AEE/AVN adventures got us thinking about a lot of things we might be able to do in order to help people keep it in mind. First we had to explain to all the youngsters that Before There Was the Adult Entertainment Expo there was the simple “AVN Show” that happened in Las Vegas each January. The “AVN Awards Show” was its own — sold to cable tv, naturally — event, and basically people had a lot more money to blow on these conventions because the internet had not invented free porn yet. But you do not get to see in person those honest-to-goodness people not embarrassed by sex if you live your life on the internet. Maybe see
We have an interesting way to illustrate a bit of advice from aged professionals this time around. You see AVN has decided to run the 2023 convention during CES in Las Vegas. While this qualifies as great fun for those of us that can also get a CES Badge, it also vastly increases the number of people in town looking for hotel rooms. You do not need to have mastered much economics to understand what high demand and limited supply do to price, so if you want to be close, you might start seriously considering rooms at Las Vegas Resort World. … As motivation for us all, we have remastered the complete

We do not often create an entire post on behalf of one specific member, although that does happen on very special occasions certainly. We do with some regularity, however, have a specific — and therefore quite special — member in mind as we go through discussions about various options in the queue. If, say, we knew of a wonderful member that spoke fluent Japanese, we might think he could add some valuable insight into our Tokyo Cream Puffs 15 full-length feature movie today. We would never impose upon him by asking for help or anything, but he’s exceptionally bright and will likely figure it out. … Did we mention he’s also special and wonderful? We have actually met a few people who enjoy shooting orgies. Granted we have not met that many who enjoy shooting orgies who are not IN the orgies themselves, but honestly that makes sense. Imagine looking down to see a person quite near an orgasm, and what you need to say consists of, “Hey! You’re on my cable.” … This will not make you popular at this orgy, we can assure you. Astute Risqué Members will recognize that when we start putting up photo galleries that all appear to come from one movie, we have a “TOC” on the horizon. Even novice members will quickly recognize, however, that we tend to decorate those updates — when they appear on Risqué Proper, compared to, say, ReelRisque — with humorous insights and video. (Although the latter would fall into a category decidedly different from humorous.) Honestly choosing inspiration as a focus on this holiday was pure accident with Emphasis on Attitudes today, but often the best inspirations happen in just this fashion, if you think about it. … That said, anyone who chooses to fight politically on a national holiday reserved to remember one of the most peaceful and inspirational humans ever to live falls way too far into the self-absorbed category for us to even consider. Idiots. … We feel comfortable with the opinion that Astute Members do not fall into that group. For people that work regular jobs, it sure seems like a whole bunch of holidays get lumped into a relatively short period of time, basically giving enough 3-day weekends in the last quarter of the year that people really start to miss them when the new year starts. A person can get certifiably Holidazed as we look at it. And basically when we look at things, you can be fairly certain of two things. First, the perspective will come from a direction ranging from odd to absurd, and second, there will be nudity involved. Hey, life is short. Try not to wear too many clothes.
