While obviously holding vastly more importance on a global scale, the electoral process does suffer from a distinct lack of nudity. So we win! Not to make fun of a genius or anything but trying to make parting less painful by calling it “sweet sorrow” is like trying to ease the impact of amputation by calling it weight loss. Sometimes you have had a story to tell for a couple decades, but you just never get around to it. You might tell yourself that you were simply being benevolent, chivalrous even, as not all the characters in the story put themselves in the best of lights on this occasion. You would be lying to yourself in this case, of course, because really the occasion simply hadn’t come up where the story made any sense beyond petty annoyance resulting in mean-spirited discourse. Then the stars align and a perfect day appears, so you title the piece 
We were going to run this post yesterday and say something like, “Wow!
