11/26/05	We have, you may have noticed, perhaps a slight tendency toward the insouciant. Believing fully in the value of the irreverent, though, we’ve nonetheless somehow managed to offend sufficiently few individuals to still be around a full decade after venturing into the now antiquated BBS form of the Internet. Well, things have a tendency to keep moving along, and the value of this retrospective potential spawned the last post of our “Thanksgiving Week, 2005.” We had one remaining D.Minion story for an old compatriot, and we decided this would be a good time to use it. So we did. Hey, once we finally decide something, at least we get right with the program. By the way, if you ever hear us plan on putting up a post every day for a week, no matter what our benevolent intentions, will someone please call a doctor? Someone’s clearly very ill at the office. 11/25/05	So today’s one of those days you’re supposed to be sitting around remembering the 70’s commercial: “I can’t believe I ate the whole thing.” Well, maybe that’s what you’re supposed to be doing. What you’re probably doing is sitting around remembering how many variations on a turkey theme you’re going to have to go through to get rid of all of the leftovers and swearing you’re having pizza for Christmas dinner this year. Enter Taren Steele. Now you really don’t need to say much more than that, as we’ve found it a fairly useful phrase for completely reorganizing whatever train of thought you happen to be on. 11/24/05	Now you’ve got your basic “history” and you’ve got some ever-more-interesting “herstory” today, featuring some of the very early days of a Risqué Business. Now that wouldn’t be all that captivating perhaps, but we do get a chance to show off the early work of Alexis DeVell and Shayla LaVeaux, although I don’t recall either of them “working” too hard during this particular trip come to think of it. 11/23/05	Michael’s finally got a new home for Ninn Worx, so he’s happy. And when Maverick sees today’s post about Kristal Summers’ Sensitivity Training, he’s going to die, but at least he’ll die happy. And D.Minon’s happy as long as everyone else it happy. And tomorrow we get to see Santa Claus in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, so what’s not to be happy about? 11/22/05	We’re continuing our thankful ways today with a look back at Dee – before she had her own show on Playboy/Spice TV, and before she had her own show twice a week on KSEX. It’s a Night Calls sort of a post, this being rather of the Night Calls 411 variety. You know, we’re even fairly confident that we can think of at least one anonymous, but faithful, member that will be very thankful for these shots of Nikki Nova and her sidekick Crystal Knight. 11/21/05	Well, it’s the beginning of Thanksgiving Week, and so we thought we’d do some giving of thanks this week. We’ve always thought that if you can’t be clever, you can always just be literal. So we’re starting with Julia Ann because quite honestly Julia came to us near to perfect and she moved on just the same way. It would be nice to think that we had a lot to do with Julia’s success over the years, but that’s just not the case. Julia’s seriously one of the most sincere and caring individuals we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with, and the fact that she used to spend time naked over at the house just kind of worked as a bonus over the years. Now if you ever happen to see Julia Ann on tour somewhere, be sure and tell her about all of the nice things we’ve said about her, and then see if she’ll get naked for you. 11/19/05	Oops. Juli Ashton and Tiffany Grannath make a quick appearance today, as we’ve once again been baffled by the “regular” Night Calls schedule that Playboy TV promises. Now the Halloween Episode did provide its predictable wackiness, and D.Minion even got a picture of a naked band member this time around, although before you get too excited we should “note” that it happens to be a male, so his member may not be as interesting as you might imagine. That said, we also snuck a secret bonus from last week, in our typically Maverick attitude around here. 11/6/05	Our “Ninn Worx Weekends” make a stellar return today with its usual bevy of comely lasses, which is really rather funny when you consider that we’re talking about the latest installment of POP. (Well, it will be the latest when it comes out later this month anyway.) We also debut the appearance of the Existential Comic in what may turn out to be his only appearance in these wonderful pages – not that he’d care much one way or the other. It’s all meaningless anyway, after all. On the upside, Terrell Owens has a lot of time to read today, what with him losing his job and all. He should really think about existentialism as an alternative to his “whining as a professional art form,” don’t you think? 7/27/05	Oh, boy … Now we’ve done it. For those of you that aren’t members of both sites, Michael (over at MichaelNinn.com obviously) recently wanted us to try putting D.Minion stories about his shoots over on his site too. Now we’ve always put them here if they inolved anyone we know and love, but a silly as it sounds Mr. Ninn sometimes does shoots that don’t include any Risqué women. I know. Crazy, huh? Anyway he loved the way it looked and the response it got, so now he wants us to do them for EVERY Ninn Worx shoot. Now it may not seem like it, but it’s a lot of work to post these stories the way we do, and since The Risqué Clan represents the major focus around here, we came up with a plan. We agreed to the task on the condition that y’all could see the “other” Ninn shoot stories too, and Michael agreed (happily, we might add). So today you get to see Porn Star which, although not technically starring anyone from our group, the movie does rather heavily relay on some personalities you may be very familiar with. That’s all we’ll say. We don’t mind helping Michael, but we’re still going to be nice about it. 7/25/05	One would think that working in the XXX Industry would be a fairly good job. Now we should probably dispell some myths here before we even get started, so “bare” [sic, we know] with us as we try not to ruin too many fantasies. … Hmm … This might be too large of a topic for a “New Stuff” lead-in, so let’s just go with the Bigee Myth: Women in the Porn Industry don’t actually have sex with anyone, anywhere, at the drop of a hat, or even trousers. OK. That’s over with. Actually this works exactly like most jobs. Everything gets old if you do it often enough. Honestly, the technical production of your favorite Adult Fare, probably wasn’t nearly as romantic as you might imagine. Put in more understandable terms, if you’re married it’s not that your spouse has “lost something” nearly so much as it is that you’re just really, really used to it. So don’t feel bad. (Do something about it, but don’t just sit around feeling bad.) More on point for the rest of us, as to today’s purposes we’ve called our wonderfully illustrated insights “Down in the Dolldrums” [still sic, we know]. 7/13/05	Well we assume that figuring out what went wrong should make us feel better, but basically it just means that we have a lot of “fixing” to do. Sigh. Still, the first lost story that surfaced from technical oblivion happened to be D.Minion’s account of the same Innocence shoot that Lon had an account of … sort of. There were a couple of shoots going on at the same time, and DM (this time around) only accounted for ONE of the two while still managing to get in 280 pictures and over 6,000 words. This is one of those many, many words posts, y’all, so prepare yourselves while we go look for some more of what we lost. Don’t worry too much though: We’re only looking for lost stories. We gave up looking for our minds some time ago. 1/31/05	We don’t know quite how to describe Mav’s MEGA Report on Internext, the AEE, and the AVN Awards show except to say it’s BIG. It’s really, really BIG. There are well over 300 pictures and 7,000 words. Heck, we had to build the mother of all index pages, just to try to help people figure out where they are in the story when they come back to it. Let’s put it this way, from within the story and picture pages there are FORTY THREE individual links back to the index page. You’re going to need a lot of beer for this one, folks. Lots of pretty girls, though, and Lon becomes a Hip Hop artist. I guess if you’re really interested there are a lot of pictures of Juli Ashton, Kristal Summers, Paola Ray and Dee, and quite a few of Inari Vachs and Alicia Rhodes, surprisingly. 1/13/05	“Seventy-Six trombones led the big parade,” as I understand it. So that means that today’s post is better than a big parade, as it has 77 more pictures of the 2004 KSEX Awards show, this time taken by Foreign Correspondent Maverick. Now we need to explain three things. 1. We’re making no attempt to draw any correlation between trombones and photographs of partying porn stars, rather leaving to future generations of literary students an attempt to try to decipher what deep and tortured reasonings led us to this strange juxtaposition. 2. A simple fact of corporate America rejoices in giving someone a grand-sounding title like “Foreign Correspondent” rather than actual money, and 3. 1/8/05	If you’re reading this, well then Praise the Digital Dieties. That means you’re looking at the new server like you’re supposed to be. By the way, really, really smart people wouldn’t have chosen the end of the year … over the holidays … right before the largest annual industry convention in Las Vegas … at the same time as moving a home and office … as the perfect time to change hosting and billing companies for the two biggest sites we operate. Nope. That’s certainly not what a really, really smart person would have done. That’s just what we did. 7/30/04	Well we’ve finally managed to catch up with the calendar around here, having just decided to postpone future attempts at “automated” web posts. Maybe we’re just too old fashioned around here, so we need to stick with old-fashioned methods. You can read about a whole bunch of new fashion, though, and peek in on Anais and Juli Ashton, at the 2004Night of the Stars event that we attended this week. Watching Juli read scripted dialogue with Seymore Butts was actually a bit surreal, as was watching the winners accepting their awards. When I first started in this business some 14 years ago, the winners (basically company owners and other industry hot-shots) all looked like Charleton Heston. Basically, you should just move in to Hedonism III for the final quarter of 2004, and then you’ll be sure to see everything. 7/17/04	As Anais has just begun her second year under contract with Ninn Worx, we thought it might be interesting to go back and dig up D.Minion’s previously unpublished account of Anais’ first day on the job. One of the truly amazing things about this profession has to be watching the rapid, and often breathtaking, transformations that women in this business undergo. Now when you start with all the raw materials that Anais did, even the beginnings were impressive. 7/14/04	A couple of days ago Dee very sweetly pointed out that her “Index to KSEX” seemed to be a little bit behind the times. We rather cavalierly suggested that this was perfectly OK, as we were sure that no one really looked at it anyway. For the record, we should note here that “cavalierly” was not precisely the manner in which Dee preferred to receive a response in this situation. Who knew? After assuring her that we did indeed wish to continue to see her naked on a regular basis, we offered to put up D.Minion’s account of Dee’s most recent KSEX adventure — with Kristal, no less — this week. Then we tried to explain that if we put up all the dates for which DM has KSEX stories, but that aren’t posted yet, people would be more easily able to see how far we fall behind sometimes. 7/12/04	According to D.Minion sometimes people just want to know, “What up?” We’re not sure what that means exactly, except perhaps that D.Minion has been spending too much time around Dee. On the off chance that we could decipher it correctly, however, we decided to provide a little snippet in time of the current state of not only Dee, but Kristal Summers, Anais, Georgia Adair, Angel Cassidy, D.Minion, and even Harry. 7/9/04	Just call us the Sly Sultans of Seque … Come to think of it, you shouldn’t actually call us. We’d probably just send you to voicemail anyway, truth be told. Speaking of truth, we have a bit of that today, although that seems to be a relative term when it comes to history, but at least we’re fulfilling part of D.Minion’s promise to put up her shots from Kristal’s most recent Cam Show. We also have a surprisingly interesting “videography” on LA Erotica, and some honestly rather uninspiring stuff about spaghetti. 7/7/04	Night Calls begins its new time slot tonight, and it’s got pretty much everyone around here a bit confused. Don’t think D.Minion’s account of Night Calls, June 16, 2004 will help you understand Juli Ashton or Tiffany Granath much better, however. Apparently all was a bit surreal. 7/6/04	Well, we’re making the effort at apology here by putting the Slide Show Replay of Kristal’s latest Cam Show really, really quickly. According to D.Minion, if we get up the video replay of the most recent Cam Show with Kristal AND Dee, people might begin to forgive us our human error. 7/4/04	… [Sigh. This post was supposed to go up this weekend, but it didn’t. We checked to see what happened, and it seems we forgot to push a button, so we can’t even blame the computers on this one. Still, “Human Error” means that actual humans run this site, and that’s a far cry better than many. … Sorry.] The fact that we chose the 4th of July to put up a review of an adult industry convention in America, written by a British citizen just goes to show what fun and clever people we are. It may go on to show some other stuff too, but we generally just choose to ignore those things. Life’s too short to dwell on unpleasantness, we think. 7/1/04	Sometimes the XXX business can be an odd place. (We’ll assume that doesn’t come as a big surprise, come to think of it.) So after six years in the business, Dee finally had a chance to do a scene with Sean Michaels, and D.Minion was there to document. We’re pretty sure we don’t even need to say much more than that, actually, so we’ll just let you get to it. As you can tell from the thumbnail here, Dee took to the activity with athletic passion.
