9/7/15 Not the Fault of Chantelle Fox, to be ClearOn a day when 90% of the country enjoys a holiday, those at either end of the professional spectrum tend to be at work. Executives sneak into the office for a few hours, prepared to at least enjoy the peace and quiet, while those with the least seniority do whatever they usually do for a living and pine for a time when they too get to demand family time when most regular people get it. This latter group should be careful what they wish for, at the very least setting their sights somewhere below the Executive Level, but then people rarely exhibit such foresight, so they will eventually find out for themselves. For our “executive part” we found it necessary to correct some underling failures of late, but we don’t mind too much. First of all, it meant dealing with Dee again, and that always makes for a pleasant day, and, most importantly, when we come into work tomorrow, we will still be the boss at the meeting. Oops! We’ve mentioned this before, but we really hold to the opinion that you should never let the boss at your place of employment actually do any important work.
