5/30/09	The team has been working overtime doing another of those “Uh-Oh, D.Minion’s on set all day with women she likes” kinds of posts. If you’ve been around a while, you know what that means — pages and pages of story, 330 some odd photographs, and a collection of DM’s unusual videos. Still, it’s Paola Rey, Marie Luv, Jasmine Byrne … and some males. (They’re props. We don’t pay much attention to them.) We figure you might need the weekend to work your way through this one. 5/25/09	We’ve been shooting like crazy around here, putting new deals together, and generally playing with porn stars. Well Maverick’s got a clever and expanding section over in 247AdultStars that we just felt like we needed to draw some attention to. After all, who doesn’t like breasts? 5/19/09	Most porn companies probably don’t send out memos something to the effect of, “Can you remember the name of a poet who just strung together nonsensical strings of words without even the pretense of sentences?” And then again, most porn companies would not then have received guesses from across the world as to the elusive name of the author. As for the fellow presumably in charge, he couldn’t remember either, but seemed to reject the most popular choices of Lewis Carroll (Jabberwocky) and Geoffrey Chaucer (although pretty much everything written that long ago sounds peculiar). On the upside, at least we were able to explain how Capri Anderson and our continued dedication toward new technological skills tied in to this seemingly obscure question, so that was a bonus. As you’ll hear clearly for yourselves, should you peruse this post, of course, Capri does state clearly that she “was a Go-Go Dancer for Opium” … although we should probably mention that she may [does] mean a night club in Miami. Holding the bizarre local record, “Steve” responded that he didn’t have time to think about this question because he needed to build a chicken coop. Fearless Leader pretty much just got distracted by that concept and all that it could portend as he wandered away. Never underestimate the job security inherent in bewildering the bosses. 5/16/09	A really bad pun may not surprise you if you have much experience around here at all, but if it makes the anticipation less tense, even real groaners are pretty easy to ignore when you have Cheyenne Silver around to distract you. Now technically, we suppose, we should at least mention that today’s written diversion actually takes place in the life of Dee, but we’ll explain all of that inside. 5/13/09	Goodness gracious we have Lively Feminine Quirkiness on tap today, courtesy of Steve. (We should note that for years and years he has been “SteveD” on the site, since for years we had a “SteveH” here too. SteveH has now been gone for years and years now, and at the AEE 2009 convention SteveD officially requested that he be “just Steve” from now on. We suggested that he might sorry should newer members start confusing him with SteveH in some of the older stories herein, but then we realized that we learned to be kind to our elders, so now he’s Officially Just Steve. … To tell you the truth, we don’t have that many elders left, so it did seem appropriate. 5/8/09	After all these years of publishing on the web, you’d think we’d run out of different ways to handle the articles. Of course we don’t usually have Kylie submit 6,000+ words either, so we decided to conclude her Relative Violation account with the input of a second editor. Now while that may not be completely apparent to the novice member here, we can assure that this event raised more than a few eyebrows here at the office. You will want to celebrate because … why not? And if you’d just use that philosophy for other times in your life, like for days that end in “y” or something, you’d probably be a lot happier. 3/29/08	And now for something completely different. … OK. So those of you that have been members for some time probably realize that one could use that particular sentence referring to just about anything we’ve ever done around here. But we did make a conscious effort this time. After our last “topless girls pretending to wrestle” effort, we decided we should do something as far away from that “fluff” as possible. It didn’t take very long for someone to say, “Well, D.Minion on any of the Neo_ sets would fit that bill perfectly.” We decided this to be perfectly true, and so we’re heading into this particular “matrix” with DM on the set of Neo_Pornographia 4 – because why in the world would we start with number one, after all? Oh, and the person that came up with this idea has now received a very public “Thank You” for the suggestion, which turns out to be a lot cheaper than giving them an actual raise in salary. It seems that we’ve been ignoring those particular contributions, but we can assure you that it’s only because of volume rather than malice. (Never attribute to malice what stupidity can adequately explain.) 3/10/08	We’re going in search of Kylie today, although which one remains a bit of some conjecture. Now you have to consider that there are a few of them in XXX now, and then you have to factor in that each “persona” in our business tends to take on a wide variety of incarnations over time. Or maybe we just read about the process of Maverick coordinating a photo shoot for naked women utilizing almost no money. … Or (and this would be the more likely option, truth be told) we just look at a bunch of naked pictures of Kaz B and Masie and we pretty much ignore everything else. 10/25/07	Relationships are tricky animals. And relationships in the porn industry can be downright treacherous. Of course that doesn’t keep them from happening, and thus nothing keeps us from talking about them. Not to give too much away, and we’ll tell you right up front that we haven’t honestly seen the necessary sales or income reports required to be absolutely sure, but we’re thinking that The Simpsons Movie probably made more money. We don’t really have that many people working around here and everyone seems to be in the middle of one of those “Mega-Posts” that take a lot of time and organization. Consequently, if we ever make it through the queue, we’re quite certain you’ll be fascinated and intrigued … or maybe just entertained. We can live with either. Until then, we’ve taken a moment to appreciate Dee’s breasts, which if you’ve ever wondered turns out to be a dandy way to motivate people in the workplace. 11/19/06	Naturally most of you will be way too busy today watching football to see any of the insights that Maverick finally decided to give us (along with the “documentary” video naturally) from his last g/g shoot. Still, since they only have “that other kind of football” over there in the U.K., though, today seemed like a good time to give those dern foreigners (which is pretty much what we call everyone that doesn’t watch football, regardless of their place of domicile) something to do. The rest of you can catch it on Monday after work. No. … That won’t work because of Monday Night Football on ESPN, and since Thursdays are now gone starting this week with new night games on the NFL Network, you’re pretty much going to have to fit it in on Tuesday or Wednesday, or just make an excuse for being late for your weekend dates. 11/15/06	Oh, goodness we have many, many pictures today. We’re off for a couple of days to attend a Digital Video Convention down in LA, and we thought we’d give you a little to look at while we’re gone. Silly us. Maybe we should have thought this through a little more carefully before we plopped down some 300-odd (and some very odd) photos to go through in Days Two and Three of D.Minion’s typically epic coverage of the shoot. Ah well, it is the rest of the Aperture shoot, and so it is Heather Vuur, and Marie Luv, and Daisy Marie … and yada, yada. Sometimes people over-complicate things in life. 11/10/06	Ah-Hah! We have found the solution to the temptation to run off at the mouth/keyboard that we sometimes see around here. If you just limit the day to one scene, and then you place it in a location that’s functionally impossible for D.Minion to get to, you actually end up with a manageable amount of text and pictures that now define Day One on the set of Aperture. Wow. … Still, we see two sort of major problems with this. First, no human being we’ve ever met can claim any sort of influence over how Michael will do anything at all associated with his movies, and second, the trouble with finding solutions to temptations seems historically to be that the pesky temptations simply mutate into something a lot more formidable. 11/9/06	Sometimes things get lost in translation. That happens. … It doesn’t often happen, however, between the U.S. and the U.K. it would seem. Other than the odd “knickers” reference and a “fag” here or there confusion, we can really communicate fairly well we’ve always thought. Granted, we’ll never understand blood sausage, and although rugby has its appeal, to us a “cricket” will always be a harmless little bug that makes pleasant noises in the evening. Still, overall, we pretty much understand each other. Consequently, our scientists ought to be able to communicate just fine as well, right? Well obviously something got mucked up in the trek across the Atlantic because although we all know that carrots are good for our eyesight, the way that we get that nifty vitamin A into our systems somewhat differs from how they appear to over in Maverick’s land. 11/7/06	Another Ninn Worx shoot is in the books, or on the HD Tapes, or whatever, and we’re back in a much more peaceful land. Our favorite crew t-shirt of this shoot read: I’m like a Superhero – with no powers or motivation. That may not excuse much, but as an explanation we found it wonderful. Speaking of not having excuses, GO OUT AND VOTE TODAY. We’ve provided a little visual humor on which you can ruminate during your travels to the polls, and we don’t even care how you vote. It is most important that you do so, however. Pictures are just very brief moments in time, and your actions today have a chance to be a little more than that. OK.
