10/31/13	One of our telecommuting team members apparently has a tradition in his neighborhood where when the kids say “Trick or Treat” they get candy — while the adults get a shot of some sort, and not the kind that protects you from the flu. Now none of us has ever been to that particular neighborhood, but the kids probably run from house to house because it won’t be too long before mom and dad need to head home because they’re too drunk to walk much more. You’ll have to provide your own shots this evening but we have provided some dandy treats with Cytherea, Kylie Ireland, Syren Sexton, and even Summer Knight. 10/26/13	It seems like referencing Harold Hill in an adult web site might be a bit unusual, yet we happily do just that this time around. As you may know, however, we have not historically been all that concerned with “usual” in any of our approaches to life. On the other hand, we also pay tribute to a $1,500 sex toy, which falls closer to the adult members’ site norm. Of course we did title the current article, “Oh, We Got Treble.” So there’s that. 10/22/13	Never one to worry much about her own wardrobe, we were a bit surprised when D.Minion showed up in the office insisting that everyone check out her new shirt. It says, “I have CDO, which is like OCD but in alphabetical order — as it should be.” … Suddenly everything made more sense, a bit like when you discover that a professional model might often make a darned good photographer. We use Dee as an example of this last theory, because overall she might hold more universal interest than D.Minion, even with the funny shirt. 10/17/13	Consider the concept of the Practical Homonym, these being words that may not technically “sound the same” but given the actualities of our speech patterns do in fact come across as identical to the ear. For example, Bijou spearheaded a track today which ended up being entitled “Minstrel Machinations,” but when she tried to explain the idea to the rest of us, we heard “Menstrual Machinations.” … Those seem different, really. … Fortunately we’re going with the former of those two concepts, so fear not. And if you think we made up the concept of the practical homonym, we can prove that we did not. Think about it: Country Music would not exist without it. So there. 10/13/13	Name a famous anthropologist. OK. Now name one that never had anything to do with primates. Better yet, name a famous “-ologist” of any kind, not including the fictional ones on television or in books. Fortunately, around here we can illustrate our “-ologies” with all sorts of interesting things, for example Keri Windsor, or even the still happily married Wendy Divine and Eric Masterson. In fact, you can happily pretend you have never learned anything as a member here. Should that turn out to be true, however, and you at some point meet any of us in person, please lie about it. 10/11/13	Everyone needs a friend they can go to with the really tough questions. And this friend should be available for most any emergency, at most any time. Well, not all of us can claim Dee fits into that category for them, but we can happily do so. She does seem a little confused when we call to ask her what kind of yellow mustard to buy or something — as if we’d call just to hear her voice or anything — but as long as she picks up the phone she sounds as adorable as ever. It has been going to voice mail a lot lately, though, so hopefully we won’t have anything other than condiment emergencies for a while. 10/8/13	When Kristal Summers asks you do do something, you pretty much just agree quickly. 10/5/13	Today could have been all about our leader’s brother. Or it could have been all about our editor’s best friend from college, since both of them have birthdays today. Fortunately your knowledge of semantic nuance makes absolutely no difference at all today, as you can consider plaid a fad, or not consider it at all. 10/31/09	A grand thing about operating an adult web site comes up on this particular date every year. You see, we don’t have much trouble coming up with celebratory treats; in fact, we rather enjoy it. (And if you’re wondering we certainly don’t know anything about anyone turning tricks, because that would be wrong after all.) So when Maverick had an idea this year, and the idea included Juli Ashton, well, it sounded like an excellent plan. The supporting cast of Madison and Mackenzie seemed willing, and we got an excuse to flavor the event (so to speak) with Capri Anderson again — always a good time. So how far off track could this go? Yeah, well, it seems like maybe holidays are different in Europe. Still, it’s another festive day in our strange lives. 10/28/09	You don’t need to spend much time with the Members Section before you figure out that things tend to go in waves around here for some reason. (The writer had originally termed this going “in spurts” when he submitted the project, but upon proofing the text that seemed like maybe a poor way to describe something on an adult site — at least for a post that only has women in it.) We’ve been doing a good bit of Dee lately (not the fun way that sounds, sadly, though), but for whatever reason the stories have all been the “hanging around in life” sorts and not the “dressed up (or not) for work as a porn star” sorts. At the risk of too much Dee, we decided to go ahead with a collection of those “gussied-up” shots this time around. 10/26/09	Odds seem pretty good that most of you didn’t spend the weekend explaining to co-workers that a bye week in the NFL does not mean that a team takes a week off so that the players can spend a romantic weekend away together. Sigh. … Less complicated to understand, apparently, would be another installment of Dee at KSEX, although this time we’re throwing in a bonus segment of Dee in more traditional aspects of everyday life — nurturing a new puppy, demonstrating why it’s good to keep the water circulating in your swimming pool, and bopping naked around the office. 10/22/09	Age turns out to be one of those things that just remains difficult to wrap your head around. As the football savvy in the office kept trying to explain how young (the Denver Broncos new) coach Josh McDaniels happens to be to D.Minion, she just didn’t seem to really comprehend the concept. “He’s seven years younger than Julia Ann,” we explained, and then our fair Minion understood. Both DM and Lon attended Julia’s Party for 40 (years, not people) and since then D.Minion has been sleeping and Lon has been smiling. Maybe it’s a testosterone thing. 10/12/09	For some people, talking the talk and walking the walk seem to be disjointed concepts at best. 10/10/09	It seemed logical that after showing off some Pretty in Pink we ought reasonably demonstrate a Beautiful in Blue segment. After all, we’re nothing around here if not colorful. True, you might be able to find those that would characterize our approach as more dubious and erratic than colorful, but some people tend toward the very narrow-minded. Have you noticed? Besides, have you ever tried to find whimsy in even a very impressive black and white image? You can find drama, certainly, but fun requires a full spectrum view, which we clearly provide around here. And we needn’t exactly tell you who’s on tap to titillate today, we just have to say that we have Georgia on our Mind, and we’re not even thinking about Willie Nelson. Works for us. 10/7/09	Two Interns actually showed up to work most of the summer this year, but sadly they’ve both now had to return to school, presumably to learn how to do much more important things than we do around here. Were we better people, we’d take this opportunity to wish them well, thank them for their efforts, and assure them that we’d keep a spot open for them next year, due (no doubt) to their sterling character and exceptional skills. Now while all of that certainly qualifies as true, we are not “better people” per se, so we’re just jumping in with Juli, Kristal, and Dee — and demonstrating definitively what book-learning can cost one. I was sitting outside a little sandwich shop yesterday and a guy walked down the street in one of those t-shirts that have obviously been washed about 500 times – you know the “favorite shirt” kind of washing? The shirt said, “If we are what we eat, then I’m going to be you in the morning.” THAT’S how you know you’re in Los Angeles. Now you might want to decide if you’d rather spend a few days in LA, or (finally) peruse D.Minon’s account of the 2006 AEE. They should both take about the same amount of time, we’re betting, but the DM insights will still be cheaper, so they have that going for them. 2/21/06	We’ve got a Big Time Stall going on around here today, but that doesn’t matter as much because we’ve also got the luscious Sarah Blake to help us fill our time. We’ve often said that we lead a very strange life, but it may be that strangeness has no bounds around us. A graduating high school senior (Yes, he’s 18, D.Minon.) casually asked me at lunch if I knew anything about Porn Stars. It seems his final paper has to do with “Women Enslaved by Pornography.” And the only thing this kid knows about me is that I’m friends with his dad. I expect I’d better ask Dad how much I can tell the young inquiring mind. As it turns out, I probably do know something about this subject. The rest of you should probably just enjoy Sarah. Once a distant Kristal Summers fan, then a shy Members’ Party attendee, and eventually a regular visitor to the Risqué homefront, our friend Maverick has taken a professional turn that’s really hard to explain. Now it’s not so much that the industry has a new webmaster among its members as it is that Maverick is that new persona. We know Maverick, and Maverick does NOT shoot POV videos with professional adult entertainers. Something is very, very wrong in the universe. We’re calling this “Fayed to Maverick” but that’s only for as long as it takes us to find that “Turn Back Time” Machine. 7/27/05	Oh, boy … Now we’ve done it. For those of you that aren’t members of both sites, Michael (over at MichaelNinn.com obviously) recently wanted us to try putting D.Minion stories about his shoots over on his site too. Now we’ve always put them here if they inolved anyone we know and love, but a silly as it sounds Mr. Ninn sometimes does shoots that don’t include any Risqué women. I know. Crazy, huh? Anyway he loved the way it looked and the response it got, so now he wants us to do them for EVERY Ninn Worx shoot. Now it may not seem like it, but it’s a lot of work to post these stories the way we do, and since The Risqué Clan represents the major focus around here, we came up with a plan. We agreed to the task on the condition that y’all could see the “other” Ninn shoot stories too, and Michael agreed (happily, we might add). So today you get to see Porn Star which, although not technically starring anyone from our group, the movie does rather heavily relay on some personalities you may be very familiar with. That’s all we’ll say. We don’t mind helping Michael, but we’re still going to be nice about it. 7/25/05	One would think that working in the XXX Industry would be a fairly good job. Now we should probably dispell some myths here before we even get started, so “bare” [sic, we know] with us as we try not to ruin too many fantasies. … Hmm … This might be too large of a topic for a “New Stuff” lead-in, so let’s just go with the Bigee Myth: Women in the Porn Industry don’t actually have sex with anyone, anywhere, at the drop of a hat, or even trousers. OK. That’s over with. Actually this works exactly like most jobs. Everything gets old if you do it often enough. Honestly, the technical production of your favorite Adult Fare, probably wasn’t nearly as romantic as you might imagine. Put in more understandable terms, if you’re married it’s not that your spouse has “lost something” nearly so much as it is that you’re just really, really used to it. So don’t feel bad. (Do something about it, but don’t just sit around feeling bad.) More on point for the rest of us, as to today’s purposes we’ve called our wonderfully illustrated insights “Down in the Dolldrums” [still sic, we know]. 7/13/05	Well we assume that figuring out what went wrong should make us feel better, but basically it just means that we have a lot of “fixing” to do. Sigh. Still, the first lost story that surfaced from technical oblivion happened to be D.Minion’s account of the same Innocence shoot that Lon had an account of … sort of. There were a couple of shoots going on at the same time, and DM (this time around) only accounted for ONE of the two while still managing to get in 280 pictures and over 6,000 words. This is one of those many, many words posts, y’all, so prepare yourselves while we go look for some more of what we lost. Don’t worry too much though: We’re only looking for lost stories. We gave up looking for our minds some time ago. 7/7/05	Sometimes Lon just says it best. He had a chance to visit one of Michael’s sets a while back, and he had a camera with him (imagine that). Now we’re really not certain about what exposure methods this particular camera utilized, but there are naked girls in the pictures, so we assume Lon had some plan in mind. We do know that Long giggled a lot after this particular trip, but we really should stop talking about this now. We wouldn’t want to Wax Lon, Wax Off, after all. Lon does a bunch of that himself.
