7/27/05	Oh, boy … Now we’ve done it. For those of you that aren’t members of both sites, Michael (over at MichaelNinn.com obviously) recently wanted us to try putting D.Minion stories about his shoots over on his site too. Now we’ve always put them here if they inolved anyone we know and love, but a silly as it sounds Mr. Ninn sometimes does shoots that don’t include any Risqué women. I know. Crazy, huh? Anyway he loved the way it looked and the response it got, so now he wants us to do them for EVERY Ninn Worx shoot. Now it may not seem like it, but it’s a lot of work to post these stories the way we do, and since The Risqué Clan represents the major focus around here, we came up with a plan. We agreed to the task on the condition that y’all could see the “other” Ninn shoot stories too, and Michael agreed (happily, we might add). So today you get to see Porn Star which, although not technically starring anyone from our group, the movie does rather heavily relay on some personalities you may be very familiar with. That’s all we’ll say. We don’t mind helping Michael, but we’re still going to be nice about it. 7/25/05	One would think that working in the XXX Industry would be a fairly good job. Now we should probably dispell some myths here before we even get started, so “bare” [sic, we know] with us as we try not to ruin too many fantasies. … Hmm … This might be too large of a topic for a “New Stuff” lead-in, so let’s just go with the Bigee Myth: Women in the Porn Industry don’t actually have sex with anyone, anywhere, at the drop of a hat, or even trousers. OK. That’s over with. Actually this works exactly like most jobs. Everything gets old if you do it often enough. Honestly, the technical production of your favorite Adult Fare, probably wasn’t nearly as romantic as you might imagine. Put in more understandable terms, if you’re married it’s not that your spouse has “lost something” nearly so much as it is that you’re just really, really used to it. So don’t feel bad. (Do something about it, but don’t just sit around feeling bad.) More on point for the rest of us, as to today’s purposes we’ve called our wonderfully illustrated insights “Down in the Dolldrums” [still sic, we know]. Oh, and to cover that first point, “one would think that working in the XXX Industry would be a fairly good job.” One would still be right. 7/21/05	What do you know, Night Calls has a new Tramp. (D.Minion’s going to kill me for that joke.) Actually before the next episode, we’re posting the behind the scenes on the last episode, which makes this the earliest we’ve been late all month. 7/20/05	This photograph would be of Anais, as the knowledgeable among you have probably figured out already. Now doesn’t she look like she’s waiting for some type of explanation? Oddly enough it may not be the type of explanation you’re expecting, as we’re really mostly showing off Michele Morgan, Inari Vachs, and Evan Stone today, even as we’re talking about something else entirely. 7/17/05	Y’all know about “Sneaky Pete?” … Well hopefully Michael doesn’t either, or if he does, hopefully he doesn’t read about him here. And if he does read about him here, hopefully he won’t read so far as to be able to make some Fragile connections. And if he does make those connections …. Well, this seems to be reaching a complicated structure rather quickly, don’t you think? How about this: Look at some really beautiful and talented people, but don’t tell anybody about it. 7/13/05	Well we assume that figuring out what went wrong should make us feel better, but basically it just means that we have a lot of “fixing” to do. Sigh. Still, the first lost story that surfaced from technical oblivion happened to be D.Minion’s account of the same Innocence shoot that Lon had an account of … sort of. There were a couple of shoots going on at the same time, and DM (this time around) only accounted for ONE of the two while still managing to get in 280 pictures and over 6,000 words. This is one of those many, many words posts, y’all, so prepare yourselves while we go look for some more of what we lost. Don’t worry too much though: We’re only looking for lost stories. We gave up looking for our minds some time ago. Call this D.Minion’s take on “Innocence and Slutty Innocence.” Oh, and there was a tie in the voting for the thumbnail to include here, so we just used them both. They both seem rather indicative of D.Minion’s various views anyway … . 7/11/05	Hmm. Despite today’s date, we haven’t found very much “convenient” over the past weekend. Internal strife is never so annoying as when it has external ramifications. Fortunately, that’s all the philosophy for today. 7/7/05	Sometimes Lon just says it best. He had a chance to visit one of Michael’s sets a while back, and he had a camera with him (imagine that). Now we’re really not certain about what exposure methods this particular camera utilized, but there are naked girls in the pictures, so we assume Lon had some plan in mind. We do know that Long giggled a lot after this particular trip, but we really should stop talking about this now. We wouldn’t want to Wax Lon, Wax Off, after all. Lon does a bunch of that himself. 6/30/05	You know what? We haven’t been talking about Dee enough. For awhile we just thought these uncomfortable feelings were just from the long hours at Ninn Worx, or trying to get a deep understanding of really sexy subjects like “video compression techniques” or something. We even gave the “must have had some bad seafood” theory a brief visit, but then we realized that unless it comes wrapped in paper, we haven’t eaten it lately. Then we saw Dee at LA Erotica and we realized the obvious truth of the matter: We haven’t been talking about Dee enough. You know, you can spend time with your head buried in codec geekdom, on machines that cost many thousands of dollars, and you still miss the simple stuff. 6/27/05	Conventions and Events pretty much describe the modern working world in America. No matter what you do for a living, there’s almost certainly a convention somewhere (every year) that brings all of you like-minded people together … probably to talk amongst yourselves about how hideous it is to try to do what you do for a living. … well … We have those also. And we also have those Events that really, really want to be in this “essential” catagory, so that they might make a bunch of money off of all of us too. Consider LA Erotica. Now the people that attend this paticular convention are much more interesting than the folks that pay money to display their wares, as it were, but it’s still a rather fun place to hang out for a bit. This year it cost $30 per person, per day, and that probably makes some accountant happy somewhere. We just went for the pretty girls. Sometimes simple is best. We’re really trying to get into the wedding spirit here, by the way. We have something old, something new, something borrowed … but, darn it, we just can’t be blue about it. 6/17/05	It seemed appropriate that we end our first “Official Juli Ashton Week” as we began it — with a D.Minion recap of Night Calls, this time from May of 2005. Not only does it bring us up to date on Juli’s wonderful television program, but it also serves on the eve of a special day for a very special friend. Some of you may know that a couple of Memorial Days back Playboy TV once played nothing but Juli Ashton and Essentially Juli for 24 hours straight. Now you tell me anyone else in the history of adult entertainment that can say that a network has done that for them, and then we can go ahead and discuss vague concepts like “influence” and Fame. 6/10/05	We’ve been thinking a lot about this “special week” coming up, so we decided to spend a little time with our friend. 11/26/04	It seems we’re groaning back into the web business today, albeit via a rather slow entrance. It doesn’t take much intellect to figure out which one of these might be the most fun, but let’s just say both are inifinitely preferable to coming to the realization of just how effectively the world can go on in our absence. 11/3/04	The election was yesterday, and although it may not technically be “over” yet, the fat lady’s certainly warming up in the on-deck circle. Regardless of how you feel about the results of the contest this time around, at least we now have a President that a majority of the American people voted for, and that’s got to count for something. [If Kerry hasn’t conceded yet, he’ll do so soon. He’s a lot of things, but stupid isn’t among them.] So rather than bore everyone with political commentary, of which we’ve had a plethora of late, we decided to focus on the next election and offer a suggestion of Juli Ashton for President. 2/29/04	It seems like that on a rare day such as “Leap Year’s Day” we should celebrate something even more rare. Juli Ashton seems to fit the bill, and so we genuflect anew — albeit obviously with good reason. We all have envisioned the “Dream Date” and Juli on occasion apparently makes these come true. 2/28/04	A Risqué Mexican Holiday surfaces today, serving a dual function of distracting many from really bad local weather and fascinating the erudite among us with historic trivia. OK, we actually do name them, but you’re going to have to deal with the words to find out who they are, unless you can tell from this angle. 2/26/04	It’s officially less than a week away from the return of Night Calls from its long hiatus. If you look carefully, you can see that “hiatus” is not really all that far from “Hate Us,” and if you ask most Juli Ashton and Tiffany Granath fans they’d consider those words synonyms for sure. Add in the fact that a scheduling conflict kept D.Minion from the first January show, and then you can sort of explain why Night Calls, January 21, 2004 runs about … oh … TWICE AS LONG as one of D.Minion’s usual stories. Still, it’s Juli and the gang, and we’ll likely forgive them their abscence as we usually do. This episode will also tell you when you should go to Jamaica to meet Juli and Tiffany in person, but you’ll have to be a member to find out. We’re like that. 2/23/04	Well we’ve got quite the treat for you today as Maverick has continued to work his Photoshop fingers to the bone. He was trying out some new techniques we showed him and decided to choose … well, Kristal … to practice on. Go figure. We also have D.Minion’s account of the very first time we saw Ms. Anais in front of our lens, and Michael has given us some “action” shots from her recent romp with Carol’s favorite Billy Glide. So we’ve got Anais before she was Anais, Anais after she was Anais, and lots and lots of Kristal Summers. Back in mid 2002, D.Minion covered one of Devinn’s first web cam shows, and since we seem to be on that tangent this week, we thought we’d show it to you. Life sometimes has a way of switching directions on you, and sometimes that’s sad, but we’ll state categorically (and not for the first time), that Devinn Lane is one very pretty lady. 2/14/04	What do Mr. Marcus and a Sybian have in common? They can both put some really interesting faces on naked women. 2/12/04	Since we’re upon the Valentine’s Day Weekend we thought to ourselves, “Hey, what could be more appropriate than D.Minion’s coverage of Wendy in Wicked’s Sex and Romance?” Make sense so far? So we’ve got Wendy Divine and Eric Masterson having torrid sex on a table, where Jessica Drake happens to be lunching, apparently oblivious, although it sounds like she snuck a little play in there secretly. Fair enough. Why then, we must ask D.Minion, was the only photo in the set, taken at the highest resolution and highest frame size (an unusual setting for us), the photo below? 2/10/04	The lead-in to the local Los Angeles evening news the other night teased with, “Today the Mars Rover took its first microscopic pictures of a nearby rock.” Most of the really good copy writers around here wanted to immediately quit and get a job with “The Southland’s #1 News” if that was the best they could come up with. That really has nothing to do with another episode of D.Minion’s coverage of Dee and the Fat Men on KSEX radio, but we promised to give these wonderful people public credit so they wouldn’t run off and join the Legitimate Press. Bleh. And even though we’re in the middle of the next Innocence shoot for Ninn Worx, Dee finished an Ultimate Pictures movie and continues her twice-weekly Nooner Naughtiness, Kristal Summers continues to line up several more boys to bonk for bucks, Anais shot (yet again) for Suze Randall, and both Georgia Adair and Angel Cassidy are busy putting together budgets and shooting schedules (and those pesky contracts) for each of their respective personal lines (also for Ninn Worx) … even though all of that was taking place, we still managed to buy pizza for everyone for lunch. We think geeks like pizza better than praise. We also think we’ve probably stalled enough. Enjoy!
