8/30/08	Oops. You’ve undoubtedly read somewhere about the importance of being a good example for your children, indeed for anyone around you as a practical matter. You know, “You lead much better by example than you ever will by direction” and all that. (For now let’s just forget about that whole Machiavellian philosophy and Sun Tzu, Art of War things. They’re overrated anyway.) … Well, somewhere along the line our buddy Maverick determined that our particular brand of humor must constitute the “proper” way of all web presentation. Consequently if you decide to foray further today, you’ll likely see some, um, video creation that firmly demonstrates our failure as exemplary figures. Of course Mav now thinks that every American uses “y’all” as a part of their normal conversation and all of us have alarm clocks that play “Titties ‘n’ Beer” every morning. 8/29/08	Oh, D.Minion was floating in the excited clouds today. She’s learning video editing — because creative people always get bored, basically — and she decided to start with a video scene from Essentially Juli between Taren Steele and Juli Ashton. Yeah, well … …So we had to substitute a scene featuring Taren Steele and Shayla LaVeaux (albeit on their own, so to speak) from Screen Play (not available anymore). Still if you have to pull a substitute off the bench, it’s good if you have Shayla in reserve. Everyone should. 8/24/08	All good things come to an end, at least that’s what people who are trying to rationalize their condition after realizing that they won’t be able to enjoy something that has been really fun try to think. For us, having the Olympics on pretty much all the time in the office has been a splendid way to add a little mix to the mesh. We will miss it for the next couple of years, but we have learned about a whole lot of countries we’d never even heard of, so that’s a bonus. Also for us, assisting Maverick with his redesign has come to an end as well — which goes to show that even not necessarily all that good things come to an end too. Whew. Now we’re able to go back to the more fun adventures, this time involving our much more traditional entertainment in Kristal Summers and Dee. Everyone should have closets full of things like we do. 8/22/08	Maverick laughed at our gentle jibes yesterday, consequently we’ve decided to run his Day Two experiences from Erotica LA this year, just to demonstrate his substantially more typically human side. Any time you’re faced with a basically endless potential for variable interpretation it can be daunting to even attempt any sort of “mastery” in your approach. True to our optimistic nature, however, we’ve learned an important secret to remember if ever you find yourself faced with any sort of depressing reality: Some people have altogether too much free time. … Enter Maverick. 8/20/08	We’ve all heard that “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.” … Uh-Huh. It must be in the Mom Handbook that this constitutes the appropriate response to a crying child’s complaint about being “copied” by someone. … We’ve all also learned that this sentiment doesn’t really help us feel better at all. 8/15/08	It seems like our invitation to the big premiere party for “The Four” must have gotten lost in the mail. Dang. Consequently we decided rather to spend our entertainment dollars on Rodney Carrington, who happened to be in town. We figured out why Mr. Carrington enjoys our site (at least as much as we’re sure he would if he actually knew who we are, naturally). Early in his act he relates a story about going to church that certainly sounds like us. “My heart’s in the right place,” he says, “It’s just my mind that wanders off into the gutter.” … Now this really has nothing whatsoever to do with D.Minion’s coverage of Angel Cassidy Exposed, but it was funny. And if you know us at all, you know that this pretty much covers the minimum threshold requirements for us to talk about it. If you aim low in life, you’re rarely disappointed. Feel free to quote us. 8/12/08	We can’t help it. International sports has been a common topic of conversation around the office this week, and so we got to wondering. Don’t you think they could draw in a lot more consistent interest in gymnastics if they just took that little 4” beam and raised it up about 30 feet into the air? You could at least pull in the NASCAR and Ultimate Fighting Fans, and they drink beer. Somebody should tell Budweiser. …Well, it was just a thought. And as it turns out, a rather adventurous woman had a thought of a slightly different kind as she showed up during one of Dee’s KSEX shows and proceeded to — well, let’s call it try to make her team. While Dee was busy being au naturel, D.Minion was naturally providing visual documentation of the event. No word from the judges yet, but you members let us know. 8/11/08	Oh, good grief! We turned on the Olympics each of the past two weekend mornings, and can you guess what NBC was showing? Yep. Rowing. … Worse yet, on Saturday, the UK team beat the US team, although we can’t say we were paying enough attention to determine if this happened to be some qualifying heat or some other kind. Still, what are the odds? Well, in addition to dodging phone calls from Maverick we also decided to show off something that not even one Olympic competitor can claim. Dee. 8/8/08	We had to post today, because all those eights are really good luck, and we can generally use all the luck we can find. If you knew about eights being good luck, and you’re not Chinese, then odds are good you’ve been watching all the hype for the opening of the Olympic Games in Beijing tonight. In the spirit of friendly competition we thought we’d feature a couple of a different kind of athlete today, albeit in slightly less clothing. OK, actually Faith Leon and Puma Swede basically have no clothing at all, which really makes it hard to get those endorsement deals, you know. Maybe if Nike starts making high heels or something. … So in the spirit of friendly taunting (that often accompanies that friendly competition), we called Maverick to ask if the Brits even watch the Olympics or if it’s just too depressing. Mav said they often do well in “rowing” …. Uh-Huh. We often pop down to the sports bar and slug down some beers while we watch “rowing” on TV. That sure gets exciting. Don’t they have a silly name for it like skullduggery or something? Sometimes the world stage ain’t all it’s cracked up to be, and you should really just watch girl on girl porn. 8/2/08	Although we’re thankfully back to the “beautiful naked woman” philosophy, somehow our beloved D.Minion has managed to work in 70’s television themes, specifically involving The Mod Squad this time around. We’ve often wondered how DM’s unusual brain actually works, and then we pretty quickly become very afraid that some day we’ll find out. … If you drink enough beer quickly after these disturbing thoughts, it can help take away the fright, by the way. 11/26/05	We have, you may have noticed, perhaps a slight tendency toward the insouciant. Believing fully in the value of the irreverent, though, we’ve nonetheless somehow managed to offend sufficiently few individuals to still be around a full decade after venturing into the now antiquated BBS form of the Internet. Well, things have a tendency to keep moving along, and the value of this retrospective potential spawned the last post of our “Thanksgiving Week, 2005.” We had one remaining D.Minion story for an old compatriot, and we decided this would be a good time to use it. So we did. Hey, once we finally decide something, at least we get right with the program. By the way, if you ever hear us plan on putting up a post every day for a week, no matter what our benevolent intentions, will someone please call a doctor? Someone’s clearly very ill at the office. 11/25/05	So today’s one of those days you’re supposed to be sitting around remembering the 70’s commercial: “I can’t believe I ate the whole thing.” Well, maybe that’s what you’re supposed to be doing. What you’re probably doing is sitting around remembering how many variations on a turkey theme you’re going to have to go through to get rid of all of the leftovers and swearing you’re having pizza for Christmas dinner this year. 11/23/05	Michael’s finally got a new home for Ninn Worx, so he’s happy. And tomorrow we get to see Santa Claus in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, so what’s not to be happy about? 11/22/05	We’re continuing our thankful ways today with a look back at Dee – before she had her own show on Playboy/Spice TV, and before she had her own show twice a week on KSEX. It’s a Night Calls sort of a post, this being rather of the Night Calls 411 variety. You know, we’re even fairly confident that we can think of at least one anonymous, but faithful, member that will be very thankful for these shots of Nikki Nova and her sidekick Crystal Knight. 11/21/05	Well, it’s the beginning of Thanksgiving Week, and so we thought we’d do some giving of thanks this week. We’ve always thought that if you can’t be clever, you can always just be literal. So we’re starting with Julia Ann because quite honestly Julia came to us near to perfect and she moved on just the same way. It would be nice to think that we had a lot to do with Julia’s success over the years, but that’s just not the case. Julia’s seriously one of the most sincere and caring individuals we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with, and the fact that she used to spend time naked over at the house just kind of worked as a bonus over the years. Now if you ever happen to see Julia Ann on tour somewhere, be sure and tell her about all of the nice things we’ve said about her, and then see if she’ll get naked for you. 11/19/05	Oops. Juli Ashton and Tiffany Grannath make a quick appearance today, as we’ve once again been baffled by the “regular” Night Calls schedule that Playboy TV promises. Now the Halloween Episode did provide its predictable wackiness, and D.Minion even got a picture of a naked band member this time around, although before you get too excited we should “note” that it happens to be a male, so his member may not be as interesting as you might imagine. That said, we also snuck a secret bonus from last week, in our typically Maverick attitude around here. 11/6/05	Our “Ninn Worx Weekends” make a stellar return today with its usual bevy of comely lasses, which is really rather funny when you consider that we’re talking about the latest installment of POP. We also debut the appearance of the Existential Comic in what may turn out to be his only appearance in these wonderful pages – not that he’d care much one way or the other. 8/31/05	Did you ever notice how life tends to go in cycles? You know how you won’t even think about a certain restaurant for months and then all of the sudden you’ll end up there three times in two weeks? Weird, isn’t it? Well, that seems to be what’s happened here, although it certainly didn’t originate as any sort of a plan or anything. We seem to have gone from the Ninn Worx barrage to Angel Cassidy week as today we find D.Minion “Enraptured” with the comely lass as she was on set shooting the last of her contract movies for Michael. All we know is we’ve gone from the “camel through the eye of the needle” analysis to a movie called Rapture. We’re thinking we’d better be on our P’s and Q’s for a little bit, which we define around here as Perspicaciously Quixotic. 8/29/05	What do you do if you have to spend all day with Anais, Angel Cassidy, and Wanda Curtis, watching them get naked and pose glamorously for the multiple cameras in the room? Well, if you’re D.Minion you forget all about it, at least that’s what happened this time. We were going through a bunch of discs, looking for a good shot for the upcoming Angel Cassidy Exposed, and D.Minion became positive she had never seen these sets before. “Um,” I said. (I often use eloquent speech patterns such as this.) “You were there,” I explained (as I endeavor to be both erudite and patient). “You even wrote a story about it,” I concluded. “I did?” said our Diminutive One. “Did you ever put it up?” “Probably not,” I confessed. “I miss a lot of old stuff because of all of the new stuff.” Well, as you may have guessed, D.Minion found the story and the accompanying pictures, and now you can see them today. Also, we have concluded that not only do we occasionally dazzle with our impressive use of the English language, we often have some trouble just getting to the point. Have you noticed? We call it … Promotion on an Angelic Scale … And we’ll just be quiet now. By the way, this would be Angelic Anais, Angelic Angel, but Wanda Curtis is not pictured (and that’s a damned shame). 8/28/05	Ah, vacation is nice. You take a couple of days off, and you come back and work through a couple of nice little stories about Dee from the early days of KSEX, those being 2/12/04 and 8/19/04 and you look through about 50 nice pictures. Then you read some nice D.Minion insights, and you watch the Broncos win a meaningless game that has the Denver press advising the NFL to just go ahead and ship the Super Bowl XL Lombardi trophy to Colorado now. 8/24/05	Now this post was supposed to go up before we took off out of town to shoot the next batch of Ninn Worx shows, these being Neo_Pornographia 3 and Angel Cassidy Exposed. That was the plan anyway. We even bribed a couple people to stay late on Friday just to help put all of the galleries together for what we’re calling Catherine … The Finished. (Available in both the Standard Double-Disc and Limited Editition Collector’s versions, don’t you know.) But the combination of being in a hurry, and being all but beaten to death turned out not to be really very helpful. For some reason, we couldn’t get the darned images to show up when we tried to test the pages on the web. This morning, back from LA, and much better rested, we discovered that we forgot to put the pictures and the trailer on the server. 8/20/05	Well, it’s done. We still can’t really say the name of it without fear of irritating the nervous twitch we’ve developed, but IT has been delivered to the replicators, all 5+ hours of it, not counting the 10 or so it would take someone to go through all of the DVD ROM part of the Bonus Disc. … So we were going to put up one last post to advertise it, and we asked D.Minion to pick “a few” shots from the show to give you all. Deep in the [censored]-throws, she came up with 240 of them. Rather than wait to get all of these processed, we decided to just pop in a nice little Night Calls story, with nice little Juli Ashton and Tiffany Granath antics. It’s got to be about time for another episode of the series, and this way we’ll actually be caught up here ahead of time. 8/15/05	We’ve got just about enough time before Monday Night Football starts on ESPN to Pop up a quick little diddy about our Dear friend Dee. We can’t explain too much here because we don’t have a lot of time, but we did want to miss at least the first few minutes of the broadcast because, frankly, we’re very tired of hearing about Terrell Owens. 8/12/05	We don’t want to talk about it. We’re not mentioning the name of the movie, and we’re not mentioning the name of the lead character, because that would be mentioning the name of the movie. Instead, we’re going to concentrate on Anais, and more completely on Anais and some of her pleasant diversions with Angel Cassidy and Wanda Curtis. That’s it. 8/4/05	Hmm. We’re not quite sure how to respond when the guy brought in for a few weeks to help out starts making fun of the guy that signs the paychecks around here — publicly. Well, that’s not exactly accurate, as the various members of our motley crew seem to be quite amused by the turn of events, and it’s only the “Geeky Guy” that’s having some issue with it. Ah, well, it does appear that something’s gone amiss (yet again, I know) with some of the scripts on the server, and after going through what remains of Catherine late yesterday, and then looking at a calendar, I just decided to laugh about everything anyway. Sometimes that’s what you gotta do. When life gives you lemons, as we’ve learned, you find someone that life has given vodka — and have a party. So while I’m off in search of vodka, or a few more hours in the day, enjoy some wonderful shots of Inari Vachs that I happened to run across “unpublished” as they were. Naturally, I found these when I was looking for something else entirely — naturally. You know, back when Deb was writing for us, she used to call me the “Big Dick” on the site. 8/3/05	We might just be getting old, but this whole Catherine … Michael … Ninn Worx … thing is kicking our collective butts. And these aren’t the fun kind of butts to collect in this business either. So we’re having a wee bit of another Sneak Peek, and we’re not even trying to hide it this time around. Hell, if we went anywhere to hide, we’d certainly fall asleep, and then we’d never get this sucker done. You know what we need? We need some more nice little movies all about Dee, or Kristal, or even Wendy or Anais. We need something that didn’t involve thousands of miles of travel and tens (of tens) of thousands of dollars to work on. That’s what we need. 7/27/05	Oh, boy … Now we’ve done it. For those of you that aren’t members of both sites, Michael (over at MichaelNinn.com obviously) recently wanted us to try putting D.Minion stories about his shoots over on his site too. Now we’ve always put them here if they inolved anyone we know and love, but a silly as it sounds Mr. Ninn sometimes does shoots that don’t include any Risqué women. I know. Crazy, huh? Anyway he loved the way it looked and the response it got, so now he wants us to do them for EVERY Ninn Worx shoot. Now it may not seem like it, but it’s a lot of work to post these stories the way we do, and since The Risqué Clan represents the major focus around here, we came up with a plan. We agreed to the task on the condition that y’all could see the “other” Ninn shoot stories too, and Michael agreed (happily, we might add). So today you get to see Porn Star which, although not technically starring anyone from our group, the movie does rather heavily relay on some personalities you may be very familiar with. That’s all we’ll say. We don’t mind helping Michael, but we’re still going to be nice about it. 7/25/05	One would think that working in the XXX Industry would be a fairly good job. Now we should probably dispell some myths here before we even get started, so “bare” [sic, we know] with us as we try not to ruin too many fantasies. … Hmm … This might be too large of a topic for a “New Stuff” lead-in, so let’s just go with the Bigee Myth: Women in the Porn Industry don’t actually have sex with anyone, anywhere, at the drop of a hat, or even trousers. OK. That’s over with. Actually this works exactly like most jobs. Everything gets old if you do it often enough. Honestly, the technical production of your favorite Adult Fare, probably wasn’t nearly as romantic as you might imagine. Put in more understandable terms, if you’re married it’s not that your spouse has “lost something” nearly so much as it is that you’re just really, really used to it. So don’t feel bad. (Do something about it, but don’t just sit around feeling bad.) More on point for the rest of us, as to today’s purposes we’ve called our wonderfully illustrated insights “Down in the Dolldrums” [still sic, we know]. Oh, and to cover that first point, “one would think that working in the XXX Industry would be a fairly good job.” One would still be right. 7/20/05	This photograph would be of Anais, as the knowledgeable among you have probably figured out already. Now doesn’t she look like she’s waiting for some type of explanation? 7/17/05	Y’all know about “Sneaky Pete?” … Well hopefully Michael doesn’t either, or if he does, hopefully he doesn’t read about him here. 7/13/05	Well we assume that figuring out what went wrong should make us feel better, but basically it just means that we have a lot of “fixing” to do. Sigh. Still, the first lost story that surfaced from technical oblivion happened to be D.Minion’s account of the same Innocence shoot that Lon had an account of … sort of. There were a couple of shoots going on at the same time, and DM (this time around) only accounted for ONE of the two while still managing to get in 280 pictures and over 6,000 words. This is one of those many, many words posts, y’all, so prepare yourselves while we go look for some more of what we lost. Don’t worry too much though: We’re only looking for lost stories. We gave up looking for our minds some time ago. Call this D.Minion’s take on “Innocence and Slutty Innocence.” Oh, and there was a tie in the voting for the thumbnail to include here, so we just used them both. They both seem rather indicative of D.Minion’s various views anyway … . 7/11/05	Hmm. Despite today’s date, we haven’t found very much “convenient” over the past weekend. Internal strife is never so annoying as when it has external ramifications. Fortunately, that’s all the philosophy for today. 7/7/05	Sometimes Lon just says it best. He had a chance to visit one of Michael’s sets a while back, and he had a camera with him (imagine that). Now we’re really not certain about what exposure methods this particular camera utilized, but there are naked girls in the pictures, so we assume Lon had some plan in mind. We do know that Long giggled a lot after this particular trip, but we really should stop talking about this now. We wouldn’t want to Wax Lon, Wax Off, after all. Lon does a bunch of that himself.
