Clefts for Thee Deity

Deft Clefts Denouement

As for the virgin A.J. Wells, although he might have been the only person still bouncing with enthusiasm at the end of the weekend, after commending him on a vastly improved BTS technique, I did feel the need to remind him of a conversation I overheard during the shoot. In one of the relaxing moments between the action, A.J. was seated in the wardrobe room talking with one of the younger models on the set. “You remind me of my friend’s … dad,” she said.

Now because of the pause in the sentence, it really sounded like she was saying, “You remind me of my friends,” which really changes the whole meaning of the moment.  A little apostrophe can make a lot of difference, can it not? Life, like all of Mr. Ninn’s shoots, eventually comes down to those little things. The Devil is in the tails, after all.

But for what it’s worth, the snappy collection of females collected for Nymphetamine 3 just might offer something interesting to watch regardless of the level of your porn experience. It certainly ranks as one of the most entertaining shoots I’ve been on lately, and if any of that translates to the screen Scott and Michael may well be silly enough to try this all again.

Even after all these years together, Michael continues to amaze me, and I continue to learn on every set. Sure there’s a bit one can always pickup about light and color, and a there’s usually a bit about technical movie making, but if you pay attention and spend the time, a Ninn shoot can teach you about the fundamental essence of beauty. And that’s a lesson that remains surprisingly difficult to observe in a XXX world where you’d think it should be common.

For my part I plan on attending as many of these Celluloid Addiction shoots as I can, just to see who shows up. Besides, I still haven’t figured out exactly how to relate to a woman that was literally born after I started in the adult business. I’ll have to practice. I know, work, work, work ….
