12/27/08	If you’ve been around here awhile, you know that we generally do an ostensibly festive, and usually frivolous post for Christmas Day. And that’s what we started to do again this year. … Then, well, everybody got to talking and things changed. …Consequently we still have a holiday theme here, but we ended up with more of a serious discussion (which you can feel perfectly free to skip, also as usual). Bottom line, we decided to wait a couple days to deliver you package this year, but even if you skip all the words in the Members’ Area, you can see why Taren Steele and Vicca made for a perfect present: SILVER BELLES. 12/24/08	Robert Parker (through one of his characters) says, “Love is an amalgam of pathology, rationalization, and fantasy.” … Not bad for a guy usually relying on repartee for his insight. Now presumably at least some of these factors were present as Maverick attended a holiday party for the U.K. Adult Biz. They do seem to know how to throw a party, even if “love” might be stretching it a bit. For his part, Mav remained dedicated to his cause. 12/21/08	As you’re well aware, the holiday season has arrived again, and in our determined effort not to miss our present from Dee, we’re showing her how well we remember our promise to complete her KSEX section sometime in this lifetime. 12/11/08	So we were talking about Sophia Lynn’s story (again, as we seem to be some of the very few groups that seem to like and understand her), and how many of the women that leave the business seem to end up in one Church or another. The discussion took on a keener interest when Bijou noted that for all the times people find it necessary to “find” Him, He sure seems to get lost a lot – particularly for a Deity, after all. A few hours later we somehow ended up on the legal/moral/philosophical conundrums that the potential for actual human cloning represents. … Such is the life in a day of risqué. And people think we just hang around with beautiful naked and sexually adventurous women all day …. OK. We do, but there are other parts too, albeit possibly not as attention-grabbing. If you want another lesson in UK English, you can think about how even strange French words like maneuver take on an even more confusing manoeuver in the Queen’s Land. 12/29/07	We read an “Old English” saying the other day that seems particularly appropriate for our little group on occasion. “Drink is the curse of the land. It makes you fight with your neighbor. It makes you shoot at your landlord, and it makes you miss him.” … Now we have traveled all over the world, and we don’t think that this philosophy necessarily applies just to the Brits, even though today’s post does happen to involve a few of them rather substantially. 12/25/07	Now it wouldn’t be a typical Christmas Greeting if we didn’t have something special for the members, now would it? OK. Usually they’re attached to some really bad puns, but you’ve probably come to expect that by now. Of course this year you’re all getting a very special gift by all of us in the office … and Lon, oddly enough. And Lon didn’t even know he was getting you anything, probably. But he’s been after us for some time to pop up all of those little images on the video wall out on the free side, and we’ve finally managed to make him happy. You can now look up all those little bitty pictures and see the “full versions” along with a caption that explains it. Get yourself some eggnog, as there are 116 “pages” here, but it should make for a dandy way to spend some time after you’ve given up on your new electronics and such. 12/16/07	Having your football team only score 13 points isn’t necessarily bad – unless the opposing team happens to score 31, of course. And having all of this happen on Thursday, meaning they won’t be playing on Sunday at all really makes it worse. 12/16/05	A favorite risqué category reappears today with “Dear Readers Speak” – and this time via our old friend Maverick who, although perhaps not always completely understandable, has historically provided some very fond moments for us all … generally by walking into stationary objects whenever he sees Kristal Summers. Maverick’s apparently been taking D.Minion Lessons, though, as somehow he convinced a woman from way over in London to get naked for him while he took pictures. As far as we know, Maverick is recovering nicely from the shock and should be out of the hospital soon. 12/13/05	We’ve been hinting at some changes around here for some time, and so we might as well begin by admitting a failure. You see, even after really, really trying we have failed to convince Justine Joli that we’re all just a little too wacky to take very seriously, and that any association she might develop with us could never actually do her any good. However head-strong most women are, though, you’re going to have to multiply that by a factor of ten (at least) to get the level of determination present in a woman that has been an active part of the adult industry for five years. So we’ve conceded the point, and those of you that are hanging out with us at the AEE show in January will be able to count Justine among your new acquaintances. 12/2/05	One of the niftiest things about being associated with a cutting-edge technology company like Ninn Worx happens to be that you get a lot of cool toys well before they’re actually available to the general public. Sometimes, however, you plug these new toys into your computer and it kind of makes like Bill the Cat – responding essentially, “ACK!” And it’s not like these come with instruction books, or even help files or anything. In very sad situations, you get the evil “Windows has a problem, please contact your Network Administrator” sort of message, which ranks among the most ominous of signs. (In common parlance, consider this FUBAR in essence.) Now if you happen also to BE the network administrator, you find yourself looking quickly for a paddle to get you down this suddenly smelly creek. Well, such was the bulk of last week, so we haven’t finished the wonderful and far from odiferous account that D.Minion penned while on the set of In the Garden of Shadows. You can’t finish the story yet, but you can get through Day One, and sometimes that’s plenty with D.Minion, if we can be honest. So have some fun, and we’ll get back to you on this.
