6/28/08	You know, when we called Maverick yesterday to joyously tell him about the new Kristal Summers post from his trip here, he said, “Hey! Remember that I was going to announce the new Kristal videos on 247 and I made you screen grabs for Carol so you could put that part on risqué and talk about it too?” … And then we said something like, “Oh, yeah. That’s right. … Um. … BYE.” (Sometimes the Brits just don’t seem to understand the whole joyous appreciation of life thing. Have you noticed?) … So anyway we might be putting up this Kristal solo in the wrong order, but it won’t matter much in the long run. 6/27/08	Well, it’s summertime for sure, and although perhaps not technically “easy” these days, it sure beats the heck out of the alternative. Besides, one of our favorite philosophies has always been, “If it were easy, anyone could do it.” … That said, Kristal Summers offers up a little proof that it’s a nice way for a white bedding, and any time you can get a solo Kristal into the same paragraph with Billy Idol and George and Ira Gershwin, well it seems like a pretty successful day all the way around to us. 6/22/08	“Titillating” seems to be a reasonable goal around here, and sometimes we even manage to accomplish that without resorting to the obvious pun references the word implies. Theoretically we set out today to allow you members to see a much more visual distinction between the “Las” Vegas Adult Convention and the “Los” Angeles Adult Convention. D.Minion provides some highlights of the former while we wait for Lon on the latter. Now the LA part this year involved trips to (count ’em) three new restaurants, though, including one rather lavish buffet, albeit perhaps not up to Las Vegas standards. We will see. Those of you that have been around awhile will know how much Lon appreciates a good meal, and will consequently understand the labor-intensiveness of his current assignment. Then, as current events have a way of doing around here, more titillation has been ensuing, and we’re helpless to avoid its pull. At the very least, we entertain ourselves. 6/18/08	We have a “Wilde” “Trinity” (with a triptych) today. And we even lay out our insightful version of the simple “Vachs” at risqué . Sometimes it’s confusing enough just saying what it is; have you ever noticed that? It may, however, lead to simpler understanding as you go through life. Thus, you may feel free to spend the rest of the week asking, “What it is?” to everyone you meet. 6/15/08	Sadly, as a result of the recent major earthquake, one of the giant pandas at the Wolong Research Center in China lost its life. As do people throughout the world the children of the land love the pandas, prompting one distraught youngster to question which fine animal passed away. “Who died, papa? Which one was it? Papa, papa, who?” … At least this was how one of the major networks here reported the news. Probably because of time constraints the network cut away before airing the father’s reply, but we’re pretty sure it went something along the lines of “Papa, papa who? Mao Mao.” (… And if you know how to pronounce the most famous leader of the People’s Republic of China to date, and know a little American popular music history, well, it won’t make that the most impressive joke you’ve ever heard, but it will help a lot with understanding it.) … Fortunately today we’re taking a video look at our old friend Cheyenne Silver, and we’re not even mentioning a thing about natural disasters anymore. Still, it’s good to remain at least somewhat aware of world events, and it is Father’s Day, so we had to at least mention dads out there. (Besides, they might know The Beach Boys in China.) 6/10/08	Well, we have to start somewhere, so we might as well start with the artistic angle, right? Or maybe we should start with the bizarre. That’s always fun. … Or we could show off some fancy Photoshop collages too; that would be nice, as would a custom video segment showing off the general weirdness of our existence. Those are always popular. … So that’s how we started bright and early this morning, and then we figured out that we’re in LA, and we just got back from Erotica LA …. And that pretty much ties together all these things. OK. So it’s not earth-shattering logic, but we’re really a lot better after a few cups of coffee. 6/5/08	Ah, but we love the BTS footage. We find it a wonderful way to really see not so much what movie sets are like (because even if you’ve never been on one you’ve probably seen enough clips on television to pretty much know what they’re like) but because this type of footage gives the most accurate capture of the moods of the actors and actresses at a precise moment in time. (And you’ve probably seen enough clips on television to know that those little moods are nothing if not volatile too.) As is his now tradition, Maverick has also put together some screen grabs for Carol, since she still can’t see video on the web, as most of you probably know even if you’re not a member. By our estimation, Mav’s either a very nice man, has a not-so-secret crush on Carol … or he just thinks it would be very handy to marry an American. … For today, color us cynical and entertained. 5/30/08	We love summer time around here. It brings wonderful experiences each and every year. … Long days and warm evenings. Homemade ice cream. Picnics. Vacations, short and long. The return of the annual curiosity about how in the world a company ever managed to bring “Lawn Darts” to the market. … And maybe even boating, baseball, or perhaps volleyball. … For us, it always brings a treat superior even to all of these: INTERNS! … And interns are not only thrilled to be here, but they just love searching and organizing archives in the “Content Closet” that seems always a bit overflowing around the office. … And then they find stuff. … And occasionally they find a little lesbian art with Keri Windsor and Ava Vincent and a few videos documenting a – call it solo reflection – by Wendy Divine. … And what an appropriate name for this time of year, right? 5/23/08	Oh, dear. Maverick seems to be ramping up his enthusiasm for his next trip over the Atlantic, and so he’s suddenly wrapped up his coverage of his last trip over the Atlantic. 5/22/08	If you want to know the truth, we’re sure we saw a Pussy Kat. Comic references aside (although that’s admittedly a little tough for us most of the time), in the process of this D.Minion Interaction, we also see Katsumi (now “Katsuni” because of some stupid law suit), Mia Smiles, Penny Flame, Monica Sweetheart, and Trinity – whom we think all still get to use their own names. Although we will also admit that we should probably care a lot more than we do, it turns out that when we see beautiful naked women performing for us, we don’t often think of their names first. We’ll work on it by continuing to look at beautiful naked women and trying to remember what we’re doing wrong. 5/16/08	You’ve probably heard that a little knowledge can be a very dangerous thing. Well, we don’t want to cast aspersions on someone who has to live in perpetual gloom, eat sausages full of blood, and thinks coffee is really tea (well, we might want to), but Maverick has been learning about video compression for the web. Consequently, suddenly he’s now got all kind of formats over there at 247AdultStars. Now you need to realize that he has the benefit of being able to share with us the first legitimate shower adventures of the delectable Cate Harrington, who apparently had a soiled “personal toy” because she decided it needed a shower too. Probably Mav just likes practicing with her clips a lot. We’ll tell him we understand … and to at least not eat that sausage. Bleh! Now, true, both of these formerly dandy ventures have now deceased, but they remain near and dear to our hearts – particularly the parts where Dee’s naked. 5/12/08	Well we’ve been doing a bunch of boring code stuff that most of you well never even notice, but it does tend to make the site function better, and so that’s good. You need to do these things every once in a while. It’s not sexy, but it’s true. For his part, Maverick has been busy shooting much more along the sexy lines, as we introduce a little more of Cate Harrington today … honestly just because she’s a lot more interesting than Big Ben, if you want to know the truth. We have more of Mav’s discovery on the horizon too, but it’s never too soon to start with pretty women – that’s our philosophy around here as you’ve probably figured out. 5/5/08	It’s “Cinco De Mayo” which technically means “the fifth of May” but apparently it’s a reason to celebrate. Now according to D.Minion it’s sort of a Mexican Independence Day, “but it really isn’t” … and that just goes to show that former teachers can be annoyingly precise. Still, it did seem a reason to celebrate some degree of multi-cultural happiness, not that we’ve ever really needed much of a reason to do that. Actually any reason to contact Lorraine Sisco (She’s German, you know.) pretty much works for us and we’re perfectly willing to admit that. So check out what we’ve learned today (or at least what we’ve theorized at this point), and then go out and find some really good chile verde near you. Feel free to add mucho cerveza. 5/4/08	Did you know that England now employs Imperial Storm Troopers to assure its civil defense? Dang it. We hate it when that happens. To be more direct, we suppose, we could mention that we are literally “Building to a Crescendo” today, but you would only appreciate our dazzling wit were you actually a member and thus able to read today’s entry. Let’s face it: After DM shot down our approach we basically just decided to write enough to make it seem like we’re paying attention up here. You may be sensing a theme this time around. 1/31/08	Somehow we got all serious today, at least for a good part of D.Minion’s industry report. Still a great deal more than "fun and games" goes along with being in the XXX Industry (and a good many fewer orgies than people think if you want to know the truth). It doesn’t hurt any of us to at least consider some of the Bigger Pictures every once in awhile – particularly when you can just click the little camera icon at the top of the page and skip to the "smaller" pictures – happily involving gratuitous nudity. We have a t-shirt pinned to the bulletin board in the office that says, "Everyone should believe in something. I believe I’ll have another beer." … Insightful perhaps. 1/25/08	Apparently we’ve been slacking off on bringing Dee’s KSEX Index up to date with all of the missing days from her tenure there. And apparently some people have noticed, because we’re getting emails about this oversight. … Well, coincidentally we were working on a rather large NEW approach to Dee’s Diary and decided to fill in for a brief bit here with some of those requested posts. For what it’s worth, we’ve long been of the opinion that there’s no such thing as too much Dee – particularly if Dee happens to be naked. She’s wonderful otherwise too, but naked saves on laundry. 1/23/08	We suppose we had to start somewhere in our daunting task of covering this year’s Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas. Consequently a "Best of" stills collection from Maverick, along with his "Convention Floor" video contribution seemed a nice, gentle way to begin. He’s also provided some of the "autographs" that he collected, which presumably (and hopefully) he’ll explain a bit more when he launches the 247AdultStars.com site within the risqué family. Last we heard he was "working frantically" on that task, but one can never really be sure what "frantic" means in the UK we’ve learned over the years. 1/20/08	Upon the internal review of today’s contribution we actually had an unusual bit of disagreement among a couple of the troops. D.Minion wanted an explanation "elaboration" while Maverick held firm in the opinion that, "Hey. It’s just another story in the life of risqué." … As for what we all eventually decided, well, we can’t really get into that here. There are a couple of football games going on today, and we plan on grilling out and thanking our stars that we live in Southern California and not in either Boston or Green Bay. Brrrr. 1/16/08	Well we survived again and we’re all back and kicking. OK. So most of us are not kicking like the Rockettes exactly, more like Charlie Brown if you want to know the truth. Still, we managed yet another round of kissing, hugging, over-eating, and laughing amidst enough exposed flesh to cause sensory overload – even without the whole "being in Las Vegas" part. As is our custom – and since we’re very old it’s perfectly acceptable to have a "custom" by the way – we’re not going to simply bury you with everything at once. Over some time you’ll get a true feeling of at least our perspective on The State of The Industry, but we need to start somewhere …. So we decided to start later and today show you a truly ambitious scene from Couch Tomato Isabella instead. 1/8/08	As a technical matter we’re putting up tomorrow’s post today, since tomorrow we leave for Las Vegas for a week to attend the Adult Entertainment Expo (and the Consumer Electronics Show). Of course, when we actually leave it will be today, even though this will have gone up yesterday. Still, it’s a lot better than putting up today for day before yesterday, or even last week, as sometimes happens depending upon the goings on around these parts. If you think about it, why would we put off until tomorrow what we can do today anyway? And yesterday all our troubles seemed so far away – at least the way we remember it from years ago. … Oh, it’s Day Two on the set of Sophia with D.Minion’s usual bizarre observations and many, many pictures, by the way. 1/5/08	Well, we have to confess that somehow D.Minion snuck in some more pictures of ladders, in additon to a shot she swears is snow falling in Las Vegas. (You can decide on that one.) But she also managed to shoot over 200 pictures of scantily-clad women as she finished up AEE 2007 for your scientific analysis. Of course she also captured Kristal Summers in basically no clothing for an impromptu hotel room dalliance, so that’s always good. Basically, it’s always good to see how people change (or don’t) after a mere year in the business. We’ve always said that it’s an odd planet that we live on, this one called the XXX Business in Los Angeles. 6/30/07	It may seem hard to believe, but we always read and (mostly) listen to the member emails that come in. Now we can’t say we always follow the “advice” since some of the “suggestions” seem to be physically impossible, but some of them are actually nice, and those we tend to pay attention to. We also like giving friends a semi-public chance to “vent” when life has given them lemons … or marshmellow bunnies, or something … and so we’re able to accomplish two goals very early in the process today. We get to see a lot of “Dee Behind the Scenes” changing clothes and generally being adorable and we get to learn some history that involves many, many naked women. All in all, with this much accomplished before nine o’clock in the morning, we’d better go spend some quality time with the dogs. 6/26/07	Details remain sketchy at this point, but it appears that D.Minion and Lon had a meaningful experience with Julia Ann over the weekend – which happened to include the use of a bed. Apparently Julia Ann has developed some experience dealing with Naughty Amateurs – which would undoubtedly include both Lon and D.Minion, by the way. 6/17/07	We’re off to a geek convention so that we might learn new and improved ways to be confused in our everyday efforts, and then we’re staying down for the Erotica LA Convention next Weekend. Now as we understand it, one should make a practice of being kind to strangers, and so that’s what we’re doing in this particular mega-venture to entertain you in our absence. While Maverick doesn’t qualify as someone we don’t know obviously, we can assure you with absolute certainty that he is indeed stranger than most people you’ll ever meet. Lamenting his failure to arrange a visit to correspond with our upcoming parade with porn stars, he … let’s say, unhappily … pointed out that we never made time to publish his … let’s say unique … adventures at the AEE last January. So we’ve made the (considerable) effort to do that. Without providing too much editorial comment at this early juncture, let us just point out that you could read 1,000 words and look at 100 pictures on each of the seven days covering our little trip here, and you’d still have four more pictures to go – along with Heaven knows how many words. Culture is a curious thing; add it to the XXX world, and you’ve got an interesting animal to say the least. 6/14/07	You know what’s good about Mia Smiles? Well, darned near everything if you want to know the truth. Now we’ve said this before, but you really might consider just skipping to the 100+ pictures of the beautiful naked woman. Either that, or you’re gonna need a map, and you really have to be careful about paper cuts … at least on some parts of your person … that may be rather exposed while you’re looking … or maybe not. 6/2/07	Favorite shirt we saw at the rodeo this weekend: “Sure beer has no food value but food has no beer value either.” … OK. We didn’t really go to the rodeo this weekend, but there’s one in town and this guy wearing a cowboy hat had that shirt on, so we figure it’s a fair assumption that the shirt ended up at the rodeo too.
