We find it helpful to attempt continuity in one’s life, forsaking the peaks and valleys to the extent possible, in favor of a more consistent and predictable emotional path. Sometimes you get curious about a movie simply because of the concept represented in the name, wondering how the producers managed to avoid the myriad of potential pitfalls from both social and legal perspectives. … OK, so sometimes you get curious about that after you have seen a lot of these sorts of movies and have been on literally thousands of movie sets. At that point the whole, “Hey! She’s naked!” thing really doesn’t stop the clock anymore. Not saying whether that constitutes a good thing or a bad one, of course (but probably a bad one).
