We called this entry about Tenaya “The Heart of Talk and Stroll” — well — because we’re just weird that way. In addition, we will occasionally plug 80’s bands because — well — honestly we have no idea. We can’t figure that one out ourselves most of the time, but it presumably makes somewhat more sense than the Rodney Carrington references you’ll also find in these pages. Nonetheless, when you’re showing a bit of Tenaya’s spectacular private life, nobody’s really going to read the title anyway, chances are. Recently it came to our attention that we do not say, “Oh, Bollocks!” nearly enough around the office. Consequently we have resolved to remedy this situation just as quickly as possible. (Technically we had to first resolve to have resolutions on days other than New Year’s, but why get bogged down in details really?) … And speaking of details, Maverick shares a great many of them today in his “Day 2 of the AEE” post on 247AdultStars. Sadly we didn’t actually find any “nonsense” or “rubbish” — which seems to be how dictionary.com defines “bollocks” for us — so we couldn’t use the term in the ever-pithy commentary on those posts from our leader. On the upside, the reference source did say that term often has a “vulgar” connotation, and that should be something we have no trouble working with around here. You can find many good reasons to live in Los Angeles, but the colorful people have to be at least near the top of every list. In this economy most big cities will have scroungy-looking people on street corners looking for some money for some reason or another. However, in LA last week we saw a guy with a sign that said, “Need $4.01 for a soy latte.” … Across the street from this fellow was another chap with a sign that said, “Gulf War Veteran. Need a WIFE. Will accept cash.” … You gotta love LA. They could never put the “reality” here on television and have anyone believe it. There has been a very long debate over the difference between Art and Pornography, and in our little world perhaps the best explanation we’ve ever heard came from Gloria Leonard quoting someone (she sort of forgot to mention exactly whom, as we recall) that “The difference between art and pornography is the lighting.” … Well, politics aside, that works for us, although some would probably consider us not the best barometer of the topic, since we clearly have no problem with either. … With that in mind, then we’ll offer up some of the new talent around the office here and their “artistic” interpretations of the female nude. And since the female happens to be Shayla LaVeaux we certainly have no problem with that either. So we had to go to Arizona to get some materials on a story about London. … Hey, we keep telling you truth is stranger than fiction. … Anyway, we decided to employ a few of the images in our typically heartfelt, empathetic, and divinely warm holiday greeting. … That seemed reasonable, seeing as how the rest of the employees seem to think they deserve the day off. Instead of thinking of obtaining some foreign workers around here, though, we’ll just wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, and blame all of the wackiness on D.Minion and Bijou being in a hurry to get to the food. At any time in the day (these days) you’ll almost certainly be able to find a television announcer using the preface “At the end of the day …” for whatever pithy commentary they’re trying to espouse. Now we’re not sure when this happened; we’re not sure how it happened; we’re not even sure why it happened. We do think it’s interesting that no one seems to be much interested in “the beginning of the day” anymore – which probably just underscores the over-emphasis on results and not effort in modern society, at least it seems to us. … What have they done for us lately? … Right? … Toward that goal, then, we’ve decided not to wait on our “Fearless” (although most of us around here use “Frazzled” as the acceptable “F” term) Leader to continue the hopefully fascinating look at Women in Porn. Instead, we thought we’d look at a woman in porn, she being the Maverick discovery Suzie Best. In response to questioning, Maverick did indicate that he has BTS video with Ms. Best, and then we can wax philosophical anew. Until then we’ll just appreciate Suzie at the end of the day … or at the first of the day … or pretty much anytime we figure. You know what happens when British Citizens fall in love? Well in A Fish Called Wanda John Cleese ended up with Jamie Lee Curtis, so this probably isn’t as good as that ending – probably. Still, when British Porno Citizens fall in love you get to see a whole lot more gratuitous nudity than you can with your basic Jamie Lee movie. Now we’re not entirely certain that this explains what has happened, but it’s as good a reason as we can figure for the all out Give it our (Suzie) Best season we seem to be entering. Presumably when you think of “Ghetto” the word “Fabulous” isn’t the first thing that pops into your mind. Of course, you’re likely not looking at it through the eyes of Michael Ninn, and you’re probably not adequately taking in the references to Elvis Presley and Donny Osmond. It’s another one of those weird days with D.Minion on Set, can you tell? And of course there’s the very cleverly disguised BONUS material you can uncover today, as if the 160+ pictures and unique video moments weren’t enough. … OK. It’s really not all that cleverly disguised, since it’s basically a link that says “Bonus” on it, but you still have to look for it, and that will hopefully distract you from some of the anticipated oddness. D.Minion has a dilemma that she needs your help with. For some reason (and this would be another one of those issues it’s best not to ask too many questions about) she almost religiously reads Diane Mott Davidson’s mystery series about a caterer in Boulder, Colorado that keeps finding herself in the middle of murder investigations. OK. So we pretty much consider these story lines credible to the same extent that we believe all of the stories in Penthouse Forum, but DM seems to like them – almost certainly because of the presence of more than a few canine characters in the tales. … Well, apparently in a recent novel, Ms. Davidson introduced a stray named “Latte” that apparently inexplicably disappeared in the following book. So if any of you have any idea how the stray happened to stray again and could let D.Minion know, she might be able to ease her psychic pain a bit. (Although don’t try making jokes about it just going out for coffee. We tried that. … About some things our fine Minion has very little sense of humor.) For our part we asked Nurse Kristal, and then she got completely out of the nurse costume during her Cam Show Video. … And then we forgot the question. Hey, it worked for us. Usually when we go through 200+ photographs from a single post there isn’t one particular one that catches our eye as the “perfect” one to use as the little thumbnail on this page. Today we have found one. Technology takes a giant leap forward today. Or maybe it just stumbles blindly in hopes that everything will turn out alright. Sometimes it’s really hard to tell with things like technology. We do know some things for certain, however. Michael has again graciously offered up the DVD Gallery from the upcoming Meet Heather. And we do have our first forays into the honestly baffling world of HD work on the web. We also know that Heather is the reigning Penthouse Pet of the Year. But we’re not really sure what her name is now, if you can believe that. With her contract on hiatus from Ninn Worx while she fulfills her Penthouse responsibilities it seems fairly certain that it’s “Vandeven” – at least for awhile. We figure we’ll just call her “Heather V.” until all the big boys figure it out. If you can avoid conflict completely you can usually just pretend it’s not there. Sometimes it’s the simplest things in life that make it all seem worthwile. And sometimes it’s Kristal Summers hanging around set waiting for the action to begin. Apparently people are all up in arms because we found out that a government agency abused the power granted them for a completely unrelated purpose. Gee. Did somebody miss the memo on the effects of “Absolute Power” and all that? Well, we’ve decided to forego political commentary (which is really easy to do when you have sexually adventurous people to talk about anyway), and venture into Day One of Through Her Eyes with D.Minion. Fortunately these eyes belong to Faith Leon, with her supporting cast of Sophia, Selina Draagon, and some boys. We don’t pay much attention to the boys if you haven’t noticed. … As for the government folks, maybe you should just try living life as if your mom were looking over your shoulder all the time. If you’re a really, really good photographer, sometimes you like to take unusual pictures. And sometimes hanging around a porn set seems unusual to some people. And sometimes those things go together. Although not solving the mystery from a couple of days ago, at least we’ve found an interesting diversion while we continue our investigation. As a wise man once said, “You’ll be more successful if you always just play the hand you’re dealt.” Or maybe he said, “Always fold and walk away before you’re completely broke.” We’re not sure. We were never very good at card games. We are good at recognizing talent in those that recognize talent though. Bonus. (Or is that Sexy …?) Here we have “A Mystery Wrapped in an Orgy” that we almost didn’t even talk about. We were going to just write this whole thing off as “bunk” but then we decided to concede the elements of viability here, and then we noticed that no one really uses the word bunk anymore, so we decided not to start yet another new fad.
