7/31/21	Giving an adult movie the title “Erotica” seems a bit like calling one of the Fast and the Furious franchise shows Car Chase. … That said, a slight possibility exists that movie producers in this industry do not have cleverness first and foremost on their minds during the movie naming process. In fact, they could be subtly indicating that a vast difference exists between copulation and love, between elegant expression and raw fornication. 7/30/21	We really do listen to members around here, which probably seems odd in this day of thousands of sites being run by only dozens of companies. On the other hand, we have hardly ever been what one might characterize as “typical” in any fashion. Consequently when enough people sent emails expressing an interest in an entirely new section serving as a Full Movies index, we built one. A few still lounge in the remastering queue, but we continue to work through that — as must be evidenced by the vast expansion of “New Stuff” over the past few month — so we announce this new functionality with a quick redo where Dee Designates Dasha followed by the complete reconstruction of Essentially Dee. 7/26/21	When we set out to do the Welcome to the Valley SERIES late last fall, we kind of figured that by the time we wrapped it up this summer, sanity would have returned to the country and things would have loosened up a bit in our everyday lives. We thought we could celebrate the conclusion. … Yeah, well, we should have finished three weeks ago, because we’re all headed down Insanity Trail again — or UP the COVID Contamination one, depending upon how you look at it. 2/2/18	Certain movies simply transcend generations, becoming “classics” — at least to their many, many fans. Groundhog Day happens to be one of those movies, being enjoyed by people more than 30 years apart in age in our office, so today always marks a special occasion for the Risqué Folk. Lacking the funds necessary to bring in Bill Murray, however, we instead set up the final installment of the Taren Steele Fan Club Trilogy. 2/1/18	We don’t really do the Auld Lang Syne toast around here until the final day of the Adult Entertainment Expo, because that happens to be when we see a great number of people we have not seen, perhaps since the event last year. 7/27/05	Oh, boy … Now we’ve done it. For those of you that aren’t members of both sites, Michael (over at MichaelNinn.com obviously) recently wanted us to try putting D.Minion stories about his shoots over on his site too. Now we’ve always put them here if they inolved anyone we know and love, but a silly as it sounds Mr. Ninn sometimes does shoots that don’t include any Risqué women. I know. Crazy, huh? Anyway he loved the way it looked and the response it got, so now he wants us to do them for EVERY Ninn Worx shoot. Now it may not seem like it, but it’s a lot of work to post these stories the way we do, and since The Risqué Clan represents the major focus around here, we came up with a plan. We agreed to the task on the condition that y’all could see the “other” Ninn shoot stories too, and Michael agreed (happily, we might add). So today you get to see Porn Star which, although not technically starring anyone from our group, the movie does rather heavily relay on some personalities you may be very familiar with. That’s all we’ll say. We don’t mind helping Michael, but we’re still going to be nice about it. 7/25/05	One would think that working in the XXX Industry would be a fairly good job. Now we should probably dispell some myths here before we even get started, so “bare” [sic, we know] with us as we try not to ruin too many fantasies. … Hmm … This might be too large of a topic for a “New Stuff” lead-in, so let’s just go with the Bigee Myth: Women in the Porn Industry don’t actually have sex with anyone, anywhere, at the drop of a hat, or even trousers. OK. That’s over with. Actually this works exactly like most jobs. Everything gets old if you do it often enough. Honestly, the technical production of your favorite Adult Fare, probably wasn’t nearly as romantic as you might imagine. Put in more understandable terms, if you’re married it’s not that your spouse has “lost something” nearly so much as it is that you’re just really, really used to it. So don’t feel bad. (Do something about it, but don’t just sit around feeling bad.) 7/13/05	Well we assume that figuring out what went wrong should make us feel better, but basically it just means that we have a lot of “fixing” to do. Sigh. There were a couple of shoots going on at the same time, and DM (this time around) only accounted for ONE of the two while still managing to get in 280 pictures and over 6,000 words. This is one of those many, many words posts, y’all, so prepare yourselves while we go look for some more of what we lost. Don’t worry too much though: We’re only looking for lost stories. We gave up looking for our minds some time ago. 8/17/02	You can tell we’ve been beefing up our team as today they launched “Star Pages” for Shayla, Vicca, Nikita, Lola, and Cheyenne Silver–some of our favorite old friends. We have a guest editorial that introduces said lovely Ms. Silver, and you have 109 pictures of her to celebrate this massive expansion. We should warn you that viewing the set may cause a little expansion of your own, so best be prepared. We should also warn you about the “gynecological” nature of one of the pages, but we’ve made it easy to skip, should that not be your cup of tea. If it is … we hope you’re thirsty. Salud! 8/16/02	D.Minion’s providing quite the weekend treat as Kristal Summers, Sydnee Steele, and Nikita Denise take turn showing us what it takes to be Ms. Right. It turns out that this basically involves getting a lot of plastic surgery, and then spending a lot of time at the gym, and then you can go back and get revenge on all of the men who were mean to you earlier in your life, but we pretty much just skip over all of the moral lessons, and get right to the naked women. 8/14/02	The Night Calls team seems to be following through with their duties, although the shock took us a moment to absorb. We’ve got the Night Calls, April 3, 2002 right here just to prove it. This one has a bit of a twist, as it has the first mention of the Message-Board Famous “Night Calls Yearbook.” Now when was Mike bringing that thing for us to scan … ? The set also has the distinct bonus of showing off our own Wendy Divine, who “demonstrated consensual restraint.” You’ll have to read it to figure that one out. 8/12/02	Boy were we embarrassed when we found out that we hadn’t put up Kristal’s New Journal Entries since April of this year. We felt sad and ashamed. We were weepy and quite nearly devastated. To make it worse, it wasn’t even Kristal that pointed it out to us, it was a conscientious member, Debbie from Cleveland, Ohio. We love Debbie, and we love Kristal, and we feel really bad. We’ve updated the journal now, and given it a new look, and, because we love members too, we’re showing you 25 beautiful new pictures of Kristal naked. 8/10/02	Somehow we managed to figure all this really complicated, but otherwise boring, steps necessary to begin the formal search for attendees to the 2002 Risqué Members’ Party. 8/8/02	In honor of our new “Star Pages” for Devinn and Julia Ann, we decided to put up a “Behind-The-Scenes” look at Wicked Pictures’ Sex on Film. We found the D.Minion story, and then we found the 100+ pictures that accompany the three-page story, and then we noticed that DM set out to be “succinct.” To quote one of our all-time favorite movie lines: “[She] keeps using that word. I do not think it means what [she] thinks it means.” Naturally, for the sex scene stills, you should go to WickedWeb.com, but for the really good stuff, stick with us. 8/6/02	Juli and D.Minion are back with the next installment of Night Calls and we’re just all atwitter. And Tinker and the serious computer geeks have waded in with an evolution in the redesign they’re calling “Star Index.” Basically that means you can now easily search for our stories and illustrations on Devinn Lane and Julia Ann, and soon you’ll be able to search by other famous naked ladies that we’ve run across over the years. It took some serious code crunching to accomplish this extraordinary feat, so we’ve taken the liberty of calling the accomplishment “atwitter squared.” (We’re not real writers: We just play them on the Web.) 8/5/02	We’re not trying to complain or anything, but it’s been a little crazy around here, what with this being the busiest summer in recent memory. We thought the members might like a little peek at what’s been going on, though, so that’s what we put together. You know our motto: Use any excuse for a story that includes naked pictures of Dee. We also live by the appropriate corollary that “there’s no such thing as too many spread shots,” and rest assured that D.Minion’s hard at work on that one. We’re givers; what can we say?
