5/30/08	We love summer time around here. It brings wonderful experiences each and every year. … Long days and warm evenings. Homemade ice cream. Picnics. Vacations, short and long. Comic references aside (although that’s admittedly a little tough for us most of the time), in the process of this D.Minion Interaction, we also see Katsumi (now “Katsuni” because of some stupid law suit), Mia Smiles, Penny Flame, Monica Sweetheart, and Trinity – whom we think all still get to use their own names. Although we will also admit that we should probably care a lot more than we do, it turns out that when we see beautiful naked women performing for us, we don’t often think of their names first. We’ll work on it by continuing to look at beautiful naked women and trying to remember what we’re doing wrong. 5/16/08	You’ve probably heard that a little knowledge can be a very dangerous thing. Well, we don’t want to cast aspersions on someone who has to live in perpetual gloom, eat sausages full of blood, and thinks coffee is really tea (well, we might want to), but Maverick has been learning about video compression for the web. Consequently, suddenly he’s now got all kind of formats over there at 247AdultStars. Now you need to realize that he has the benefit of being able to share with us the first legitimate shower adventures of the delectable Cate Harrington, who apparently had a soiled “personal toy” because she decided it needed a shower too. 5/12/08	Well we’ve been doing a bunch of boring code stuff that most of you well never even notice, but it does tend to make the site function better, and so that’s good. You need to do these things every once in a while. It’s not sexy, but it’s true. For his part, Maverick has been busy shooting much more along the sexy lines, as we introduce a little more of Cate Harrington today … honestly just because she’s a lot more interesting than Big Ben, if you want to know the truth. We have more of Mav’s discovery on the horizon too, but it’s never too soon to start with pretty women – that’s our philosophy around here as you’ve probably figured out. 5/5/08	It’s “Cinco De Mayo” which technically means “the fifth of May” but apparently it’s a reason to celebrate. Now according to D.Minion it’s sort of a Mexican Independence Day, “but it really isn’t” … and that just goes to show that former teachers can be annoyingly precise. Still, it did seem a reason to celebrate some degree of multi-cultural happiness, not that we’ve ever really needed much of a reason to do that. Actually any reason to contact Lorraine Sisco (She’s German, you know.) pretty much works for us and we’re perfectly willing to admit that. 5/30/07	We can tell you for a fact that looking at a blank page (or these days a blank computer screen) and being faced with the task of filling it with pithy insights can be a daunting task. It doesn’t really matter if you’re 10 and in grade school, or 20 and in college, or … well … a bit older than that. The feelings of fright and inadequacy don’t ever really change. If you happen to be new in the office around here, though, you’ll fairly quickly discover that we basically don’t care. We try and try to tell new folks to just write the truth, just write what they feel, and the rest of us will work it in. All of that said, "Bijou Boudoir" makes her debut today, and in keeping with another of our general philosophies, that’s more than enough French for one day. Suddenly we’re thinking of soup though. Odd. The rest of you can enjoy watching a newbie at work with some dazzling and beautiful young women doing some dazzling and beautiful things with each other. 5/13/07	"It was chucking it down on Tyneside and the St. James’ Park pitch was slippery, so there were at least the odd hideously mistimed tackle and some handbags at ten paces, but that was as exciting as it got." … That’s a quote out of a detective story by Mark Billingham, and if you’re a murder mystery fan and have never read anything written by a modern writer from the U.K. you should put it on your list. You get sentences like this and although all of the words seem to be in English they surely do have a completely convoluted meaning, at least to us "Yanks." Actually the characters all seem to live with a rather pervasive despondency too, but that’s probably outside of where we’re going today. Rather we address another set of baffling decisions as we begin our look with D.Minion on the set of Fem: Staccato. We’re not positive any of this is quite cricket, come to think of it. 5/11/07	The best thing about "spring" cleaning has to be that occasionally some nifty things "fall" into your hands that you’d forgotten about. Now certainly "summer" better than others, but "winter" …. Well, honestly we lost it there. Winter just doesn’t seem to fit in anywhere, and since the (alleged) leader around here grew up in Colorado, he considers himself somewhat of an expert on the topic. Rather more to point we decided to take a look at Musa acuminata, but then we decided not to monkey around with that either. 5/7/07	Oddly, the first time many of you probably read the little notice below was YESTERDAY, which wasn’t exactly the intention. Somebody thought somebody put it on the server, and somebody else thought somebody different put it on the server, yada, yada, yada. The point being here, of course, that NOBODY checked. (We also had to explain the difference between "schlepping" and "schtupping" when we got back, if any of you did happen to notice that yesterday.) … Anyway they had some grand plans here, y’all, they really did. The first thing they were going to do was the D.Minion account from the entire shoot of Becoming Georgia Adair, Self Portrait – all 600 or so pictures – all taken back in the days before digital cameras got really good and using Photoshop to "improve" them was actually quite a bit of a challenge. And then they –"got stuck" – I think was the technical explanation I’ve heard most often. Well we’ll start with some good ol’ Dee at KSEX insights while we try to figure out what’s going on. You’ve all been on vacation, right? You know how long it takes for the stress at work to hit you after you get back from vacation? … Not very long. Sorry about that. A funny thing happened on the way to changing careers … the old career skills didn’t seem to go away and hide, and now all of the sudden we find ourselves very much back in the mix, and oddly feeling pretty much OK about it. Now today is just the day when we show off Charlie Laine, Jassie, and Tanya James, and then basically just tease with one of those thinly veiled “more to come” comments, but sometimes that’s just how life is. We were going to post D.Minion’s story from Day Two on the set of The Catalyst and then we noticed that there are more than 300 pictures and like 5,000+ words. Then we decided that this was a really bad idea. It would be much better, we reasoned, to do this post in honor of the DVD being released – and not just because that means we can stall until late June either. No way. We didn’t want to get out of here on this sunny Saturday afternoon and go to the beach or anything. Nope. That had nothing to do with us decided to post D.Minion’s much more reasonable report on the 2006 XRCO Awards. It’s just that life is full of oddities sometimes (and not even all of them work here). 5/28/05	It’s Memorial Day Weekend, as most of the US folks know, and we’re celebrating. True, most Americans likely can’t even remember what we’re supposed to be memorializing (as anyone that’s ever seen “Jaywalking” on The Tonight Show can attest), but a very few people might recall that some people have spent millions of dollars, and some rather more important people have died, giving us the chance to carve our little free niche in the world. So grill some beef. Eat some hotdogs. Play frisbee with your dog. … And try not to be too upset with the fact that banks are closed on Monday. At least most of you don’t have to go to work, after all. Oh, and if you’ve got the time, you might check out D.Minion’s Risqué Retrospective. Nobody died, and not even any animals were harmed, in this little synopsis of time. But, gee, ain’t it funny how time slips away? 5/20/05	So you meet a new person, and you’re still in the getting to know each other stage, right? Well somebody new on the Risqué periphery was describing a friend of hers. “She’s a real Right-Winger,” says the strange new person (who gets stranger by the minute sometimes), “but she’s a closet liberal, because she has gay friends, and even a Jewish one.” Good Grief: One step forward. Two steps back. Eeek! … Aside from the patently offensive implications here, we also saw a dandy opportunity to introduce Night Calls from March of 2005, since we love irony in all of its many forms. You see, this particular Night Calls episode, besides featuring the usual Juli Ashton and Tiffany Granath raucousness, had a group of beautiful female boxers as their guests, and if I ever knew two women that needed a punch in the mouth … well, you just heard from them on the periphery.
