Well this doesn’t happen very often. Michael’s once again completely lost his mind and so we’re all going to be in Los Angeles for a week and a half … MORE. We’re sorry; and we promise to come back to our regular posting ways in June, but it doesn’t look good for the rest of this month. Until then we have some more video posts which we hope will distract you from our absence. Sorry, Carol. We’ll get on those still images in a couple of weeks. A funny thing happened on the way to changing careers … the old career skills didn’t seem to go away and hide, and now all of the sudden we find ourselves very much back in the mix, and oddly feeling pretty much OK about it. Now today is just the day when we show off Charlie Laine, Jassie, and Tanya James, and then basically just tease with one of those thinly veiled “more to come” comments, but sometimes that’s just how life is. We were going to post D.Minion’s story from Day Two on the set of The Catalyst and then we noticed that there are more than 300 pictures and like 5,000+ words. Then we decided that this was a really bad idea. It would be much better, we reasoned, to do this post in honor of the DVD being released – and not just because that means we can stall until late June either. No way. We didn’t want to get out of here on this sunny Saturday afternoon and go to the beach or anything. Nope. That had nothing to do with us decided to post D.Minion’s much more reasonable report on the 2006 XRCO Awards. It’s just that life is full of oddities sometimes (and not even all of them work here). 3/26/06	It depends on how you look at today’s first Ninn Worx Weekend in too long a time. It could be a deep and philosophical commentary on legal trends spanning the globe, particularly as those issues pertain to technology. Or it could be a thinly-veiled excuse to look at Anais, Georgia Adair, Angel Cassidy, Mia Smiles, and a handful of their female porn friends doing … well, what female porn friends do. Consider it Unbridled – in various fashion, and then just enjoy it. That’s what we’d do. Who cares about lawyers anyway? 3/24/06	We figured we’d ease on into the weekend with a little bit of Dee on her birthday … well, and then in her birthday suit. Then we figured we’d add in Juli Ashton, and a beautiful blonde, and we figured it would be a nice simple contrast to the D.Minon Epics of late. Sometimes it can be good to just enjoy the pretty girls, even if they have reached to ripe old age of 28. (And yes, some of us do in fact have shirts older than that. So what?) 3/19/06	You know how sometimes you get these “technological advances” that turn out not to be so helpful? Well, for some inexplicable reason we looked up the “Word Count” in D.Minion’s article On the Set of Fem: Diva and Lost Angels: Olivia Del Rio before we started to compile it for you members. This was not a smart thing to do. We have no idea what possessed us. All we accomplished was scaring ourselves to death, and then we still had to do the work anyway. If we hadn’t, you see, you’d have missed the 245 pictures of Anais, Dee, Olivia, and even Kristal Summers (albeit in a “crew” capacity). On the other hand you would have missed the pictures of horses, cows, old farm equipment, and a couple of Port O’ Potties too, so you can look at this two ways at least. Still, the beautiful women (and Eric Masterson, Carol) probably make up for it. At the very least you’ll learn that city-people are funny. 3/17/06	You’re supposed to wear green today. Or maybe you’re supposed to wear orange, it’s just that most people think you’re supposed to wear green. Like most things in life, it all gets really complicated if you look at it too closely. That’s why we chose blue. Actually we chose Wendy Divine in (and out of) blue. And if you think about it logically, you’re probably going to want to pinch Wendy pretty much whatever she’s wearing (or not); on a good day, she might let you too. Oh, and there’s a special little bonus section that fans of Georgia Adair, Dee, and Olivia Del Rio may well enjoy as well. Come to think of it, there’s no reason to be blue today at all. Hmm. 3/11/06	Well, a lot of things have happened to the Risqué clients over the years, but oddly enough (particularly considering their vocation) this is the first time we can remember that one of them got pregnant. We’ve had a few marriages over the years, but this will be the first offspring – at least that we know about. Now that doesn’t really have anything to do with the Night Calls post today, but we did want to publicly congratulate Juli Ashton, and wish her the best. Soon Juli will have her own Mini-Me … We hope the world is ready. 2/26/06	Do you know how you know you’re in Los Angeles? I was sitting outside a little sandwich shop yesterday and a guy walked down the street in one of those t-shirts that have obviously been washed about 500 times – you know the “favorite shirt” kind of washing? The shirt said, “If we are what we eat, then I’m going to be you in the morning.” THAT’S how you know you’re in Los Angeles. Now you might want to decide if you’d rather spend a few days in LA, or (finally) peruse D.Minon’s account of the 2006 AEE. They should both take about the same amount of time, we’re betting, but the DM insights will still be cheaper, so they have that going for them. 2/21/06	We’ve got a Big Time Stall going on around here today, but that doesn’t matter as much because we’ve also got the luscious Sarah Blake to help us fill our time. We’ve often said that we lead a very strange life, but it may be that strangeness has no bounds around us. A graduating high school senior (Yes, he’s 18, D.Minon.) casually asked me at lunch if I knew anything about Porn Stars. It seems his final paper has to do with “Women Enslaved by Pornography.” And the only thing this kid knows about me is that I’m friends with his dad. I expect I’d better ask Dad how much I can tell the young inquiring mind. As it turns out, I probably do know something about this subject. The rest of you should probably just enjoy Sarah. 2/17/06	It’s quite possible that we have a Secret Agent as a member. At least that’s the latest philosophy around here, as we all went through Mr. Moto’s Photos from the AEE. After looking at over 1,000 pictures, not to mention actually attending the event, you’d think we wouldn’t be surprised by the people that our good friend managed to photograph. So we figure he just has some special powers, but at least he only uses them for good, and he does share with us after all, so that’s OK. 2/1/06	We’ve said it before, but we really do lead very strange lives around here. And apparently the condition can be catching as we’ll learn today. Once a distant Kristal Summers fan, then a shy Members’ Party attendee, and eventually a regular visitor to the Risqué homefront, our friend Maverick has taken a professional turn that’s really hard to explain. Now it’s not so much that the industry has a new webmaster among its members as it is that Maverick is that new persona. We know Maverick, and Maverick does NOT shoot POV videos with professional adult entertainers. Something is very, very wrong in the universe. We’re calling this “Fayed to Maverick” but that’s only for as long as it takes us to find that “Turn Back Time” Machine. 1/29/06	Call it a hunch, but we’re thinking we’ve got the first of a few of the “Seen on the AEE 2006 Scene” reports here. We’re trying to start everyone off easy by not subjecting you to the feared mass of a typical D.Minion elucidation on the annual event in Las Vegas, so we figured we’d start with lil’ ol’ SteveD – a man of few words and many pictures – a man, in other words, close to the hearts of many members. So if you’re looking for Kristal Summers, Juli Ashton, Christy Canyon, Julia Ann, or anyone else that might hang out at a porn convention, well, so was Steve. And all of the women seemed very happy to pose for Steve. He must be a very kind man. In a past life, maybe SteveD was Ghandi. 1/28/06	All in all, waking up every morning to the sounds and smells of the Pacific Ocean beats the heck out of waking up to the sounds and smells of millions of automobiles. Still, if you have to hang out in Los Angeles it doesn’t hurt to hang out with Miko Tan and Eva Angelina, particularly when you can make fun of the folks from the city. Out here, let’s just say we had a Fabulous time. Inside, of course, you’ll see (and read if you’re so inclined) much more … um … detail. It’s all about “d” tail around here, y’all. Speaking of tales, just when you think you’ve heard everything in this business, you realize you’re wrong. Now I’ve been in the XXX industry for 15 years now, and even I get suprised. While on this Ninn Shoot, one of the male performers looked over to the monitors and said, “She’s too tight.” Understandably confused, the young Director looked at me and asked what to do. Naturally I gave the most obvious answer that came to mind. “Give me her phone number,” I suggested. One need always maintain perspective I’ve learned. 1/23/06	It occurs to us that some people may need something to take their mind off of fumbles, interceptions, general embarrassment and overall ickiness. In our vast experience with these feelings of sadness, we’ve found that Anais can be a dandy diversion. If, for example, you have some stunning exclusive pictures of Anais practicing her modeling on a country set, and then you have visual evidence of Anais being somewhat skilled at self-satisfaction, you might be able to avoid burning everything orange and blue in your wardrobe. 1/20/06	Sometimes the simplest things in life can make all of the difference, can’t they? Take for example a week where you get stuck doing all sorts of really un-sexy things like upgrading servers and checking php code for a new catalogue system that no one else is even going to know is there if it works right. And then say you still have like 70,000 images from the Vegas convention to go through (well, there probably aren’t that many, but there are a lot) and some of them are quite frankly just a little oogey. When you’re having a week like that, it turns out Monique Alexander can just brighten your whole day. Come to think of it, she’s always pretty much had that effect on the office. 1/15/05	Well, we’re still going through a bazillion pictures and mpegs from the recent AEE show, and we finally took a break to let everyone know we’re still alive, despite having had to listen to all of the sportcasters across the country explaining how wonderful the Indianapolis Colts are, and how sadly overrated the Denver Broncos are. Odd, that. More to the point, however, we took some time to put together a quick set of Kristal Summers hanging around the hotel room, when she wasn’t hanging around the convention. 1/9/06	Apparently while we were gone the “New Year’s” post (below) kept appearing and disappearing. Not being sure what exactly happened, we decided to blame it on Gremlins, since we don’t want to waste all of our “Blame it on D.Minion” chits this early in the year. That said, we’re trying something different, which for us generally means we’re going to end up in a place completely different from the one we imagined we’d end up when we set out, but at least we’re used to that. 1/2/06	Consider these our New Year’s Nudity Resolutions. Now these are a lot like regular New Year’s Resolutions, but they’re a lot more fun to keep. If you factor in Juli Ashton, Nikita, Vicca, and some (close, it seems) friends of theirs, you get one dandy equation that will hopefully keep y’all busy for the week we’ll be away in Las Vegas mingling, mixing, doing interviews and taking pictures … basically doing all the fun stuff Maverick doesn’t get to this year. If you have to struggle through these tedious work exercises, at least you should be able to taunt your friends about it. Hmm. That’s another fine New Year’s Resolution, come to think of it.
