3/31/05	Kristal creates some Hard Evidence today, as it were, as we have an unusual story with a lot more words than pictures. Still, sometimes that’s how life turns out, and quite honestly it doesn’t take very many pictures of Kristal Summers to reach awe-inspiring status, truth be told. So we tell a few truths; we look at Kristal not meaning to show off, and we thankfully don’t have to warn people about many, many pictures of food establishments and restaurant menus. 3/28/05	A lot of times on a porn site you wouldn’t follow “We found our motel” with the concluding part of the sentence today, “and headed off to the Helium monument.” Right? Well “A long time ago …” (Someone should really write a book with that beginning.) D.Minion met Dee in Amarillo, Texas, and then they travelled across the Great American Desert to get to Los Angeles. At least the “Bonus” section has some interesting interaction, but, basically, this post can be summed up if we tell you what this thumbnail says. “You can’t run with the big dogs if you pee like a puppy.” We have a very odd office. 3/26/05	For some reason people get really afraid of daring punctuation. Maybe primary school English teachers sign some secret oath that mandates that they frighten all young students against anything that isn’t a period or a question mark. Teachers that teach the advancing students can then introduce the comma to the budding minds, but after that the door slams shut …. See? Whatever happened to the good ol’ ellipse? What’s wrong with ALL CAPS to stress a point? And God forbid, on this Easter weekend, that a parenthetical comment ever rear its confusing head. (If you don’t know what that means, you should just skip to the 180 pictures from Ninn Worx’ Pussy Kat now, by the way.) Well, today we flunk English 101. 3/24/05	As it turns out we’ve fallen behind on the Night Calls stories and D.Minion goes a little Kindergarten Teacher on us when that happens. Remember the crossed arms and the tapping foot pose? Well, even though we’ve lived on this planet for more than four DECADES, that particular stance still stikes fear into our very soul. Being the regular manly men that we are, though, we immediately rolled over so D.Minion could scratch our cowardly bellies. And then we posted the next Night Calls story as though nothing ever went astray. The one thing about men is that at least we’re predictable … (Artistic men like Michael Ninn that want entire sites redesigned are even worse than kindergarten teachers, by the way. 3/12/05	I’d forgotten how much I miss sharing a house with Kristal Summers. Even when she’s just helping around the kitchen, Kristal doesn’t mind putting forth that little extra effort to help set the table. 3/8/05	You know, one of the hard things about writing is that very often things need to rhyme to flow smoothly off of the tongue, or brain, or whatever. So I’m trying to recount my adventures when I should have been at home watching the dogs and D.Minion’s parents, but instead I find myself (and my bummed-up leg) on a porn set observing the creation of a movie called Purple Skye … Yes. Truth is stranger than fiction. So, anyway, I have now found myself trying to think of a rhyme for “purple” … um … which ranks right up there with “orange” … Then I remarkably decide to just “show dem da money” — at which point all rhymes become superfluous. I really edit much better than I write, but at least we won’t have that “Clown Porn” picture haunting us at the top of the page anymore. One should give thanks for small favors. 3/1/05	Sorry for the little hiccups of late. We’ve been deep in negotiations (and modifications) for Mr. Ninn, and, well gee, sometimes time flies even when you’re not having loads of fun. At any rate, we did decide that we should try to posts our FINAL (we promise) report on the AEE, at least before it was time for the next one. So, bowing to the requests of too many emails, today you get D.Minion’s take on the Convention. It seems she’s getting jaded too. Or maybe she just doesn’t like being the “go-to girl” at these things. Alas. If you’re going to accept that sometimes life sucks, it makes perfect sense to hang around porn stars all of the time. 1/31/05	We don’t know quite how to describe Mav’s MEGA Report on Internext, the AEE, and the AVN Awards show except to say it’s BIG. It’s really, really BIG. There are well over 300 pictures and 7,000 words. Heck, we had to build the mother of all index pages, just to try to help people figure out where they are in the story when they come back to it. Let’s put it this way, from within the story and picture pages there are FORTY THREE individual links back to the index page. You’re going to need a lot of beer for this one, folks. Lots of pretty girls, though, and Lon becomes a Hip Hop artist. I guess if you’re really interested there are a lot of pictures of Juli Ashton, Kristal Summers, Paola Ray and Dee, and quite a few of Inari Vachs and Alicia Rhodes, surprisingly. Allegedly there’s going to be another episode this Friday, so we’ll check with Juli for you. Basically today we’re just pointing out the apparent stupidity of Playboy TV executives sometimes. 1/13/05	“Seventy-Six trombones led the big parade,” as I understand it. So that means that today’s post is better than a big parade, as it has 77 more pictures of the 2004 KSEX Awards show, this time taken by Foreign Correspondent Maverick. Now we need to explain three things. 1. We’re making no attempt to draw any correlation between trombones and photographs of partying porn stars, rather leaving to future generations of literary students an attempt to try to decipher what deep and tortured reasonings led us to this strange juxtaposition. 2. A simple fact of corporate America rejoices in giving someone a grand-sounding title like “Foreign Correspondent” rather than actual money, and 3. His poetic review of Ninn Worx’ Fem: Diva inspired this week’s “Weekend” — displacing D.Minion’s “favorite” Olivia Del Rio, in fact. We’re pretty sure Bert can make this up to DM with copious beers at the Members’ Party in a couple of weeks, and we’re also pretty sure the rest of the members will thank Bert. Look at it this way: You’ll get to see Olivia eventually, and Anais is truly a feast for the eyes (and possibly some other stuff). 8/22/03	Most of you probably know that Juli Ashton doesn’t really fit the typical “Porno Girl” mold; Juli’s actually very bright (as are several other performers as a matter of fact), and so when she called in the other day with a quote that she’d read and wanted to share with us, we listened. If you’ve been a member for very long, you know that we tend to be fairly optimistic around here, and pretty much live with the philosophy of “playing the cards you’re dealt.” Juli’s quote, however, says that ever-so-much more eloquently: “Of all the things that might have happened, only one of them actually did.” Cool, huh? 8/19/03	Honesty would actually prevent us from claiming that ALL of the Risqué clients over the years have turned out to be far along on the “human sanity” scale, but, hey, retrospect is for whiners anyway. So on a day when we received a phone call to tell us of the supposed lengthy incarceration ahead for one former client, we happen upon a little story from May of 2001 that focuses on a different one. However, while we’ll confess to not always picking the most rational, or even ethical, of clients EVERY time, we can say one thing with complete candor: Some may turn out to be wacky, but darned if they aren’t all beautiful. We’re glad we ran across this, and we hope you enjoy it too. It’s a wonder we can find anything at all around here sometimes. Then again, I lose my shoes at least once a day. 5/31/03	Ladies and Gentlemen, and Maverick, we have a happy day today! When you see the size of it, you’ll understand the delay in getting you all the next Risqué Revelation that has become the Becoming Georgia Adair Mini-Series. We’re finally into Day One, which means we’re firmly into hard core here. Those of you that have been waiting to see Georgia in hard core action will wait no longer. It will take some perseverance however. There are nine picture pages, containing over 200 still images. There are two silly videos, and a trailer small enough for slow connections to see it (courtesy of Georgia herself). The story itself covers three lengthy pages alone. 5/26/03	Being as how it’s Memorial Weekend, we’ve been reminiscing for a few days. On this, the technical “Memorial Day,” it seemed a fitting conclusion to reflect once more on our own little place in the world. It was only a little more than a year ago that D.Minion documented a day where Devinn Lane filled in for an absent Danni Ashe and interviewed Aimee Sweet for “In Bed With Danni.” Ah, what a difference a year makes. Still, although things don’t always work out like we plan, it has been our experience in life that they do in fact tend to work out for the best. Maybe that’s what makes this such a fun job. 5/20/03	What with all the hullabaloo about Kristal’s niece getting into the business, we thought it would be interesting to take a look back at Kristal Summers as she looked about the time she got started. Aside from the fact that this gives us an excuse to look at Kristal naked some more, it also has the distinct added benefit of letting us include the word “hullabaloo” on our site, thus further educating our Japanese friend that traveled even farther to see us than Maverick did. 5/18/03	You know sometimes it’s just the simplest things that make you bonkers. (That would be the medical definition, by the way.) It seems that in our efforts to upgrade the Operating System software for part of our server system, we got a little tired and accidentally layed an errant finger down on the keyboard. It turns out that one little pesky comma can completely shut down the posting system for a week. Bleh. So you’re probably seeing a bunch of new posts for the first time tonight. Sorry, but at least we found the problem. (Stupid comma.) As a Sunday Night Bonus, though, members can now see the trailer for Becoming Georgia Adair — at least two weeks before anyone else out there can. You’re going to be the envy of all your friends. 5/16/03	And we’re back on track with Ninn Worx Weekends, and it’s a good thing they’re popular. What with Georgia in town for a Hustler centerfold shoot, planning for the next round of Ninn Worx movies, starring someone that may surprise you all, and trying to do boring “behind the scenes” software upgrades, this has been a hectic week. 5/14/03	Technically we made the Wednesday deadline for the next installment of the Risqué Mini-Series that is Becoming Georgia Adair. That is, we made the deadline if you live on the West Coast, or maybe Hawaii, otherwise you’re probably seeing this on Thursday. However, we’ve made up for this slight tardiness by including not only the next D.Minion peek into Georgia’s shoot, but we also put together a couple of quick sets of some other women you might remember. TJ Hart was by the office and gave us some “on the set” shots of her, including a couple with our own Inari Vachs, and Wendy Divine dropped off some rather candid shots of a party she and Eric Masterson had before they switched apartments. So we thought we’d do a little post about the woman that started all of this “Porn Stars as legal Prostitutes” phase that many women in our business have seemed to follow. Consequently, you can enjoy Sunset Thomas, and enjoy reading about a man who went to the Bunny Ranch to enjoy Sunset Thomas.
