3/31/13	Kylie’s contribution on this Easter Sunday was to point out that England does not have a kidney bank, but they do have a Liverpool. … We’re not sure what that has to do with Salvation, but then Natalia Forrest loving her boobs and Cytherea shaving seem equally confusing on that topic. 3/26/13	A Tale of Woe turns to Tales of Whoa! as Steve points out in his review of the AVN Awards Show this past January. Now you may think that we should have probably posted this sooner than nearly three months after the event, but honestly it took most of us that long to recover from the surprise of how good of a job AVN did this year. 3/1/13	Reports out of the Vatican reveal that while the 145 critical individuals have all arrived from across the world, they have not as yet elected a new supreme leader for the Catholic faith. It seems that for a few days at least, they will all be too pooped to Pope. … Should their exhaustion reach critical levels, the cardinals could consider allowing Shayla LaVeaux and Kristal Summers to serve as “Maids to Order” so that our comely lasses might handle the day to day clutter which inevitably accumulates when smart people sit around and think. 12/31/12	Who knew that by watching a highly anticipated (well, by some) football game you could be inundated with advertisements for a new television show on AMC featuring “Competitive Taxidermy” of all things? Who knew that taxidermy could be competitive? … Who knew they even still did taxidermy? 12/29/12	You may not have noticed, but if you put all the College Bowl Games together, you could have a heck of a party. You could wear Russel Athletics or New Era Pinstripes, if you knew what those were, maybe. You’d have Tostitos, Buffalo Wings, Idaho Potatoes, Chick-fil-A, Little Caesars Pizza, and even Beef ‘O’ Brady and Outback to eat. You could decorate the place with roses, sip orange juice while you get some sugar from your sweetie, and even stuff cotton in your ears if she started complaining that you were not fighting her hunger with Kraft sufficiently. You’d have wonderful things to talk about like insurance, or car care, wireless services, or taxes, mortgages, or Korean cars. You could even discuss what the heck scantily-clad women and beautiful race car drivers have to do with web domain registration. Also in our occasionally not completely behind efforts to bring the really old pages up to modern standards, we will run across some original photos now and again. MacDonald wrote, “Life is the process of finding out, too late, everything that should have been obvious to you at the time.” Now the fine author penned this pithy observation in The Only Girl in the Game, but to be fair, we actually discovered it as the introduction in Paul Levine’s Slashback. After such a literary introduction of our own, you might think that we’d be on an intellectual quest today, perhaps explicating a poem by John Donne and dealing with a rather different form of conceit than the adult industry usually provides, this of the metaphysical sort. … Naw. We’re just letting D.Minion rant about how she hates to miss things and remembering fondly the first time we got to see Cytherea’s new boobs. … We all enjoy life’s callings a little differently. 6/23/11	To be quite honest, one of our favorite aspects of working on this site for over a decade has to be that we simply don’t need to make stories up. While we do rather enjoy reading fiction, the dedication and attention to detail that it requires to actually write it really doesn’t interest us much. Around here it works much more like a typical “editorial” job in an old fashioned journalistic setting. Of course we would maintain that our particular subject matter tends to keep one’s general interest more than, for example, local politics, or even the local football team. Come to think of it, probably all the NFL players are looking at risque.com every single day while they wait for the lockout to end. That makes sense, right? 6/20/11	Most of us have probably heard the saying “The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry” – or some sort of variation on that translation. Many of us, however, might be surprised to learn that the quote does not come from the book Of Mice and Men, but rather comes from a really old poem by Robert Burns, which inspired the name of the aforementioned book. Sadly neither Mr. Burns, or the excellent author John Steinbeck ever got a chance to photograph Cytherea taking a bath, and we feel sorry for them. As for the members, you can look up the poem if you want, but looking at Cytherea would probably be a lot more fun. Because we’re kind and like to give hints, the relevant lines in the poem read literally, “The best-laid schemes o’ mice an ‘men / Gang aft a-gley” (ouch) while Cytherea in a tub reads like the photo here. 6/17/11	At its essence life comes down to a matter of perspective. You can approach it with emotions ranging from calm benevolence to malevolent ire, but in the end we’re all going to end up in the same place. As almost all of you know by now, for the last week or so we (along with millions of others in cyberland) have been under attack by an admittedly quite smart, but altogether nefarious character nonetheless. For the first time in our history we actually got “cracked” and have been frantically dealing with the aftermath for some time now. Finding the leak, as it were, is nothing compared to repairing all the damage done, if you want to know the truth. We’ve got it all locked down again now, better than ever ironically enough, and we’ve got a bunch of stuff backed up in the queue which we’ll rebuild quickly. We’ll catch up. We always do.
