5/28/05	It’s Memorial Day Weekend, as most of the US folks know, and we’re celebrating. True, most Americans likely can’t even remember what we’re supposed to be memorializing (as anyone that’s ever seen “Jaywalking” on The Tonight Show can attest), but a very few people might recall that some people have spent millions of dollars, and some rather more important people have died, giving us the chance to carve our little free niche in the world. So grill some beef. Eat some hotdogs. Play frisbee with your dog. … And try not to be too upset with the fact that banks are closed on Monday. At least most of you don’t have to go to work, after all. Oh, and if you’ve got the time, you might check out D.Minion’s Risqué Retrospective. Nobody died, and not even any animals were harmed, in this little synopsis of time. But, gee, ain’t it funny how time slips away? 5/27/05	The Porn Industry hasn’t quite figured out the deceptively important concept of picking a title with care. We tend to name things with what they ARE, rather than what they’re ABOUT. Of course many would say that’s simply because the adult “movies” are exactly what they are about, but those people are still wearing trenchcoats and looking for cheap thrills from a hole in the wall if you ask me. Fortunately, no one asks me much, and so I can spend my time enjoying Dee Directing once again. Also, I don’t blame her for the title. You can now enjoy her too. 5/25/05	Over the years we’ve come to understand that it’s always preferable to wake up with a beautiful woman. 5/20/05	So you meet a new person, and you’re still in the getting to know each other stage, right? Well somebody new on the Risqué periphery was describing a friend of hers. “She’s a real Right-Winger,” says the strange new person (who gets stranger by the minute sometimes), “but she’s a closet liberal, because she has gay friends, and even a Jewish one.” Good Grief: One step forward. Two steps back. Eeek! … Aside from the patently offensive implications here, we also saw a dandy opportunity to introduce Night Calls from March of 2005, since we love irony in all of its many forms. 1/31/05	We don’t know quite how to describe Mav’s MEGA Report on Internext, the AEE, and the AVN Awards show except to say it’s BIG. It’s really, really BIG. There are well over 300 pictures and 7,000 words. Heck, we had to build the mother of all index pages, just to try to help people figure out where they are in the story when they come back to it. Let’s put it this way, from within the story and picture pages there are FORTY THREE individual links back to the index page. You’re going to need a lot of beer for this one, folks. Lots of pretty girls, though, and Lon becomes a Hip Hop artist. 10/29/04	So the newspaper yesterday said, “… the frustrated, fanatic but ever faithful fans of the fatalistic franchise from the Fens gathered ….” You have to be a sports writer, or possibly a webmaster, to get away with that kind of alliteration, but isn’t it “fun?” As Bronco fans around here, we’re well versed in this whole International Humiliation thing, and so our hearts go out to the St. Louis hopefuls out there. Naturally, we congratulate those rooting for the Red Sox, because as every fan of any sport knows, we are each personally responsible for the successes of “Our Team.” Because of our deep empathy for the Cardinal fans, however, we’ve decided to grab a bit of attention from CafeAnais and show everyone a solo scene from her most recent Ninn Epic. It won’t take away the pain of losing so soundly, but it will certainly provide a pleasant distraction. 10/24/04	Today’s Ninn Worx Weekend is even more dazzling than usual. In fact, we liked the contribution from Angel Cassidy’s latest movie so much that we decided to run the story even before you can even buy the DVD. (Sorry, DM.) In addition to the typically beautiful shots, many of the atypically beautiful Angel, we also included the sexy audio tracks from the erotic poetry that frames the story, and even some trivia about Michael Ninn. 10/21/04	If you think about it, the term “Rain-Aid” sounds like a Willie Nelson concert. Fortunately, thinking about this issue does not constitute the important part of today’s insight. There seems to be a lot going on with Anais these days, thanks to the bumbling of some executives we won’t name over at the company that distributes Ninn Worx’ pictures, and if you needed any more proof that we should just put Dee in charge of everything, you need only look at these pictures … If everyone just did what they are good at, life would be much simpler. Now we’ll warn you that there’s no small amount of whining, and even some economic ruminations before you actually get to the Wonderful Ninn Worx Weekend featuring Fragile women that, well, don’t actually look all that fragile. 10/5/04	We took some time to watch the Vice Presidential debate tonight, as we’re sure all of you did, being fine, upstanding, citizens and all. (Those of you that live out of the country are excused from this duty. Be thankful.) Tom Brokaw said that Dick Cheney reminded him of George Forman. Other than being grilled by his opponent, I must confess that I didn’t draw the connection. Dick Cheney did, however, remind us a lot of Grandpa Munster which would have made the voting “choice” easy except for the fact that John Edwards seemed just a bit too much like Wally Cleaver. Fortunately in America we can make our own decisions, so it might be best to decide to hold off on major, potentially life-changing, decisions and check out the propoganda videos and pictures from Georgia’s newest Michael Ninn movie instead. 10/1/04	Tinker called this morning, and when I answered the phone she said, “Did you happen to find a piece of American cheese in the driveway?” Thinking that this was a lot like, “Do you by any chance happen to have six fingers on your left hand?” I responded logically with, “Do you always start conversations this way?” Now why this happened turns out to be not nearly as important as the 189 pictures from Anais’ latest Ninn Worx feature, Faith: In the Garden of Shadows, Book 2. Throw in the fact that most of the early morning discussions centered almost entirely on politics, and you’ll see why we figured “American Cheese” just seemed perfect as a topic for the day.
