4/29/06	Apparently it’s “Epic Week” as we get yet another “on the set” piece from D.Minion about a movie that you can’t even see for a couple of months. Some people might find our lives a little scary, truth be told, and we were going to spend some time trying to explain it. But then we sort of got one of those “behind the eyes” kind of headaches, and just decided to eat ice cream instead. 4/16/06	And now for something completely depressing. … As we think about it, this might be the first time we’ve ever introduced a story with this sort of lamentation, but this is also the first time D.Minion ever wrote about her last night on Night Calls – ever. Still, we’re supposed to remain upbeat in the face of adversity, but we’ve really always thought that was an overrated concept. Heck. If you’re feeling down, you should have the right as an adult to scream, cry, kick you feet, and just generally act in a juvenile manner. Otherwise what’s the point of being an adult? Well, you can eat ice cream whenever you want, but other than that? Come to think of it, you might want some ice cream as you read about this conclusion of era. 4/15/06	Well, it’s been a whirlwind of a couple of weeks, and we can’t even tell you about it … yet. 4/30/05	We counted 17 separate references to old television theme songs in D.Minion’s story of Carol’s visit to Southern California. We’d actually worry about our sanity, but we’re much too crazy for this kind of deep introspection. Fortunately, the 125 photos from Michael Ninn (who didn’t even meet Carol, by the way) can make up for a lot of blatent silliness. 4/29/05	We get to visit with a bunch of old friends today, and D.Minion’s got 180 pictures and some 3,000-odd words to prove it. She was on the set of The Devinn Lane Show, Part 3: Attack of the Divas a couple of years back, and she got to spend some time with Julia Ann, Dee, Lola and Devinn. (D.Minion should pay us for this job.) By the way, we should state for the record here that, although we haven’t always agreed with her “career” decisions, Devinn Lane has always been beautiful, innovative, daring, and extremely motivated. In short, Devinn Lane is a very good director. She also happens to be wearing one of my favortie shirts during this shoot. “I can only be nice to one person a day. Today is not your day. 4/25/05	All of us at the office blame Carol for the lateness of the latest Ninn Worx Weekend. Michael didn’t get to meet Carol, since she “allegedly” spent her time in Southern California on the beach and eating home-cooked meals, and not on the Sybian. Both Carol and Michael are very polite people. … So we don’t have any pictures or either Carol or Michael on the Sybian, but we do have some really dandy images that will hopefully distract you from that point. 4/20/05	Pretty much every day, everyone pretty much has to do something. So today we pretty much figured we’d just spend some time looking at Wanda Curtis. All in all, in our experience, this turns out to be pretty much of a fun thing to do, and so we’re encouraging you to do it too. I don’t know if any of you ever had the opportunity to see Wanda in person, but she looks like a drawing or something. When artists draw their idealized visions of the perfect female form, they generally look like Wanda, actually. If Barbie Dolls had a human incarnation, they would look like Wanda too. 4/17/05	… [DMinion wrote this. It’s not my fault.] “From Nightingale poop to human foreskin.” According to a TV show I just watched, these are some of the things people put on their faces to keep them looking young and beautiful. Anais looks beautiful without any of these, uh, interesting concoctions. (I should know. I’ve seen her without makeup and she’s stunning. It just isn’t fair.) 4/15/05	In the movie business, a “side” is a small part of the script that the director intends to record on a particular day. Generally, when the “players” show up in their really groovy (or at least ego-gratifying) trailer room, some nameless person will have placed the sides in the room — most often directly upon the only horizontal seating area in said ego-gratifying room. The point, here, being that sometimes things don’t always turn out the way they “historically” should. In our ongoing efforts to convince Juli to release some of her “owned, albeit heretofore hidden,” footage of Essentially Inari, we’re providing a peek into the past lives of, not only Inari Vachs, but Dee, Kristal Summers, a very happily endowed man, a couple of genuinely nice women from Juli’s past, and even Juli herself. We call it “Old Irony-Sides” … but we’re like that. We would also like to point out that using words like “albeit” and “heretofore” should be at least a misdemeanor in any civilized country. 4/10/05	OK. Technically it may be a little late for a Ninn Worx Weekend, but, also technically, it’s still the weekend for three more minutes in LA as we’re posting this. Besides, some days “It’s all about the Porn Star, baby.” … and what’s a little tardiness when those are your options? 4/8/05	Well we’re still plowing through Tax Hell, which wouldn’t be as bad if you didn’t have to do it every year, we’re thinking. And as it turns out, although it really, really sucks to move with a broken leg right before Christmas, it’s even worse if you didn’t think about putting all of the various tax document areas from the office and warehouse in one box so you could find it easily when you needed it. (I don’t know why they were always in various places; that was not my job.) So we decided to make up for it with a Night Calls post from Juli and Tiffany’s February Show this year. This one turned out to be extra long, as it included the soon to be more famous Justine, along with a side trip to a Dee dance gig. We decided, “What the heck, let’s put a bunch of exclusive pictures of Anais up too. What, you want to spend more time on the Quicken Category and Transfer List?” Too many numbers in your life make you talk to yourself, you know. 4/30/04	Well, it had to happen. If we don’t keep plugging on Mav’s ever-so-captivating literary work, we’ll never get through the darned thing. Today, we get to hear a lot more about home improvements, learn from the chorus of a bad 70’s song, lament a persistent lack of Kristal Summers, and finally discover the proper way to spell “Andrew Dan-Jumbo.” What could be better? Well, there are the 50 pictures from Anais’ next Ninn Worx movie, Inside Myself. Some people might consider that better. 4/22/04	This thumbnail actually has nothing to do with today’s feature, the next in the Maverick “Wanna see my home movies?” epic. We’re continuing the theme, however, of providing some rather more traditional forms of entertainment along with the quirky posts. Now, last time we used shots from an Anais movie, and this thumbnail happens to be from the next Anais movie, but the “bonus” stuff actually comes from a Georgia Adair movie, and shows off Dee a bit too. We didn’t use Georgia’s next movie as the thumbnail, well, because it won’t be ready for a week or so, and we had to do something. Can you tell how confused all of this is making us? Maverick actually took two pictures of the same piece of paper — in case the vertical shot was better, we presume. At least you can see a larger version of this thumbnail inside, and maybe you’ll understand “Intern Maverick” a little better too. We’re making no promises on this last part, however. She’s headed out to the Night Calls set again today, still bubbly from last time. It’s actually a little frightening if you think about it too much. For our part, we’ve simply decided not to do that. 4/2/04	Well we sure took our time getting the pictures of the winners from the last Members’ Party posted. Sometimes we post everything right away, and the site takes on even more of a “Home Movies” nature than it generally has. We wanted to avoid that this time around, and then there was the matter of grading the tests. D.Minion was a teacher for 15 years; grading tests is not high on her “Oh, goody, goody … I get to do this” list. Those of you that have been around for awhile will know that we generally have these Risqué Soirées sometime in September, and that’s about six months ago now. So think of this as a semi-annual review, and think about joining us next time around. How many other places can you hang out for two days with a bunch of beautiful adult movie stars? And if you do manage to join us next time, you won’t be at all confused by little pictures like this. For those of us that attended, this makes perfect sense. And we’re hardly even bothered by that fact. Somewhat easier to understand are all the naked pictures of Dee, Kristal Summers, Wendy Divine, Anais, and Angel Cassidy. 4/30/03	We know that today was supposed to be the next installment in the odyssey that was Becoming Georgia Adair, but it turned out to also be a “fifth Wednesday” of the month, and so we usually run the latest Night Calls shenanigans on this day. It was a quandry. We were once again confused. Then we decided to go with the old Manager trick of simply going with seniority, and Juli Ashton won out again. Besides, Carol was getting a little weepy about not reading about the last show already. Now because we’re deep in the depths of dealing with umpteen thousand pictures of Playmate/Pets, you’re probably going to have to wait until this weekend to get the next Georgia installment. If it’s any consolation, this episode features a bunch of pictures of naked and frolicking Georgia Adair and Inari Vachs. It’ll be worth the wait, we promise. 4/23/03	We have a new winner today, and we stopped the presses to tell you about it! Well, technically we stopped some presses, but we started others, and (very technically) we don’t actually have any “presses” at all, per se. But none of that matters. Yesterday we had a member visit the office who came all the way from Tokyo, Japan to bring us pictures he took at this year’s AEE. We looked it up, and according to the “Los Angeles Almanac” the air distance between L.A. and Tokyo is 5,478 miles. When Maverick visited from London, he only had to travel 5,456 miles — meaning he has been bested by 22 miles. Poor Mav … If you move to, say, Tehran, Iran before your next visit, Mav, you’d have to come 7,581 miles to get here, and you’d be the winner again. You might have other issues at your new home, however. 4/6/03	If experience is what you get when you didn’t get what you wanted, well, then, this weekend we got a lot of experience. We started looking at the task of laying out Becoming Georgia Adair for all of our members. We stared at it a long time, and it never got any smaller, not even a little. 4/4/03	Oh my goodness, it’s a new posting four days in a row! We’re willing to let you look at the latest Ninn Worx Weekend, so long as you don’t get used to this kind of efficiency around here. It just wouldn’t do. In honor of Bert, however, we’re paraphrasing an old song in our continuining clever descriptions of our sets. 4/3/03	Somebody, we just can’t seem to remember who, requested more naked pictures of Dee. Since Dee was the “Mistress of Ceremonies” at the quest that was Becoming Georgia Adair, we turned to our old on-set buddy Cronin to see if he’d managed to snap off any appealing shots while documenting Georgia’s debut. Turns out that he had, and he was happy to share. Somewhat unexpectedly in this set, there’s this one little picture that gives you just a taste of what’s in store for Georgia with this show. 4/2/03	A war began but Night Calls went on. In our pitiful attempts to avoid political comment, we at least have the benefit of providing beautiful women to look at. D.Minion was sad at Night Calls, March 19, 2003 — but she did her job anyway. This might be one of the ones where you just want to look at the pictures. If you take this tactic, however, you’ll miss hearing about Juli and the Fireman’s pole, and that might be even worse than watching CNN. 4/1/03	Stop the presses! Sometimes we have to be willing to rearrange our plans in order to announce something truly spectacular. We have a burgeoning boy among us!
