We hate to be all politically incorrect and all that, but looks count. Remember all those folks that could see the very fine new clothes the Emperor was wearing? … Yeah, they were lying.

Despite its appearance as a “reality” home improvement show, in fact the popularity stemmed from the characters in the series, and not so much the difficulty (or not) of what they were doing at all.

Ring That Belleby Nobody Special
It takes all kinds to make a world. Seriously, it does not take a great deal of scientific knowledge to understand that if all people were attracted to the same woman, the population would die out pretty darn quickly. Also, this woman would always be very, very tired.
If all people were attracted to the same man, our history would be even shorter. Think about it: At least a few of the men attracted to the man could beat up all the women attracted to the man, so just gaining access to the possibility of procreation would be quite difficult. Also, this man would be hiding all the time, because faced with an almost certain losing proposition, that seems to be the default male response to a situation.

The answer turns out to be rather simple, but perhaps not that intuitive. We certainly never see it on professional movie sets, for example.

In those moments we turn to streaming services, and (again, because people ask) these would be our personal go-to, Hall of Fame, watch them over again, productions in that genre.
Finally, if you need help with this one, well, we feel terrible for you, but nothing we could say would help fill the sad void in your existence. Have fun storming the castle.
Although you cannot currently get it for free, we would be remiss not to mention the all-time favorite series in these Risqué parts.
Truth be told, as often as one might hear, “Age o’ The Geek, Baby!” around here, an even more popular sentiment would have to be, “There’s something wrong with her.”
