That said, even in really fun jobs, not every day can be ice cream with rainbow sprinkles. Regardless of our chosen career, most of us have at one point or another in our lives suddenly realized the weight of some choice we have made, and nobody has ever thought, “Oh, great! More weight!” … Still, one needs to view life on balance, and given that perspective, it’s probably a lot better to look like Gemma Massey than not. If one were logical and honest about it, in the final analysis, the “Last Man Standing” will almost certainly be a woman. There are more of them. They live longer, mature earlier, and at least objectively do not seem to fall victim to the “Dang it … there’s no blood for my brain because it’s all in my dick” disease.
