12/12/06	You know how we always say that truth is stranger than fiction? Consider this, and we promise that it’s true. … We were riding in a new SUV that one of the Risqué ladies happened to have picked up recently, and we couldn’t help but noticing a vast collection of “sticky notes” plastered on the dash. “I just love this new car,” the fair lass bubbled, “that little plastic screen is the perfect place to put directions for places I’m going.” … Honestly we waited as long as we could before pointing out that she was in fact using “sticky notes with directions” to cover up the vehicle GPS system. … Sometimes in life it’s best just to sit back and enjoy it. And that’s what we figured to do today as we immerse ourselves in Chris Hall’s pictures on the set of Aperture. 6/30/05	You know what? We haven’t been talking about Dee enough. For awhile we just thought these uncomfortable feelings were just from the long hours at Ninn Worx, or trying to get a deep understanding of really sexy subjects like “video compression techniques” or something. We even gave the “must have had some bad seafood” theory a brief visit, but then we realized that unless it comes wrapped in paper, we haven’t eaten it lately. Then we saw Dee at LA Erotica and we realized the obvious truth of the matter: We haven’t been talking about Dee enough. You know, you can spend time with your head buried in codec geekdom, on machines that cost many thousands of dollars, and you still miss the simple stuff. 6/27/05	Conventions and Events pretty much describe the modern working world in America. No matter what you do for a living, there’s almost certainly a convention somewhere (every year) that brings all of you like-minded people together … probably to talk amongst yourselves about how hideous it is to try to do what you do for a living. … well … We have those also. And we also have those Events that really, really want to be in this “essential” catagory, so that they might make a bunch of money off of all of us too. Consider LA Erotica. Now the people that attend this paticular convention are much more interesting than the folks that pay money to display their wares, as it were, but it’s still a rather fun place to hang out for a bit. 3/31/05	Kristal creates some Hard Evidence today, as it were, as we have an unusual story with a lot more words than pictures. 3/28/05	A lot of times on a porn site you wouldn’t follow “We found our motel” with the concluding part of the sentence today, “and headed off to the Helium monument.” Right? Well “A long time ago …” (Someone should really write a book with that beginning.) D.Minion met Dee in Amarillo, Texas, and then they travelled across the Great American Desert to get to Los Angeles. 3/26/05	For some reason people get really afraid of daring punctuation. Maybe primary school English teachers sign some secret oath that mandates that they frighten all young students against anything that isn’t a period or a question mark. Teachers that teach the advancing students can then introduce the comma to the budding minds, but after that the door slams shut …. See? Whatever happened to the good ol’ ellipse? What’s wrong with ALL CAPS to stress a point? And God forbid, on this Easter weekend, that a parenthetical comment ever rear its confusing head. 3/8/05	You know, one of the hard things about writing is that very often things need to rhyme to flow smoothly off of the tongue, or brain, or whatever. 1/31/05	We don’t know quite how to describe Mav’s MEGA Report on Internext, the AEE, and the AVN Awards show except to say it’s BIG. It’s really, really BIG. There are well over 300 pictures and 7,000 words. Heck, we had to build the mother of all index pages, just to try to help people figure out where they are in the story when they come back to it. Let’s put it this way, from within the story and picture pages there are FORTY THREE individual links back to the index page. You’re going to need a lot of beer for this one, folks. Lots of pretty girls, though, and Lon becomes a Hip Hop artist. 1/13/05	“Seventy-Six trombones led the big parade,” as I understand it. So that means that today’s post is better than a big parade, as it has 77 more pictures of the 2004 KSEX Awards show, this time taken by Foreign Correspondent Maverick. Now we need to explain three things. 1. We’re making no attempt to draw any correlation between trombones and photographs of partying porn stars, rather leaving to future generations of literary students an attempt to try to decipher what deep and tortured reasonings led us to this strange juxtaposition. 2. 1/8/05	If you’re reading this, well then Praise the Digital Dieties. That means you’re looking at the new server like you’re supposed to be. By the way, really, really smart people wouldn’t have chosen the end of the year … over the holidays … right before the largest annual industry convention in Las Vegas … at the same time as moving a home and office … as the perfect time to change hosting and billing companies for the two biggest sites we operate. Nope. That’s certainly not what a really, really smart person would have done. That’s just what we did. On the upside we still have many good contacts with some exceptionally beautiful women, like … let’s see … this is Kristal Summers, Becca, Dee, Inari Vachs, Cheyenne Silver, Juli Ashton, and Wendy Divine. It might be easier to just look inside the members’ area, rather than just believe us. The pictures get bigger in there. Actually a lot of things get bigger around these women. Go figure.
