4/30/05	We counted 17 separate references to old television theme songs in D.Minion’s story of Carol’s visit to Southern California. We’d actually worry about our sanity, but we’re much too crazy for this kind of deep introspection. Fortunately, the 125 photos from Michael Ninn (who didn’t even meet Carol, by the way) can make up for a lot of blatent silliness. 4/29/05	We get to visit with a bunch of old friends today, and D.Minion’s got 180 pictures and some 3,000-odd words to prove it. She was on the set of The Devinn Lane Show, Part 3: Attack of the Divas a couple of years back, and she got to spend some time with Julia Ann, Dee, Lola and Devinn. (D.Minion should pay us for this job.) By the way, we should state for the record here that, although we haven’t always agreed with her “career” decisions, Devinn Lane has always been beautiful, innovative, daring, and extremely motivated. In short, Devinn Lane is a very good director. She also happens to be wearing one of my favortie shirts during this shoot. “I can only be nice to one person a day. Today is not your day. 4/25/05	All of us at the office blame Carol for the lateness of the latest Ninn Worx Weekend. Michael didn’t get to meet Carol, since she “allegedly” spent her time in Southern California on the beach and eating home-cooked meals, and not on the Sybian. Both Carol and Michael are very polite people. … So we don’t have any pictures or either Carol or Michael on the Sybian, but we do have some really dandy images that will hopefully distract you from that point. 4/20/05	Pretty much every day, everyone pretty much has to do something. So today we pretty much figured we’d just spend some time looking at Wanda Curtis. All in all, in our experience, this turns out to be pretty much of a fun thing to do, and so we’re encouraging you to do it too. I don’t know if any of you ever had the opportunity to see Wanda in person, but she looks like a drawing or something. When artists draw their idealized visions of the perfect female form, they generally look like Wanda, actually. If Barbie Dolls had a human incarnation, they would look like Wanda too. 4/17/05	… [DMinion wrote this. It’s not my fault.] “From Nightingale poop to human foreskin.” According to a TV show I just watched, these are some of the things people put on their faces to keep them looking young and beautiful. Anais looks beautiful without any of these, uh, interesting concoctions. (I should know. I’ve seen her without makeup and she’s stunning. It just isn’t fair.) 4/15/05	In the movie business, a “side” is a small part of the script that the director intends to record on a particular day. Generally, when the “players” show up in their really groovy (or at least ego-gratifying) trailer room, some nameless person will have placed the sides in the room — most often directly upon the only horizontal seating area in said ego-gratifying room. The point, here, being that sometimes things don’t always turn out the way they “historically” should. In our ongoing efforts to convince Juli to release some of her “owned, albeit heretofore hidden,” footage of Essentially Inari, we’re providing a peek into the past lives of, not only Inari Vachs, but Dee, Kristal Summers, a very happily endowed man, a couple of genuinely nice women from Juli’s past, and even Juli herself. We call it “Old Irony-Sides” … but we’re like that. We would also like to point out that using words like “albeit” and “heretofore” should be at least a misdemeanor in any civilized country. 4/10/05	OK. Technically it may be a little late for a Ninn Worx Weekend, but, also technically, it’s still the weekend for three more minutes in LA as we’re posting this. Besides, some days “It’s all about the Porn Star, baby.” … and what’s a little tardiness when those are your options? 4/8/05	Well we’re still plowing through Tax Hell, which wouldn’t be as bad if you didn’t have to do it every year, we’re thinking. And as it turns out, although it really, really sucks to move with a broken leg right before Christmas, it’s even worse if you didn’t think about putting all of the various tax document areas from the office and warehouse in one box so you could find it easily when you needed it. (I don’t know why they were always in various places; that was not my job.) So we decided to make up for it with a Night Calls post from Juli and Tiffany’s February Show this year. This one turned out to be extra long, as it included the soon to be more famous Justine, along with a side trip to a Dee dance gig. We decided, “What the heck, let’s put a bunch of exclusive pictures of Anais up too. What, you want to spend more time on the Quicken Category and Transfer List?” Too many numbers in your life make you talk to yourself, you know. 4/2/05	For some reason we’re very concerned about The Learning Channel (and yesterday was April Fool’s Day). 3/31/05	Kristal creates some Hard Evidence today, as it were, as we have an unusual story with a lot more words than pictures. Still, sometimes that’s how life turns out, and quite honestly it doesn’t take very many pictures of Kristal Summers to reach awe-inspiring status, truth be told. So we tell a few truths; we look at Kristal not meaning to show off, and we thankfully don’t have to warn people about many, many pictures of food establishments and restaurant menus. 3/28/05	A lot of times on a porn site you wouldn’t follow “We found our motel” with the concluding part of the sentence today, “and headed off to the Helium monument.” Right? Well “A long time ago …” (Someone should really write a book with that beginning.) D.Minion met Dee in Amarillo, Texas, and then they travelled across the Great American Desert to get to Los Angeles. At least the “Bonus” section has some interesting interaction, but, basically, this post can be summed up if we tell you what this thumbnail says. “You can’t run with the big dogs if you pee like a puppy.” We have a very odd office. 3/26/05	For some reason people get really afraid of daring punctuation. Maybe primary school English teachers sign some secret oath that mandates that they frighten all young students against anything that isn’t a period or a question mark. Teachers that teach the advancing students can then introduce the comma to the budding minds, but after that the door slams shut …. See? Whatever happened to the good ol’ ellipse? What’s wrong with ALL CAPS to stress a point? And God forbid, on this Easter weekend, that a parenthetical comment ever rear its confusing head. (If you don’t know what that means, you should just skip to the 180 pictures from Ninn Worx’ Pussy Kat now, by the way.) Well, today we flunk English 101. 3/24/05	As it turns out we’ve fallen behind on the Night Calls stories and D.Minion goes a little Kindergarten Teacher on us when that happens. Remember the crossed arms and the tapping foot pose? Well, even though we’ve lived on this planet for more than four DECADES, that particular stance still stikes fear into our very soul. Being the regular manly men that we are, though, we immediately rolled over so D.Minion could scratch our cowardly bellies. 3/8/05	You know, one of the hard things about writing is that very often things need to rhyme to flow smoothly off of the tongue, or brain, or whatever. So I’m trying to recount my adventures when I should have been at home watching the dogs and D.Minion’s parents, but instead I find myself (and my bummed-up leg) on a porn set observing the creation of a movie called Purple Skye … Yes. Truth is stranger than fiction. So, anyway, I have now found myself trying to think of a rhyme for “purple” … um … which ranks right up there with “orange” … Then I remarkably decide to just “show dem da money” — at which point all rhymes become superfluous. I really edit much better than I write, but at least we won’t have that “Clown Porn” picture haunting us at the top of the page anymore. One should give thanks for small favors. So, bowing to the requests of too many emails, today you get D.Minion’s take on the Convention. It seems she’s getting jaded too. 6/29/04	Somehow it seems fitting that one of our more colorful members can tie in a very human experience, wisdom from Juli Ashton, and a new way to look at Michael Ninn. One thing about Brother John, he’s not the type of person about whom people have no opinion. Basically, that pretty much sums up our life philosophy around here. 6/19/04	Wendy’s lingerie items have been earning some note lately, which makes a great deal of sense when you look at them. But as much as we like looking at pictures of Wendy in lingerie, it still doesn’t compare to actually seeing Wendy in person. Sadly, we’re not able to do that for this round of LA Erotica, but while the gang’s all roaming the room, compiling God knows what all, those of us not actually attending this year decided to remind everyone what a visually compelling couple Wendy Divine and Eric Masterson make. We found a D.Minion story validating the theory, and we found 75 pictures to go along with it. If you can’t go to the convention, this makes for a nice way to forget your misery. 6/16/04	I’ve been using “computers” since we stored data on cassette tapes. I remember when we thought a Ten Megabyte hard drive was just ridiculous. No one could ever use that much storage space. The “new” 3-1/4” floppies were almost as good as sliced bread. I know something about computers. But D.Minion can do things with electonics that baffle even folks a lot smarter than I am. She gets error messages that I’m pretty sure Microsoft just put in as a joke — knowing no one would really ever do what it would take to get that message. Why is this important? Because in today’s Night Calls Report, D.Minion has done some truly amazing things with her digital camera, although she claims she has no idea how. It doesn’t really matter, because Juli Ashton and Tiffany Granath (and guests) look good, no matter how you look at them. 6/8/04	Have you ever been just beside yourself with anticipation? Well, in actuality that probably has very little to do with Inside Myself, which happens to be Anais’ next movie, just out from Ninn Worx. Still, probably some people really looked forward to it, and so we’ll stick with the intro. D.Minion was on her mark with the pictures this time around, although having Anais, Dee, Isabella, and Nikita Denise as subject matter probably didn’t hurt anything. In case you’re wondering, there are also dogs eating eggs, old mechanical equipment, motorcycles, wonderful architecture, and school-girl outfits. D.Minion died and went to Heaven. 6/7/04	You ever notice how things seem to go around in cycles? Here we hadn’t seen Lola in about a year, and then she shows up on Night Calls. And now, coincidentally, she reappears, this time playing with Kristal in D.Minion’s account of Not Another Porn Movie. Well, there will be a lot of Kristal today, but that’s OK. We do feel sorry for Maverick, however, as there are many, many pictures from which he will have to choose his new Message Board Icon. Come to think of it, maybe that serves him right.
6/4/04	Every time we try to get “official” with our handling of the web site by programming some functions to operate automatically, we get something wrong. We end up spending a lot of time and money, and then a stupid period or space or something is in the wrong place, and everything grinds to a halt. Consequently, many of you probably didn’t see the June 1st post (below), which was supposed to work in the fancy way, but everyone seems to have seen the June 2nd post — which we did the old fashioned way. Rather than dwell on our stupidity, however, we’ve decided to just ignore it and concentrate on Day Two of Angel Cassidy’s Sex, Money, Power shoot, which has not only a bit of Anais again, but also a whole bunch of Dee. 5/31/04	Don’t you hate it when you do stupid stuff? Somehow in all the chaos of the last couple of weeks (Michael and team are in Budapest shooting now. Getting them out of town was a challenge, not that you care.) we forgot to post the Cinco de Mayo Night Calls episode. (About this you certainly care.) Well we’re making up for it today, and we’ll just have to apologize for delaying the reveal of Juli’s personal twist on chorizo con huevos, with Julian playing an important role. 5/27/04	We were pulling up to a convenience store today when we noticed a stunning, 20-something, brunette getting out of a sporty little car. The sun happened to be behind her, and it was obvious that she didn’t have a thing on under her very thin (and short) cotton dress. It was also obvious she knew how to walk to attract attention. Standing behind her in line, we observed that her key ring said, “Ye Old Tattoo Shop” on it, but she had no tattoos visible, despite the fact that there was not much of her actually covered by clothing. After paying for our purchases we exited and saw her car still parked in the lot, whereupon we also saw that she had leopard skin seat covers and a blood-red cell phone. Driving away, we ultimately took note of the fact that she had two bumper stickers on her vehicle. The first said, “White Trash,” and the second advised, “My priest fucked your honor student.” You gotta love LA. Now this all of this has nothing to do with D.Minion’s observations of Dee and The Nooner cast at a recent Spice Promotional shoot, but, then, neither do the 135 pictures from Hedonism III. 5/22/04	Well, it took long enough, but we finally have gotten to the point of Mav’s vacation story. Becoming Georgia Adair: Self Portrait released this week, and after a great many weeks learning about American construction methods, Maverick finally got to do something fun. We’re showing you “Day One” of his account here, and there are actually 210 pictures you might be interested in seeing. Of course you’ll be on to page four of the picture pages before the actual sex scenes begin, but there’s lots of Georgia naked before that. 5/14/04	We could tell you that today we have a nice little story about Dee and Georgia Adair doing the DVD commentary for Georgia’s very first movie for Ninn Worx. Of course that would unfortunately leave out the part where we mention that we also have Dee’s entire solo scene from Ninn Worx’ Soloerotica 4 AND some behind the scenes looks at Georgia’s second movie for Ninn Worx. 5/10/04	Weighing in with part five, part six, and part seven, of what Maverick did on his winter vacation we have this positive bit of news: This makes seven parts of the story you never have to read again. 5/9/04	We sailed past 3,500 pages on the web site today, and you’d think in all that time we’d at least have something important to say. However, we’ve resigned ourselves to the fact that we’re just going to have to be happy hanging around with beautiful women all of the time. (At this point we were going to point out that it’s a dirty job, but you know how we abhor puns around here, so we didn’t.) We are going to politely note that today’s Ninn Worx Weekend shows off Michael’s newest release Inside Myself while rattling on about some inconsequential thing or another. 5/6/04	Driving home in the typical suburban misnomer known as “Rush Hour” the other day, I noticed a curious bumper sticker. It said, “I learned everything I needed to know in Sniper School.” You know, that’s not exactly how I remember the quaint little saying from my youth, but it does go to show that things are just a little bit unusual in LA. Take today’s D.Minion on Dee at KSEX post. We start with a stuffed monkey, pinned to a dart board and holding a red satin bra. We move to Dee dangling coat hangers from her nipples and adventurous people wearing afro wigs in rainbow colors … and then it gets weird. 5/5/04	Did y’all ever see How the Grinch Stole Christmas? Remember the little dog that the Grinch tries to make into a reindeer? Well, when the poor confused dog ends up under the sleigh, and then proceeds to jump up on the back of it, he gives the cutest little shrug and a friendly wave that at least for a moment stems the consternation evident in the Grinchy One. This wouldn’t be important here except that for as long as we’ve known Juli Ashton, she’s done this same move to signify a moment in time meaning, more or less, “I don’t know. It seemed like a good idea at the time.” So as you read about Night Calls, April 21, 2004 you might remember this thumbnail. 5/4/04	D.Minion tries to deny it, but occasionally she gets Steamed by Mainstream. When Kristal and Anais were on a “real movie” set a few months back, DM somehow seemed to miss the festive spirit. Actually most of the time “Porn People” on a “real movie” set feel like everyone would like them better if they only just had leprosy or something.
