11/26/05	We have, you may have noticed, perhaps a slight tendency toward the insouciant. Believing fully in the value of the irreverent, though, we’ve nonetheless somehow managed to offend sufficiently few individuals to still be around a full decade after venturing into the now antiquated BBS form of the Internet. Well, things have a tendency to keep moving along, and the value of this retrospective potential spawned the last post of our “Thanksgiving Week, 2005.” We had one remaining D.Minion story for an old compatriot, and we decided this would be a good time to use it. So we did. Hey, once we finally decide something, at least we get right with the program. By the way, if you ever hear us plan on putting up a post every day for a week, no matter what our benevolent intentions, will someone please call a doctor? Someone’s clearly very ill at the office. 11/25/05	So today’s one of those days you’re supposed to be sitting around remembering the 70’s commercial: “I can’t believe I ate the whole thing.” Well, maybe that’s what you’re supposed to be doing. What you’re probably doing is sitting around remembering how many variations on a turkey theme you’re going to have to go through to get rid of all of the leftovers and swearing you’re having pizza for Christmas dinner this year. Enter Taren Steele. Now you really don’t need to say much more than that, as we’ve found it a fairly useful phrase for completely reorganizing whatever train of thought you happen to be on. 11/24/05	Now you’ve got your basic “history” and you’ve got some ever-more-interesting “herstory” today, featuring some of the very early days of a Risqué Business. Now that wouldn’t be all that captivating perhaps, but we do get a chance to show off the early work of Alexis DeVell and Shayla LaVeaux, although I don’t recall either of them “working” too hard during this particular trip come to think of it. 11/23/05	Michael’s finally got a new home for Ninn Worx, so he’s happy. And when Maverick sees today’s post about Kristal Summers’ Sensitivity Training, he’s going to die, but at least he’ll die happy. And D.Minon’s happy as long as everyone else it happy. And tomorrow we get to see Santa Claus in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, so what’s not to be happy about? 11/22/05	We’re continuing our thankful ways today with a look back at Dee – before she had her own show on Playboy/Spice TV, and before she had her own show twice a week on KSEX. It’s a Night Calls sort of a post, this being rather of the Night Calls 411 variety. You know, we’re even fairly confident that we can think of at least one anonymous, but faithful, member that will be very thankful for these shots of Nikki Nova and her sidekick Crystal Knight. 11/21/05	Well, it’s the beginning of Thanksgiving Week, and so we thought we’d do some giving of thanks this week. We’ve always thought that if you can’t be clever, you can always just be literal. So we’re starting with Julia Ann because quite honestly Julia came to us near to perfect and she moved on just the same way. It would be nice to think that we had a lot to do with Julia’s success over the years, but that’s just not the case. Julia’s seriously one of the most sincere and caring individuals we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with, and the fact that she used to spend time naked over at the house just kind of worked as a bonus over the years. Now if you ever happen to see Julia Ann on tour somewhere, be sure and tell her about all of the nice things we’ve said about her, and then see if she’ll get naked for you. 11/19/05	Oops. Juli Ashton and Tiffany Grannath make a quick appearance today, as we’ve once again been baffled by the “regular” Night Calls schedule that Playboy TV promises. Now the Halloween Episode did provide its predictable wackiness, and D.Minion even got a picture of a naked band member this time around, although before you get too excited we should “note” that it happens to be a male, so his member may not be as interesting as you might imagine. That said, we also snuck a secret bonus from last week, in our typically Maverick attitude around here. 11/6/05	Our “Ninn Worx Weekends” make a stellar return today with its usual bevy of comely lasses, which is really rather funny when you consider that we’re talking about the latest installment of POP. (Well, it will be the latest when it comes out later this month anyway.) We also debut the appearance of the Existential Comic in what may turn out to be his only appearance in these wonderful pages – not that he’d care much one way or the other. It’s all meaningless anyway, after all. On the upside, Terrell Owens has a lot of time to read today, what with him losing his job and all. He should really think about existentialism as an alternative to his “whining as a professional art form,” don’t you think? 4/30/05	We counted 17 separate references to old television theme songs in D.Minion’s story of Carol’s visit to Southern California. We’d actually worry about our sanity, but we’re much too crazy for this kind of deep introspection. Fortunately, the 125 photos from Michael Ninn (who didn’t even meet Carol, by the way) can make up for a lot of blatent silliness. 4/29/05	We get to visit with a bunch of old friends today, and D.Minion’s got 180 pictures and some 3,000-odd words to prove it. She was on the set of The Devinn Lane Show, Part 3: Attack of the Divas a couple of years back, and she got to spend some time with Julia Ann, Dee, Lola and Devinn. (D.Minion should pay us for this job.) By the way, we should state for the record here that, although we haven’t always agreed with her “career” decisions, Devinn Lane has always been beautiful, innovative, daring, and extremely motivated. In short, Devinn Lane is a very good director. She also happens to be wearing one of my favortie shirts during this shoot. “I can only be nice to one person a day. Today is not your day. 4/25/05	All of us at the office blame Carol for the lateness of the latest Ninn Worx Weekend. Michael didn’t get to meet Carol, since she “allegedly” spent her time in Southern California on the beach and eating home-cooked meals, and not on the Sybian. 4/20/05	Pretty much every day, everyone pretty much has to do something. So today we pretty much figured we’d just spend some time looking at Wanda Curtis. All in all, in our experience, this turns out to be pretty much of a fun thing to do, and so we’re encouraging you to do it too. I don’t know if any of you ever had the opportunity to see Wanda in person, but she looks like a drawing or something. When artists draw their idealized visions of the perfect female form, they generally look like Wanda, actually. If Barbie Dolls had a human incarnation, they would look like Wanda too. 4/17/05	… [DMinion wrote this. It’s not my fault.] “From Nightingale poop to human foreskin.” According to a TV show I just watched, these are some of the things people put on their faces to keep them looking young and beautiful. 4/15/05	In the movie business, a “side” is a small part of the script that the director intends to record on a particular day. Generally, when the “players” show up in their really groovy (or at least ego-gratifying) trailer room, some nameless person will have placed the sides in the room — most often directly upon the only horizontal seating area in said ego-gratifying room. The point, here, being that sometimes things don’t always turn out the way they “historically” should. In our ongoing efforts to convince Juli to release some of her “owned, albeit heretofore hidden,” footage of Essentially Inari, we’re providing a peek into the past lives of, not only Inari Vachs, but Dee, Kristal Summers, a very happily endowed man, a couple of genuinely nice women from Juli’s past, and even Juli herself. We call it “Old Irony-Sides” … but we’re like that. We would also like to point out that using words like “albeit” and “heretofore” should be at least a misdemeanor in any civilized country. 4/10/05	OK. Technically it may be a little late for a Ninn Worx Weekend, but, also technically, it’s still the weekend for three more minutes in LA as we’re posting this. 4/8/05	Well we’re still plowing through Tax Hell, which wouldn’t be as bad if you didn’t have to do it every year, we’re thinking. And as it turns out, although it really, really sucks to move with a broken leg right before Christmas, it’s even worse if you didn’t think about putting all of the various tax document areas from the office and warehouse in one box so you could find it easily when you needed it. (I don’t know why they were always in various places; that was not my job.) So we decided to make up for it with a Night Calls post from Juli and Tiffany’s February Show this year. This one turned out to be extra long, as it included the soon to be more famous Justine, along with a side trip to a Dee dance gig. We decided, “What the heck, let’s put a bunch of exclusive pictures of Anais up too. What, you want to spend more time on the Quicken Category and Transfer List?” Too many numbers in your life make you talk to yourself, you know. We do so not because of the repetitive rebellion so much as recognition of the fact that we just generally have a lot of different things to talk about. 3/23/04	OK. We finally got enough emails complaining about us not putting up the final chapter of Dee’s Cam Show to Define All Cam Shows to annoy us and spur us into motion. OK, It was actually only one email, but it was from Maverick, and he was just across the hall when he sent it, and that was annoying, so it did the trick. We also decided to post a bunch of beautiful pictures of Juli Ashton sunning herself (actually, a lot of herself) in Mexico, just to make the non-video fans happy. 3/19/04	Georgia comes into town next week to film the sequel to Becoming Georgia Adair. 3/15/04	Wow. A special treat awaits you today, as you get to ride on a water slide with Inari Vachs and Dee, and if you’re quick, you can even catch a glimpse of Wendy Divine. Of course you can also check out Dee’s photography, using Kristal Summers as a subject, and Hedonism III in Jamaica as a backdrop. If neither of those options interest you, you could always work on your taxes, but we wouldn’t advise mentioning that to any of your friends. Oh, and we tried really, really hard not to, but we titled this post Fronds in ‘Mo Places. Sometimes we just can’t help ourselves. It’s sad. 3/12/04	Did you ever know someone that was afraid to buy a new car because they were afraid that something would happen to it, or, worse, someone would just steal it? Occasionally (and sadly) it’s easy to understand that philosophy. In today’s introspection we take a brief look at the price (and risks) of fame, particularly as they relate to our poor aggrieved friend, Inari Vachs. Someone has stolen her identity on the web, and we’ve come up with if not a certainly successful solution, at least an entertaining one. We’ve also added a bit of Greek Mythology, always good for a laugh, and 104 wonderful pictures of the even more wonderful Ms. Vachs. 3/10/04	Our Maverick friend from over the Atlantic is counting down the days until he has to return home and go back to work. After what he’s been through here, he’ll need to go back to work to rest: The vacation has to be killing him. Being the type prone to torment, we’re putting up Part Three of the Cam Show that will define all Cam Shows, that actually happened while Carol was here. As a bonus we’re even showing how Shayla LaVeaux put the Wabo in Cabo way before Sammy Hagar began his exile there. 3/7/04	After the appropriate apologies to Michael Ninn, for not giving the Ninn Worx Weekends their appropriate due, we’re continuing our Dee, Kristal Summers, & Mr. Marcus extravaganza today. All in all, everyone should be happy … but probably Mr. Marcus most of all. What a great job he has. If I were only younger … and better looking … with a better body … Oh, never mind. 3/5/04	Today the dogs got a bath. Naturally D.Minion felt it vitally important to document this fact with photographs. The picture below shows the only male in our Canine Crew surveying his domain in a newly-acquired camouflage kerchief. Being just the tiniest bit irreverant, we’ve entitled it Semper Fido. You can look at even more pictures like this inside. Of course, you can also see part one of the recent cam show featuring Dee, Kristal Summers, and Mr. Marcus if you’d rather — although we can’t imagine why this would be the case. 3/4/04	D.Minion has been after us to catch up on the new “Dee KSEX Area” that Mav built. (We were going to dock his pay, and then we realized that he doesn’t actually get any, so we resolved to make him work in the dirt some more. But that’s a story for another day.) Dee also has been after us to get to work on this area, but Dee sweetened the pot by saying she’d do another cam show with secret guests if we got going on the KSEX stuff. We started today with 11/6/03 and 11/13/03. We’re relatively easy to bribe, as it turns out. As an aside, Faithful Members among us will recognize that as a tribute to our resident slave labor, Maverick, D.Minion took all of the pictures in the first set horizontally. 3/2/04	Mav’s been playing with all of the new software around here … with the predictable choice for subject matter. He’s come quite a long way with the Photoshop skills, and he’s picking up the html coding like … well, like a brash American …. Having recently observed him handle a shovel, however, we’re confident that all we needed to do to win the Revolutionary War was bury ourselves.
