10/28/07	We learn about money and naked British women today. Or maybe we just read about the process of Maverick coordinating a photo shoot for naked women utilizing almost no money. … Or (and this would be the more likely option, truth be told) we just look at a bunch of naked pictures of Kaz B and Masie and we pretty much ignore everything else. 10/25/07	Relationships are tricky animals. And relationships in the porn industry can be downright treacherous. Of course that doesn’t keep them from happening, and thus nothing keeps us from talking about them. We actually open with a brief reality check as we’re poised on the regular American Political Proving Ground, and eventually we even transition into some heretofore not publicly known intrigue involving Juli Ashton’s Night Calls, her original cohort, Doria Rone, and Playboy TV’s foray into the “Let’s Make a Movie About Our Series” business. Not to give too much away, and we’ll tell you right up front that we haven’t honestly seen the necessary sales or income reports required to be absolutely sure, but we’re thinking that The Simpsons Movie probably made more money. We don’t really have that many people working around here and everyone seems to be in the middle of one of those “Mega-Posts” that take a lot of time and organization. Consequently, if we ever make it through the queue, we’re quite certain you’ll be fascinated and intrigued … or maybe just entertained. We can live with either. Until then, we’ve taken a moment to appreciate Dee’s breasts, which if you’ve ever wondered turns out to be a dandy way to motivate people in the workplace. 7/27/05	Oh, boy … Now we’ve done it. For those of you that aren’t members of both sites, Michael (over at MichaelNinn.com obviously) recently wanted us to try putting D.Minion stories about his shoots over on his site too. Now we’ve always put them here if they inolved anyone we know and love, but a silly as it sounds Mr. Ninn sometimes does shoots that don’t include any Risqué women. I know. Crazy, huh? Anyway he loved the way it looked and the response it got, so now he wants us to do them for EVERY Ninn Worx shoot. Now it may not seem like it, but it’s a lot of work to post these stories the way we do, and since The Risqué Clan represents the major focus around here, we came up with a plan. We agreed to the task on the condition that y’all could see the “other” Ninn shoot stories too, and Michael agreed (happily, we might add). So today you get to see Porn Star which, although not technically starring anyone from our group, the movie does rather heavily relay on some personalities you may be very familiar with. That’s all we’ll say. We don’t mind helping Michael, but we’re still going to be nice about it. 7/25/05	One would think that working in the XXX Industry would be a fairly good job. Now we should probably dispell some myths here before we even get started, so “bare” [sic, we know] with us as we try not to ruin too many fantasies. … Hmm … This might be too large of a topic for a “New Stuff” lead-in, so let’s just go with the Bigee Myth: Women in the Porn Industry don’t actually have sex with anyone, anywhere, at the drop of a hat, or even trousers. OK. That’s over with. Actually this works exactly like most jobs. Everything gets old if you do it often enough. Honestly, the technical production of your favorite Adult Fare, probably wasn’t nearly as romantic as you might imagine. Put in more understandable terms, if you’re married it’s not that your spouse has “lost something” nearly so much as it is that you’re just really, really used to it. So don’t feel bad. (Do something about it, but don’t just sit around feeling bad.) More on point for the rest of us, as to today’s purposes we’ve called our wonderfully illustrated insights “Down in the Dolldrums” [still sic, we know]. 7/13/05	Well we assume that figuring out what went wrong should make us feel better, but basically it just means that we have a lot of “fixing” to do. Sigh. Still, the first lost story that surfaced from technical oblivion happened to be D.Minion’s account of the same Innocence shoot that Lon had an account of … sort of. There were a couple of shoots going on at the same time, and DM (this time around) only accounted for ONE of the two while still managing to get in 280 pictures and over 6,000 words. This is one of those many, many words posts, y’all, so prepare yourselves while we go look for some more of what we lost. Don’t worry too much though: We’re only looking for lost stories. We gave up looking for our minds some time ago. 6/30/05	You know what? We haven’t been talking about Dee enough. For awhile we just thought these uncomfortable feelings were just from the long hours at Ninn Worx, or trying to get a deep understanding of really sexy subjects like “video compression techniques” or something. We even gave the “must have had some bad seafood” theory a brief visit, but then we realized that unless it comes wrapped in paper, we haven’t eaten it lately. Then we saw Dee at LA Erotica and we realized the obvious truth of the matter: We haven’t been talking about Dee enough. You know, you can spend time with your head buried in codec geekdom, on machines that cost many thousands of dollars, and you still miss the simple stuff. 6/27/05	Conventions and Events pretty much describe the modern working world in America. No matter what you do for a living, there’s almost certainly a convention somewhere (every year) that brings all of you like-minded people together … probably to talk amongst yourselves about how hideous it is to try to do what you do for a living. … well … We have those also. And we also have those Events that really, really want to be in this “essential” catagory, so that they might make a bunch of money off of all of us too. Consider LA Erotica. Now the people that attend this paticular convention are much more interesting than the folks that pay money to display their wares, as it were, but it’s still a rather fun place to hang out for a bit. This year it cost $30 per person, per day, and that probably makes some accountant happy somewhere. We just went for the pretty girls. Sometimes simple is best. 9/30/04	Maverick’s sort of in like a lion and out like a lion in this, his second installment of “The Best of Kristal Summers’ Cam Shows.” This seems to be OK for two reasons: First of all, it’s September, and not April, and second, he’s British, and thus due no small amount of forgiveness if he manages to misunderstand some things. Also, redish has returned to his home base, so now we can show you a bunch of pictures of Juli Ashton on the road dancing, and he’ll be there to see them when they’re new. Kristal’s actually thinking about taking her dancing abilities to the road too, and she’ll be looking for a roadie, so bear that in mind. So far all the advice we’ve given her is that she should probably avoid Florida for the time being, and Carol may be looking for a job. We take care of our own, after all. 9/23/04	It appears that we say “Dang” a lot in this post. Maybe we’re lapsing into the politeness of old age, or maybe this just seems to be a remarkably descriptive term when talking about Dee. We don’t often get overly religious on this site, but let’s just leave it at this: When God made Eve, she/he was just practicing. After a bit of time, DEE resulted. 9/22/04	Sensing (although the drooling really sort of made that “insight” stuff rather simple) that Maverick might want to play with the new groovy computers in the office, we suggested that he might consider compiling a “Best Of” the last year of the the Kristal Cam-Show Enterprises. We’ve got a bunch in the archives, so we gave Mr. Mav eight of our favorites to absorb and then paste together. Now each tape happens to be one hour in length, so maybe we shouldn’t have been surprised to find that Maverick’s first run at a “Best Of” happened to be … well … eight hours in length. After threatening with no more beer (which oddly seemed to have little effect) and even more decomposed granite moving (which amazingly did the trick real speedy quicko), Mav managed to cut the episodes down to somewhere around 19 minutes. Even for “good” connections this will take a bit to download, but we have to admit that Maverick seems to know his Kristal. We’re suggesting clicking on the cute little icon to begin the download and then doing something fun like going out for ice cream. One must have priorities after all. We’re also suggesting never (ever) having some nice man dump 20 tons of decomposed granite in your driveway and then deciding to move it into the back yard a wheelbarrow-load at a time. 9/19/04	We’re BAA-AAACK! After taking a couple of weeks off to do some much needed finishing of projects around the house the team’s back in place and rarin’ to go. Truthfully, after moving 51 tons (literally) of dirt and rock into the back yard we figured we’d better go back to work because “vacation” was killing us. Public thanks here to D.Minion, Maverick, and Lon for going well beyond the call of duty for the remarkable compensation of pizza and beer, and more thanks to all of you patient members. We didn’t forget about you: We were just way too sweaty to be touching a keyboard. I’m thinking steer manure and granite dust would be bad for electronics. On the other hand, I’m thinking that a Ninn Worx Weekend from Michael’s newest Diamond Girl might just be good for some of the carbon-based things among us.
