1/29/06	Call it a hunch, but we’re thinking we’ve got the first of a few of the “Seen on the AEE 2006 Scene” reports here. We’re trying to start everyone off easy by not subjecting you to the feared mass of a typical D.Minion elucidation on the annual event in Las Vegas, so we figured we’d start with lil’ ol’ SteveD – a man of few words and many pictures – a man, in other words, close to the hearts of many members. So if you’re looking for Kristal Summers, Juli Ashton, Christy Canyon, Julia Ann, or anyone else that might hang out at a porn convention, well, so was Steve. 1/28/06	All in all, waking up every morning to the sounds and smells of the Pacific Ocean beats the heck out of waking up to the sounds and smells of millions of automobiles. Still, if you have to hang out in Los Angeles it doesn’t hurt to hang out with Miko Tan and Eva Angelina, particularly when you can make fun of the folks from the city. Out here, let’s just say we had a Fabulous time. Inside, of course, you’ll see (and read if you’re so inclined) much more … um … detail. It’s all about “d” tail around here, y’all. Speaking of tales, just when you think you’ve heard everything in this business, you realize you’re wrong. Now I’ve been in the XXX industry for 15 years now, and even I get suprised. While on this Ninn Shoot, one of the male performers looked over to the monitors and said, “She’s too tight.” Understandably confused, the young Director looked at me and asked what to do. Naturally I gave the most obvious answer that came to mind. “Give me her phone number,” I suggested. One need always maintain perspective I’ve learned. 1/23/06	It occurs to us that some people may need something to take their mind off of fumbles, interceptions, general embarrassment and overall ickiness. In our vast experience with these feelings of sadness, we’ve found that Anais can be a dandy diversion. If, for example, you have some stunning exclusive pictures of Anais practicing her modeling on a country set, and then you have visual evidence of Anais being somewhat skilled at self-satisfaction, you might be able to avoid burning everything orange and blue in your wardrobe. 1/22/06	Have you ever felt like important things just take an eternity to come to fruition? Well as it turns out a lot of things come (at least as a sort of fruition) in Wicked’s Eternity, and because we know people that know people we can tell you some things about it. 1/20/06	Sometimes the simplest things in life can make all of the difference, can’t they? Take for example a week where you get stuck doing all sorts of really un-sexy things like upgrading servers and checking php code for a new catalogue system that no one else is even going to know is there if it works right. And then say you still have like 70,000 images from the Vegas convention to go through (well, there probably aren’t that many, but there are a lot) and some of them are quite frankly just a little oogey. When you’re having a week like that, it turns out Monique Alexander can just brighten your whole day. Come to think of it, she’s always pretty much had that effect on the office. 1/15/05	Well, we’re still going through a bazillion pictures and mpegs from the recent AEE show, and we finally took a break to let everyone know we’re still alive, despite having had to listen to all of the sportcasters across the country explaining how wonderful the Indianapolis Colts are, and how sadly overrated the Denver Broncos are. Odd, that. More to the point, however, we took some time to put together a quick set of Kristal Summers hanging around the hotel room, when she wasn’t hanging around the convention. 1/9/06	Apparently while we were gone the “New Year’s” post (below) kept appearing and disappearing. Not being sure what exactly happened, we decided to blame it on Gremlins, since we don’t want to waste all of our “Blame it on D.Minion” chits this early in the year. That said, we’re trying something different, which for us generally means we’re going to end up in a place completely different from the one we imagined we’d end up when we set out, but at least we’re used to that. 1/2/06	Consider these our New Year’s Nudity Resolutions. Now these are a lot like regular New Year’s Resolutions, but they’re a lot more fun to keep. If you factor in Juli Ashton, Nikita, Vicca, and some (close, it seems) friends of theirs, you get one dandy equation that will hopefully keep y’all busy for the week we’ll be away in Las Vegas mingling, mixing, doing interviews and taking pictures … basically doing all the fun stuff Maverick doesn’t get to this year. If you have to struggle through these tedious work exercises, at least you should be able to taunt your friends about it. Hmm. That’s another fine New Year’s Resolution, come to think of it. 2/26/05	This is a “kinda-sorta” Ninn Worx Weekend set, although the shots don’t technically come from a DVD Gallery, they are here out of the goodness and niceness of Michael Ninn. Mostly we like them because they contain many, many pictures of Anais, Dee, Angel Cassidy, and Georgia Adair enjoying themselves (and at least one happy man). To be completely honest there are another 16 women playing among these 120 pictures too, but after the four-way tie for First Place, does it really matter? 2/19/05	In a poignant lesson about basic human kindness and the indelible human sexual spirit, we take a few moments today to ruminate upon the differences between porn stars and the rest of us. OK. 2/16/05	Because Dee does a lot more than just KSEX, we thought we’d show off a little more of her. Today she stars in the movie Chill which I think has a strange name. I watched it, and I actually felt kind of warm. Also, Dee had a scene with Scott Styles and Christie Lee, and another one with Holly Hollywood, so there’s a lot to look at here. 4/30/03	We know that today was supposed to be the next installment in the odyssey that was Becoming Georgia Adair, but it turned out to also be a “fifth Wednesday” of the month, and so we usually run the latest Night Calls shenanigans on this day. It was a quandry. We were once again confused. Then we decided to go with the old Manager trick of simply going with seniority, and Juli Ashton won out again. Besides, Carol was getting a little weepy about not reading about the last show already. Now because we’re deep in the depths of dealing with umpteen thousand pictures of Playmate/Pets, you’re probably going to have to wait until this weekend to get the next Georgia installment. If it’s any consolation, this episode features a bunch of pictures of naked and frolicking Georgia Adair and Inari Vachs. It’ll be worth the wait, we promise. 4/28/03	We get Sideswiped by our lack of attention today, and we reach a Turning Point. 4/23/03	We have a new winner today, and we stopped the presses to tell you about it! Well, technically we stopped some presses, but we started others, and (very technically) we don’t actually have any “presses” at all, per se. But none of that matters. Yesterday we had a member visit the office who came all the way from Tokyo, Japan to bring us pictures he took at this year’s AEE. We looked it up, and according to the “Los Angeles Almanac” the air distance between L.A. and Tokyo is 5,478 miles. When Maverick visited from London, he only had to travel 5,456 miles — meaning he has been bested by 22 miles. Poor Mav … If you move to, say, Tehran, Iran before your next visit, Mav, you’d have to come 7,581 miles to get here, and you’d be the winner again. You might have other issues at your new home, however. 4/3/03	Somebody, we just can’t seem to remember who, requested more naked pictures of Dee. Since Dee was the “Mistress of Ceremonies” at the quest that was Becoming Georgia Adair, we turned to our old on-set buddy Cronin to see if he’d managed to snap off any appealing shots while documenting Georgia’s debut. Turns out that he had, and he was happy to share. Somewhat unexpectedly in this set, there’s this one little picture that gives you just a taste of what’s in store for Georgia with this show. 4/2/03	A war began but Night Calls went on. In our pitiful attempts to avoid political comment, we at least have the benefit of providing beautiful women to look at. If you take this tactic, however, you’ll miss hearing about Juli and the Fireman’s pole, and that might be even worse than watching CNN.
