5/30/07	We can tell you for a fact that looking at a blank page (or these days a blank computer screen) and being faced with the task of filling it with pithy insights can be a daunting task. It doesn’t really matter if you’re 10 and in grade school, or 20 and in college, or … well … a bit older than that. The feelings of fright and inadequacy don’t ever really change. If you happen to be new in the office around here, though, you’ll fairly quickly discover that we basically don’t care. We try and try to tell new folks to just write the truth, just write what they feel, and the rest of us will work it in. All of that said, "Bijou Boudoir" makes her debut today, and in keeping with another of our general philosophies, that’s more than enough French for one day. Suddenly we’re thinking of soup though. Odd. The rest of you can enjoy watching a newbie at work with some dazzling and beautiful young women doing some dazzling and beautiful things with each other. Some 230+ pictures and +/- 3,000 words later, we’ve only accomplished Day One of Becoming Georgia Adair: Self Portrait. When it rains it pours. 5/17/07	Let’s say we have some "Cock Tales of the Kinky variety" shall we? … Now if you take that as your opening assumption then you really don’t have to dig too deeply before you think something along the lines of, "Gee. This might be interesting." … And wouldn’t you know that, "Gee. You may be correct." We should admit that today’s offering may induce some thinking rather more deep than you’re used to when dealing with XXX entertainment, but it’s not so much a requirement as a suggestion. Since we’re on the topic, we should also admit that whatever else it induces you should probably just keep to yourselves. All in all, any day that we can blame someone else for something, we’re pretty content. You take you pleasures in life where you can find them. 5/14/17	We’re interrupting our fascinating coverage of all the naked women in FEM to bring you a couple of naked women from the Risqué fold, as it were. We’re not doing this for any particular reason, and certainly Mr. A Writer didn’t think that today was anything special when he emailed in today’s submission. … Nope. … If there happens to be a special birthday today, well we plum forgot all about it. … Probably. … You will notice as you peruse the photos today, though, that Taren Steele and Vicca apparently bring a broom with them to the beach when they go nude sunbathing. Presumably they may need to sweep up. Who knows? We don’t recall. … Now when you consider this fact, it really may be difficult to tell what exactly we remember and what exactly we don’t and why exactly that happens. 5/13/07	"It was chucking it down on Tyneside and the St. James’ Park pitch was slippery, so there were at least the odd hideously mistimed tackle and some handbags at ten paces, but that was as exciting as it got." … That’s a quote out of a detective story by Mark Billingham, and if you’re a murder mystery fan and have never read anything written by a modern writer from the U.K. you should put it on your list. You get sentences like this and although all of the words seem to be in English they surely do have a completely convoluted meaning, at least to us "Yanks." Actually the characters all seem to live with a rather pervasive despondency too, but that’s probably outside of where we’re going today. Rather we address another set of baffling decisions as we begin our look with D.Minion on the set of Fem: Staccato. We’re not positive any of this is quite cricket, come to think of it. 5/11/07	The best thing about "spring" cleaning has to be that occasionally some nifty things "fall" into your hands that you’d forgotten about. Now certainly "summer" better than others, but "winter" …. Well, honestly we lost it there. Winter just doesn’t seem to fit in anywhere, and since the (alleged) leader around here grew up in Colorado, he considers himself somewhat of an expert on the topic. Rather more to point we decided to take a look at Musa acuminata, but then we decided not to monkey around with that either. 5/8/07	When an old dog gets up off the porch and comes your direction, you’re never really sure just what kind of reception you’re going to get. 5/7/07	Oddly, the first time many of you probably read the little notice below was YESTERDAY, which wasn’t exactly the intention. Somebody thought somebody put it on the server, and somebody else thought somebody different put it on the server, yada, yada, yada. The point being here, of course, that NOBODY checked. (We also had to explain the difference between "schlepping" and "schtupping" when we got back, if any of you did happen to notice that yesterday.) … Anyway they had some grand plans here, y’all, they really did. The first thing they were going to do was the D.Minion account from the entire shoot of Becoming Georgia Adair, Self Portrait – all 600 or so pictures – all taken back in the days before digital cameras got really good and using Photoshop to "improve" them was actually quite a bit of a challenge. And then they –"got stuck" – I think was the technical explanation I’ve heard most often. Well we’ll start with some good ol’ Dee at KSEX insights while we try to figure out what’s going on. You’ve all been on vacation, right? You know how long it takes for the stress at work to hit you after you get back from vacation? … Not very long. Sorry about that. 12/12/06	You know how we always say that truth is stranger than fiction? Consider this, and we promise that it’s true. … We were riding in a new SUV that one of the Risqué ladies happened to have picked up recently, and we couldn’t help but noticing a vast collection of “sticky notes” plastered on the dash. “I just love this new car,” the fair lass bubbled, “that little plastic screen is the perfect place to put directions for places I’m going.” … Honestly we waited as long as we could before pointing out that she was in fact using “sticky notes with directions” to cover up the vehicle GPS system. … Sometimes in life it’s best just to sit back and enjoy it. And that’s what we figured to do today as we immerse ourselves in Chris Hall’s pictures on the set of Aperture. Real photographers are fun to visit sometimes, but we must be honest and point out that Chris forgot to get any pictures of domestic animals or guys on ladders. 10/31/08	We have a lot of wonderful posts around here. (Right?) But we don’t always have wonderfully timed posts around here. Part of the nature of a true “reality in the porn business” site happens to be that schedules can change rapidly – and frequently. We don’t do the typical “print every press release you can find about the business and then try to sell advertising space on your site” sort of approach that almost all of the adult sites do these days. We just try to provide a meek little “Adult Diary” (remember that name you old timers?) of what happens in our little neck of the woods (or whatever body part seems pertinent that particular day). So imagine our surprise when we woke up and somebody on The Today Show mentioned that it’s Halloween. Gee. You’d think we’d notice something like that, at least you would if you didn’t understand the chaos that occasionally defines our existence. Still, we changed the plan once again because there’s really nothing more apropos for this particular day than “Dee & Demon Dog” …. You can see that, right? … Maybe we’ll use today’s plan for tomorrow, or maybe by tomorrow the plan will change again and we’ll have to postpone it to some future time, at which point we’ll undoubtedly say, “Didn’t we put that up yesterday?” Sadly, we’re occasionally like that too. Sometimes you need to be careful about the adjectives that you choose, because you don’t want to give the wrong impression. Those grammar aficionados out there will quickly recognize that this first sentence has no adjectives. Make of that what you will. … Oh, and if you’re wondering where we got the unusual thumbnail for this post, you’ll have to check out the entry. Just like Sacred Sin there is a “secret code” somewhere in the story that tells you the answer to this burning question. Unlike Sacred Sin, however, you will not win a free autographed Eddie Van Halen guitar if you are the first to guess the answer. Sorry. On the upside, also unlike Sacred Sin, this “code” is just written in plain English, so it’s really not that hard to figure out. You take the bad with the good in life. 10/18/06	Sometimes you just need to take a break. For example if you’re innocently looking at coming in to work and putting together a festive look at being on the set of Fem: L’Amour and then somebody runs up before you even sit down and says they’re “not done with the 339 pictures yet, and don’t bug me about it.” And then you hear loud cursing sounds from an office close by that says “10,000 f*king words?” And then the normally unflappable computer dude happens by without* the heretofore ubiquitous cup of coffee, and says (for the very first time you’ve ever heard, ever) “I’m not sure if I can do anything with these mpeg files for Friday. … Clearly drastic and frantic solutions were in order, and the Big-Boss-Hog-Honcho’s off in meeting today. … Immediately a stunningly simple solution came to mind, involving a simply stunning Anais. … Don’t you love it when a different plan comes together? 9/17/06	There were times we thought it would never happen. There were tumultuous times; there were times of high achievement, and times of great joy. 9/15/06	We’re doing a favor for a dedicated member today, but like most dedicated members, he probably doesn’t mind sharing. It seems that we’ve uncovered a treasure-trove of unseen photographs of Anais, and it seems further like he would like to see them. It’s been an emotional week, but this seems like a dandy way to kick off the weekend. Sometimes you just need to take some time and look at the pretty girls. 9/6/06	Oddly enough the important people are headed off to Los Angeles to begin anew with the task of covering shoots for Ninn Worx. This time around Lorraine Sisco’s directing (contract star) Heather Vuur in a Feature called (so far) Aperture and Michael’s directing Heather to lead the next of his Fem releases. That’s interesting, but not nearly as interesting as checking out an in abstentia tribute to “an old best friend” of D.Minion’s. 9/2/06	It’s hard to believe, but we’re actually working our way through this Sacred Sin BTS by D.Minion as we reach Day Four today. Aside from the fact that there are some unusual (and fun) music video pictures, there’s also Monica Mayhem (and of course Heather Vuur and Jassie). All in all in was a day of Gothic Chandeliers, Piles of Rubble, Musical Geniuses … oh, and fake blood.
