2/28/10	Maverick and 247AdultStars begin the "official" Adult Entertainment Expo coverage, which makes those of us waiting on the reports from Lon and Steve just a little nervous, quite honestly. If you think about it, one doesn’t need to spend much time writing two or three hundred words, particularly when you’re talking about the contributors around here. Oh well, in typical fashion we’ve decided to panic about that bridge when we suddenly have to cross it, and at least Mav decided to break this mega-event up into four parts. For our part, we’ve decided that only brief editorial comment, supported by a very few quite wonderful pictures of Kristal Summers at home might be just the ticket today. Apparently there’s a big hockey game at the Olympics that people want to watch anyway. At least hockey makes some kind of sense as a sport, we’ll give it that. 2/23/10	Granted most people in the adult business probably don’t look at the Tiger Woods situation the same way as more "regular" folks do. We certainly don’t want to look at it as often, that’s for sure. It seems to us (at least the males) here, that no one has ever asked the question we really all want to know. How the heck can you be that famous and get away with it that many times with that many women? We don’t give one whit about "why" you did it, but if you could just tell us HOW, that would be useful information. Being (often decidedly) not one of the males here, however, D.Minion brings in her timely (and predictably weird) take on the whole sex addiction scenario. 2/21/10	We’re not sure how many of you actually watch the world competitions going on up in Vancouver right now, but we do have a question for any of you that might be more knowledgeable than we seem to be. What kind of a person thinks it’s a wonderful idea to jump on a sled and fly down a winding tube of ice when the first thing that hits something if there’s a problem will be their head? Shouldn’t we all be just naturally wary of a sport called the "Skeleton" anyway? … At any rate, while pondering these more confusing questions, we’re continuing our own Olympic efforts with the Dee at KSEX saga, not only because it stands in marked departure from Mav’s latest entry, but also Dee has really great breasts — which never seem to be covered up by all that necessary winter clothing. 2/19/10	This seems to be the ultimate day for sweethearts, which seems to assume the possibility of bitterhearts, right? … And on a completely unrelated topic (Yeah, right.), we finally got a convention report submitted by one of our certainly dedicated professionals. Curiously it was not the most recent convention, but we’re getting closer, so that has to count for something. 10/28/08	Apparently the “business” Internet connections in the U.K. don’t function the same way as the ISPs do over here in civilization. Poor Maverick has waited almost a week to get his connection back, as they keep sending someone out to “try something” and then it doesn’t work so they just promise another technician will be by in 24-48 hours. … For our part we decided to help the chap out by posting his 247 update and telling everyone about it here. This method has the distinct benefit of allowing us to say pretty much whatever we want, and he can’t even check it to defend himself. We’re off to LA for the next “super-secret” shoot, but rumor has it that we’ll at least be able to talk about it next week, so that’s a plus. First thing we’ll do when we get back this weekend will be to make corrections to protect Mav’s reputation. … Probably. It would be wrong to title this Sandie Caine is Able, right? 10/16/08	Maverick has a bit to say about Harry’s last party today, what with him being all in the party mood again with Vegas and mucho porn partying on the horizon. 10/3/08	You ever meet anyone that just can’t throw anything away? To these unusual creatures “old, obscure, and useless” somehow morphs in their brains into “retro, cool, and valuable,” and most of (read: sane among) us have no idea how this happens. Well, D.Minion has been a bit ill lately, giving her an unusual amount of time wandering the recesses of her … um … unique abode. Understanding that this place boasts overflowing shelves of Sonny and Cher dolls, you can see that it always frightens us when DM spends too much time there. The brain can only take so much 70’s influence before it starts rebelling, at least that’s our theory. Now consider the “super-secret extra collection” of risqué memorabilia she unearthed recently, and you have some idea of what you’re in for today. It won’t make anything easier to “grok” (since we’re using retro terms), but sometimes just trying to figure out how you got to a place can help. At least you can try to avoid the problem in the future. For our part we’ve issued an official memo forbidding D.Minion from ever getting sick again. 7/31/08	Did you ever do anything really dumb just because a good friend wanted you to? Yeah, well, this doesn’t exactly qualify as jumping off a cliff, or climbing up and painting the town water tower or anything, but we’re still putting up a story today that in good conscience we must simply encourage all of you not to read. For some undoubtedly deeply psychological reason, D.Minion has decided that we’re really all quite interested in a couple of aging domestic animals, and she has gone so far as to provide pictures (to our great shame). That said, we always make it easy for you to skip down to the bottom of an entry just by hitting the little camera icon at the top of the page, and you should definitely do that today. Once there you’ll find that we did manage to sneak in a bit of lesbian shower fun with Taren Steele and Juli Ashton — and there’s not a household pet in site. Then, naturally, as we go through the process of adding our minutiae (which sometimes turns out not to be all that “minute” if you want to be technical about it) the posts seem to take on a life of their own — typically a very weird life. … Well, you’ll be happy (or maybe sad) to know that we’ve done it again with Erotica LA, 2008. 7/1/08	Reading a book the other day we realized that we don’t say “various and sundry” enough around here, particularly when you realize that this phrase pretty much sums up our lives. So we’re down shooting some more content and we stop for lunch. As we pull in to the lot for our favorite Valley-Local “Burger, Hot Dog, Chinese Food” joint, we notice a new bus stop bench out front advertising a “Topless Truck Wash” . Now presumably they don’t wash only topless trucks, but that’s still not overly odd. It’s LA, after all. Then we pop into a restroom inside and notice an expression of the quickly dying graffiti art written on the wall above the urinal. “Fuck the bitch, Suzie” it said, and it gave the anticipated phone number. Now other than obviously being less elegant than the traditional “For a good time” approach it didn’t really capture our attention until we read the last line reading, “Recommended by Ed.” … Don’t you just love style? Fortunately today we’re discussing neither men’s rooms nor Chinese restaurants that serve hot dogs. Instead we’ve unleashed even more “Dee on KSEX” entries, these being specifically from June 3rd and June 10th – of 2004. Consequently, suddenly he’s now got all kind of formats over there at 247AdultStars. Now you need to realize that he has the benefit of being able to share with us the first legitimate shower adventures of the delectable Cate Harrington, who apparently had a soiled “personal toy” because she decided it needed a shower too. Still, it did seem a reason to celebrate some degree of multi-cultural happiness, not that we’ve ever really needed much of a reason to do that.
