6/30/07	It may seem hard to believe, but we always read and (mostly) listen to the member emails that come in. Now we can’t say we always follow the “advice” since some of the “suggestions” seem to be physically impossible, but some of them are actually nice, and those we tend to pay attention to. We also like giving friends a semi-public chance to “vent” when life has given them lemons … or marshmellow bunnies, or something … and so we’re able to accomplish two goals very early in the process today. We get to see a lot of “Dee Behind the Scenes” changing clothes and generally being adorable and we get to learn some history that involves many, many naked women. All in all, with this much accomplished before nine o’clock in the morning, we’d better go spend some quality time with the dogs. 6/26/07	Details remain sketchy at this point, but it appears that D.Minion and Lon had a meaningful experience with Julia Ann over the weekend – which happened to include the use of a bed. We decided that while we’re uncovering (as it were) more details, today might just be a good day to recount some Julia Ann experiences with our old friend Inari Vachs. Apparently Julia Ann has developed some experience dealing with Naughty Amateurs – which would undoubtedly include both Lon and D.Minion, by the way. 6/17/07	We’re off to a geek convention so that we might learn new and improved ways to be confused in our everyday efforts, and then we’re staying down for the Erotica LA Convention next Weekend. Now as we understand it, one should make a practice of being kind to strangers, and so that’s what we’re doing in this particular mega-venture to entertain you in our absence. While Maverick doesn’t qualify as someone we don’t know obviously, we can assure you with absolute certainty that he is indeed stranger than most people you’ll ever meet. Lamenting his failure to arrange a visit to correspond with our upcoming parade with porn stars, he … let’s say, unhappily … pointed out that we never made time to publish his … let’s say unique … adventures at the AEE last January. So we’ve made the (considerable) effort to do that. Without providing too much editorial comment at this early juncture, let us just point out that you could read 1,000 words and look at 100 pictures on each of the seven days covering our little trip here, and you’d still have four more pictures to go – along with Heaven knows how many words. Culture is a curious thing; add it to the XXX world, and you’ve got an interesting animal to say the least. 6/14/07	You know what’s good about Mia Smiles? Well, darned near everything if you want to know the truth. So when Mia stepped in as wardrobe mistress, and cell phone aficionado, and talent to work with Katsumi, we decided we’d hang out and see if anything interesting happened. It seemed to oddly enough. 6/6/07	In keeping with our basically weird existence we have a special report today that’s a “Lala” shoot that doesn’t actually happen in LA. We know: It sounds confusing. Now we’ve said this before, but you really might consider just skipping to the 100+ pictures of the beautiful naked woman. Either that, or you’re gonna need a map, and you really have to be careful about paper cuts … at least on some parts of your person … that may be rather exposed while you’re looking … or maybe not. 6/2/07	Favorite shirt we saw at the rodeo this weekend: “Sure beer has no food value but food has no beer value either.” … OK. We didn’t really go to the rodeo this weekend, but there’s one in town and this guy wearing a cowboy hat had that shirt on, so we figure it’s a fair assumption that the shirt ended up at the rodeo too. 5/30/07	We can tell you for a fact that looking at a blank page (or these days a blank computer screen) and being faced with the task of filling it with pithy insights can be a daunting task. It doesn’t really matter if you’re 10 and in grade school, or 20 and in college, or … well … a bit older than that. The feelings of fright and inadequacy don’t ever really change. If you happen to be new in the office around here, though, you’ll fairly quickly discover that we basically don’t care. We try and try to tell new folks to just write the truth, just write what they feel, and the rest of us will work it in. All of that said, "Bijou Boudoir" makes her debut today, and in keeping with another of our general philosophies, that’s more than enough French for one day. Suddenly we’re thinking of soup though. Odd. The rest of you can enjoy watching a newbie at work with some dazzling and beautiful young women doing some dazzling and beautiful things with each other. 5/14/17	We’re interrupting our fascinating coverage of all the naked women in FEM to bring you a couple of naked women from the Risqué fold, as it were. We’re not doing this for any particular reason, and certainly Mr. A Writer didn’t think that today was anything special when he emailed in today’s submission. … Nope. … If there happens to be a special birthday today, well we plum forgot all about it. … Probably. … You will notice as you peruse the photos today, though, that Taren Steele and Vicca apparently bring a broom with them to the beach when they go nude sunbathing. Presumably they may need to sweep up. Who knows? We don’t recall. … Now when you consider this fact, it really may be difficult to tell what exactly we remember and what exactly we don’t and why exactly that happens. 5/13/07	"It was chucking it down on Tyneside and the St. James’ Park pitch was slippery, so there were at least the odd hideously mistimed tackle and some handbags at ten paces, but that was as exciting as it got." … That’s a quote out of a detective story by Mark Billingham, and if you’re a murder mystery fan and have never read anything written by a modern writer from the U.K. you should put it on your list. You get sentences like this and although all of the words seem to be in English they surely do have a completely convoluted meaning, at least to us "Yanks." Actually the characters all seem to live with a rather pervasive despondency too, but that’s probably outside of where we’re going today. Rather we address another set of baffling decisions as we begin our look with D.Minion on the set of Fem: Staccato. We’re not positive any of this is quite cricket, come to think of it. 5/11/07	The best thing about "spring" cleaning has to be that occasionally some nifty things "fall" into your hands that you’d forgotten about. Now certainly "summer" better than others, but "winter" …. Well, honestly we lost it there. Winter just doesn’t seem to fit in anywhere, and since the (alleged) leader around here grew up in Colorado, he considers himself somewhat of an expert on the topic. Rather more to point we decided to take a look at Musa acuminata, but then we decided not to monkey around with that either. 5/7/07	Oddly, the first time many of you probably read the little notice below was YESTERDAY, which wasn’t exactly the intention. Somebody thought somebody put it on the server, and somebody else thought somebody different put it on the server, yada, yada, yada. The point being here, of course, that NOBODY checked. (We also had to explain the difference between "schlepping" and "schtupping" when we got back, if any of you did happen to notice that yesterday.) … Anyway they had some grand plans here, y’all, they really did. The first thing they were going to do was the D.Minion account from the entire shoot of Becoming Georgia Adair, Self Portrait – all 600 or so pictures – all taken back in the days before digital cameras got really good and using Photoshop to "improve" them was actually quite a bit of a challenge. And then they –"got stuck" – I think was the technical explanation I’ve heard most often. Well we’ll start with some good ol’ Dee at KSEX insights while we try to figure out what’s going on. You’ve all been on vacation, right? You know how long it takes for the stress at work to hit you after you get back from vacation? … Not very long. Sorry about that. 12/12/06	You know how we always say that truth is stranger than fiction? Consider this, and we promise that it’s true. … We were riding in a new SUV that one of the Risqué ladies happened to have picked up recently, and we couldn’t help but noticing a vast collection of “sticky notes” plastered on the dash. “I just love this new car,” the fair lass bubbled, “that little plastic screen is the perfect place to put directions for places I’m going.” … Honestly we waited as long as we could before pointing out that she was in fact using “sticky notes with directions” to cover up the vehicle GPS system. … Sometimes in life it’s best just to sit back and enjoy it. And that’s what we figured to do today as we immerse ourselves in Chris Hall’s pictures on the set of Aperture. Real photographers are fun to visit sometimes, but we must be honest and point out that Chris forgot to get any pictures of domestic animals or guys on ladders. 11/19/06	Naturally most of you will be way too busy today watching football to see any of the insights that Maverick finally decided to give us (along with the “documentary” video naturally) from his last g/g shoot. Still, since they only have “that other kind of football” over there in the U.K., though, today seemed like a good time to give those dern foreigners (which is pretty much what we call everyone that doesn’t watch football, regardless of their place of domicile) something to do. The rest of you can catch it on Monday after work. No. … That won’t work because of Monday Night Football on ESPN, and since Thursdays are now gone starting this week with new night games on the NFL Network, you’re pretty much going to have to fit it in on Tuesday or Wednesday, or just make an excuse for being late for your weekend dates. 11/15/06	Oh, goodness we have many, many pictures today. We’re off for a couple of days to attend a Digital Video Convention down in LA, and we thought we’d give you a little to look at while we’re gone. Silly us. Maybe we should have thought this through a little more carefully before we plopped down some 300-odd (and some very odd) photos to go through in Days Two and Three of D.Minion’s typically epic coverage of the shoot. Ah well, it is the rest of the Aperture shoot, and so it is Heather Vuur, and Marie Luv, and Daisy Marie … and yada, yada. Sometimes people over-complicate things in life. 11/10/06	Ah-Hah! We have found the solution to the temptation to run off at the mouth/keyboard that we sometimes see around here. If you just limit the day to one scene, and then you place it in a location that’s functionally impossible for D.Minion to get to, you actually end up with a manageable amount of text and pictures that now define Day One on the set of Aperture. Wow. … Still, we see two sort of major problems with this. First, no human being we’ve ever met can claim any sort of influence over how Michael will do anything at all associated with his movies, and second, the trouble with finding solutions to temptations seems historically to be that the pesky temptations simply mutate into something a lot more formidable. 11/9/06	Sometimes things get lost in translation. That happens. … It doesn’t often happen, however, between the U.S. and the U.K. it would seem. Other than the odd “knickers” reference and a “fag” here or there confusion, we can really communicate fairly well we’ve always thought. Granted, we’ll never understand blood sausage, and although rugby has its appeal, to us a “cricket” will always be a harmless little bug that makes pleasant noises in the evening. Still, overall, we pretty much understand each other. Consequently, our scientists ought to be able to communicate just fine as well, right? Well obviously something got mucked up in the trek across the Atlantic because although we all know that carrots are good for our eyesight, the way that we get that nifty vitamin A into our systems somewhat differs from how they appear to over in Maverick’s land. 11/7/06	Another Ninn Worx shoot is in the books, or on the HD Tapes, or whatever, and we’re back in a much more peaceful land. Our favorite crew t-shirt of this shoot read: I’m like a Superhero – with no powers or motivation. That may not excuse much, but as an explanation we found it wonderful. Speaking of not having excuses, GO OUT AND VOTE TODAY. We’ve provided a little visual humor on which you can ruminate during your travels to the polls, and we don’t even care how you vote. It is most important that you do so, however. Pictures are just very brief moments in time, and your actions today have a chance to be a little more than that. OK.
