Having a birthday near Christmas can really suck, since everybody tends to be celebrating for everybody, and your special day sort of gets swallowed up in the process. One has always needed to be a bit careful when throwing terms around like Girly Thoughts — presumably as compared to Boyly ones, we suppose. Aside from the blatant sexism in the concept, it does make it seem like you actually believe that some “thoughts” my be limited to certain sexes. Context makes a good deal of difference in life. For example, should you have very few calendar years under your belt, you might be a little squirt.
